Dark Star noticed how Silver had seen her blush, even through her dark coat and blushed harder. 'Why is it I suddenly can't face him?' she wondered to herself. She had talked to stallions all the time, so there was no difficulty being around them at all. She actually spent more time around stallions more often than mares, something she actually stopped to question. Then, for no apparent reason, she began to question her femininity and how it may have affected stallions. She pressed a hoof up against the base of her horn and forced herself to settle her thoughts. She was already in a happy relationship with Crimson Tale and didn't want to get herself involved in another relationship so soon.
She turned to face him, but then got nervous and stopped without saying anything. She looked around and suddenly realized the car they were on was completely empty, which only made her anxiety rise, easily evidenced by her now-glowing eyes. She took a deep breath, calmed down and was about to speak up until Silver suddenly asked her how long she lived in Ponyville. Her breath was quickly expelled in a loose sigh and she felt much calmer, the glow in her eyes dying down. "I've only lived in Ponyville for a little over a year now. The living arrangements were cheap, the locals were kind, what more reason did I need for moving in there?" she rhetorically asked.
She felt much better as she explained everything and was about to explain more before a large bump in the train knocked her on her side, with her head directly on Silver's lap. She looked up at him and her long-since forgotted blush suddenly returned. Her crimson eyes lit up immediately and she began to shake uncontrollably. 'There's no way I can explain this if some-pony saw us' she thought. She immediately got up and scooted as far away from the twinkling stallion and sat perfectly still on the edge. She knew right away that anything she said would be mindless babbling and stayed perfectly silent until Silver spoke up to her.
