Twisted laughed, he didn't mean to sound rude but frankly it was kinda of funny what Raijin said. Twisted remembered his youth, sounded kinda similar to the one Raijin just described.

"Ha...books? yeah that sounds familiar, but that's the first hurdle you see," Twisted turned to face him "No doubt you gotta be smart if you wanna be a Wonderbolt, but that knowledge isn't just in books, you gotta learn from experience..I appreciate that you're practicing tricks but that doesn't help completely,"

Placing his drink down by his side, he hopped off the bench and moved forward a bit before turning to face Raijin on the bench.

"In the Wonderbolts you get given tricks most of the time, there's no reason practicing your own yet. You gotta get strong, fast, smooth" He did different poses to represent each element "You gotta perfect yourself before you can perfect your moves, I mean I got in because of my ability to change direction like this!"

Rocketing off into the sky, leaving a black and white checkered trail as he did so. Hovering in mid air, Twisted looked down at Raijin with a smirk before rocketing off. Doing a large arching loop that left him heading in Raijin's direction, albeit overhead. Some of the ponies on the streets looked up, normally a pegasi flying wasn't something to grab anypony's attention. However with the speeds that he just rocketed off and the mind bending trail of monochromatic shapes that he left just drew attention from all round. As he shot forward, Twisted grinned and pulled off his signature move.

At a perfect 90 degree angle, Twisted shot directly up into the air, then almost a second later off to the side. He changed directions constantly, as if he were into a 3d maze. moving up, down, side to side all at perfect angles with no loss of speed or control. Finishing this amazing trick, He came to a sudden stop with as if someone just pushed the pause button. Slowly lowering back down in front of Raijin with a smile.

"You think I was able to do that by reading alone? Nah, I had to work on my skill for 6 pure years of pain before I was able to get close to even thinking about being able to do that, first time I tried that trick, I woke up and had missed out on the entire month" He chuckled, picking up his drink and taking a sip.

"No doubt you gotta be smart if you wanna be a Wonderbolt, but that knowledge isn't just in books, you gotta learn from experience." That phrase alone repeated back to back like a recording. The words of the Wonderbolt, Twisted Mix, was right. He knew this, but yet he continued stuffing his head with books every moment he gets. He was not born a decent flyer, if anything he was very bad when it came to flying. Well, that was years ago, but that's another story for some other time. He wanted to prove that he could make it big just by using what he's learned, the knowledge inside his head. The monochromatic-schemed pegasus was dead on and yes he's said that already. There was far more than being book smart if Raijin wanted a chance to get into the Wonderbolts and it finally took him to realize that maybe he should change. He wasn't going to stop his usual reading and planning habits, but he could take a little less time away from that and pursue on other things.

Raijin listened intently as the Wonderbolt spoke of the qualities a pony needs to have. He didn't even bother to blink unless he had to and what Twisted Mix went to do next, almost made his jaw drop. He never expected the elite flyer to do a little performance right here in Ponyville, nor was he ever expecting that he would get the chance to see it this close. Soon, it was no doubt why the white pegasus was able to make it into the team, not that there was any doubt to begin with. Though the Wonderbolt's white and black streak did cause his eyes to feel a little strain, he was still at awe by how he was able to turn with little to no effort. Twisted didn't even seem to lose any speed when he made that ninety degree turn before he started going off everywhere. All his turns and executions seems perfect and when everything ended, the white-maned pegasus left him speechless before a single word escaped his mouth, "Wow.."

The yellow pegasus shook his head to snap himself out of his daze and became amazed again on how long the monochromatic pony worked to even get close to that trick he just did. It took him six years and it definitely paid off, though he was shocked after hearing Twisted missing out for a entire month. "You crashed and went into a coma or something?" Raijin asked the pony with concern, wanting to know how that happened. Hearing this even made him think about all the injuries he's been through in the past. He never had anything serious as getting into a coma. He may have slept for a day or two, but a month?! He wasn't sure how to take that, but wow this Wonderbolt was something else. Raijin was even more amazed at the other members of the team now and he was so curious about their own experiences. After seeing and hearing all this from a member of the Wonderbolt himself, some ponies may get discouraged, but it just inspired him to go even further.

Sipping on his drink with lazy eyes and a relaxed expression, Twisted made a little motion with his head that told Raijin to start walking with him again. The two wandered out of the little garden area and back into the streets of Ponyville, Twisted's little performance had garnered him some attention that mostly consisted of bewildered pegasi wondering how he just did what he just did. He thought about the question that Raijin asked, not so much a question as a clarification of the obvious.

"Pretty much, the kind of g-force in that trick doubles or triples with the kinds of turn I pull off so the force I have to deal with is immense. When I first tried it the force just flung me out of whack and I smacked straight into a brick wall" Twisted laughed at what was in actuality kind of a nasty story, but obviously Twisted found it funny.

"Now if that ain't something to learn from then you need to start paying more attention bruddah" Twisted chuckled even more, finishing with his drink he tossed it into the nearest bin, quite a good shot as well "All I'm saying is that if you keep your head in theory you ain't gonna be keeping your head for long when it comes to execution, I had the math of that trick worked out to the decimal but I couldn't handle what those numbers threw at me. Numbers and ideas are all well and good but you have to appreciate what they mean, when I started I could have told you the exact force that defines a G-force, but if you asked me what it felt like I would have had no clue how to define it and certainly no idea on how to deal with it." Twisted didn't know it but he was imparting knowledge. "When I came too after trying that trick, Spitfire was there. I gotta tell you as a Wonderbolts fan and after what had happened I was quite worried that I wad dead. She calmed me down eventually and asked me about what had happened, I guess that's where this journey all started." Twisted went quiet for a moment, reflecting on it all.

"When she found out how, or more specifically why I had my accident she hit me with the book I was reading. She then pretty much told me what I'm telling you now...but with more shouting" he laughed again. "There's no sure bet when it comes to this job, but there are smart bets and I take not concussing yourself so bad you have a 2 month long relationship with some mashed patatoes as a pretty smart bet" Twisted went quiet once more, but this time out of embarrassment before turning his head to look at Raijin while they continued walking. "What about you? you got that big ol Wonderbolt dream?" He asked with a smile.

Raijin was still impressed with the Wonderbolt's little performance. What was going on with his mind right now? The monochromatic maze that Twisted Mix created looped over and over again. It was no doubt he was going to store this image forever in his brain. The pegasus kept his eyes up in the skies and imagine the Wonderbolt was still up there recreating the maze, but he manage to snap himself back to reality after a flock of birds ran over his view. Thankfully they came just in time for him to catch Twisted Mix gesture with his head and he quickly gather his belongings before following him out of the garden area. Hearing the pegasus's tale of coming to a brick wall made him cringe and an eye twitch. The Wonderbolt crashed into a brick wall with enough force to put him into a coma for a few months? He wasn't sure what to say and he doubt he did have anything to say.

Twisted's past injury just made him think about the trick he was trying to pull earlier. Did he really prepare for it? He did prepare for it, but it was only in his head. He should also mention he didn't exactly attempt it before either. Raijin did little test runs, but none of them were serious and comparing to his tree crash to the brick wall...yeah they were way off the charts. All the words that the Wonderbolt spoke were true. He may know all the numbers, but when it came to the real thing what if his body wasn't ready for what it takes? Raijin once again thought back to earlier when he lost control of his dive. 'To think today's the day I start questioning my own methods and all it took was another pony's words, a Wonderbolt to be exact.' He had no doubt of Twisted's words, especially given his status in Equestria.

He could help but let out a little laugh hearing how Spitfire told him those exact words in her own loud way. If he had been in his hooves, Raijin would probably be sweating and shaking in his hooves just by being shouted by the Captain of the Wonderbolts. Just thinking about made some of the fur on his back stand up. 'Yeah, I guess I'll have to change little by little... Staring with here and then...here.' The pegasus took some time to gather his thoughts, but came to after a certain question caught his attention. "What about you? you got that big ol Wonderbolt dream?" That question right there made him smile and feel excited deep down. "Yeah, I would like to join the Wonderbolts one day, but after today I see I still have a long ways to go. Getting accepted into the Wonderbolts is kind of a dream of mines since I was a little colt and I know I'm not the only pegasus out there." He was surprised he didn't get all excited and raise his voice. He was glad he was able to speak his words smoothly and calmly. "So any other advice you would like to give? I mean, I'm sure you also get questions like this, but what do I do to get consideration into the academy? Actually...no don't tell me, I'll have to find out myself." He chuckled and glance around as he avoided a small crack on the cobblestone street that could had caused a little accident.

Twisted sort of expected that sort of answer from a fan of this level, nopony loved the Wonderbolts this much unless they were aspiring to be one themselves. He felt for the kid, he remembered being in much the same sort of situation when he was trying to get into the group. It was not a dream that wasn't encouraged but it was certainly a dream that felt lofty, those that wanted to become Wonderbolts were like those that wanted to be famous musicians. As one of those kids that had made it as far as he had dreamed, Twisted felt it only right to do as much as he could to help someone with that dream and give them more than he got. Despite him wanting it to be a surprise, Twisted thought he should tell Raijin at least something.

"The academy is a weird place, you go there for two stages really. The first is apply and accept, which is where the Wonderbolts train your skills as a pegasi but just that. It's great for opening up opportunities, a lot of famous racers have spent some summers at the academy honing their skills. The second stage is invitational, this is the big leagues where you are trained at an above military grade level. This is the one where you have a real shot of being a Wonderbolt, a lot of Royal Guards do this course so they can earn promotions and such."

Twisted was quite formal in his explanation, he'd been told if he made more jokes that he'd be used as the survival dummy for the high rescue fall training. He'd been bumped up to instructor a few weeks back so he didn't want to suffer that kind of humiliation...again.

"But hey, I'll keep an eye out for your application" Twisted smirked with a wink.

Yep, Raijin was not the only pegasus who dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt. It was everypony's dream of becoming one of the elite flyers in all of Equestria! Okay, maybe not everypony. He was mainly referring more towards the pegasi and okay, maybe not all pegasi dreams to be a Wonderbolt, but that's besides the point. He is sure there are hundreds of pegasi who wants to be like Twisted Mix and he was one of them. There is no doubt what to expect if one gets accepted into the academy and Twisted only prove that confirmation. First thing Raijin plans to start doing is training training his body. Like he said before, Twisted was right, there's more to it then just knowledge. He needed experience and he needed to actually try things out for himself than letting his brain create simulations. After today is over he will have to change his schedule, or recreate his entire schedule. Raijin could probably start training as early as tomorrow morning.

As much as he wanted to find out for himself, he was glad Twisted Mix told him something. He need to submit a application before anything. Was it an immediate acceptance? No, that can't be right. If they accepted every application that came in their way then there would be hundreds of pegasi inside the Wonderbolts Academy. Raijin didn't think they would just randomly accept any everyday ordinary pegasus. 'An application huh...?' The yellow pony thought to himself. 'So it's almost like filling out a job application where you tell a little about yourself and your skills. Hmm..' Raijin continued thinking to himself. In the end he figure this wouldn't be any ordinary application. No, he needed things that would at least grasp even a little bit of their attention. Unfortunately he doesn't think he has done anything too spectacular within these few months. The past few months has been rather, boring, so to speak. Regardless, he'll have to see what he can do later. There was nothing he could do at this moment anyways and he definitely didn't want to leave suddenly, especially when he's with a Wonderbolt himself! "Thanks, I'll be sure to send one in when I'm ready." When being the big word. "What is it like working with the others? What are they like?" He was referring to Twisted's teammates.

As the two walked, Twisted more and more felt he had made a new friend. Yes he was a fan and yes he may have been a very keen one at that but a nice guy was a nice guy, hopefully if they were friend, Raijin would get over the fact that Twisted was a Wonderbolt. Well that was the hope, Spitfire had told him that fans were ponies too as he used to be scared of what might happen...still not allowed to date one however.

"Working with the team? Eh it sorta went in stages...wow I've talked a lot about stages today" He laughed "At first its surreal, I mean you're like 'wow, I'm a Wonderbolt, working with THE Wonderbolts" He did some dramatics waves with his wings as he spoke. "After awhile the workload hits you like a bit of a brick wall and you realize that, oh no I'm a Wonderbolt" Twisted chuckled. "But it's bad, you become a part of a team. We're as close as you could be and we'd do anything. You'd think we'd be forced to be friends or something but because you're chosen it pretty much guarantees you're gonna be close, we hang out, play pranks on each other and just generally mess about" He laughed again as he recalled some of the stuff that had happened since he had been there. "At first they gave me a little bit of a hard time since I was the newbie, but after awhile we all just laughed at put Spitfire's hoof in warm water when she was sleeping" He stopped to laugh quite a bit at that before wiping the tear from his eye. "But nah its pretty great, maybe one day you'll be putting my hoof in warm water...three times a week" He sighed as he relived that one troublesome month.

Raijin's attention once again went over to Twisted Mix, his ears perking up slightly as he listen to the Wonderbolt. He couldn't help but chuckle after seeing Twisted dramatically wave his wings around. He could imagine himself being like that if he ever makes it into the team. Finding the whole scene to be interesting, he went as far as to create a rough scenario of himself receiving the news that he made it into the team. Let's just say everything starts with the gears in his head stop turning before they start creaking, slowly grinding, mouth gaping, and honestly he could even faint from the news. It may not very stallion-like, but who cares! He got into the Wonderbolts! Yeah that's how he could see happen to him. The pegasus could create other scenarios, but he drop the thought just simply laugh in the end.

Other than the workload, which Twisted Mix made it very convincing that it was bad, everything the Wonderbolt said after sounded like it was worth it. Friends. That's a nice word, but sadly this pony isn't too well adept in that area. Raijin was still very surprise that he is talking so well in front of this pegasus, that is, he would be if he knew. Maybe by the end of the day he'll notice and cause his mind to shatter, but until then his brain can continue to process in peace. If everything goes like what he wanted, in the end he might make it into the team and make some friends? This pegasus definitely needs to step it up. He plans on it! Raijin laugh at first when Twisted spoke about playing pranks on each other, but after hearing the part where they prank Spitfire he almost cringed. Given some information he's heard from ponies and other sources, well...he didn't think the prank ended up so well. "Did you guys really did that to Spitfire?" He couldn't imagine what happened after that, but it couldn't be anything but good right? He would expect someone to awake finding themselves tied upside-down to a flag pole for pulling a stunt like that, especially when the pony is the captain of the Wonderbolts. He will admit that does sound a little funny, at least until you get caught anyways.

As for pranking with warm water, "Three times a week? That's what happened to you when you first go in? Wow sounds like everyone is having a blast, minus the work and being on the end of the prank." Raijin held a small grin on his face. Oh what the hay, Raijin's sure even if he was the one at the end, he would still laugh in the end. Everything spoken by Twisted Mix just added more to his drive and maybe, just maybe, one of these days he'll be closer towards his dream. "So what about you? Other than flying and working in the team, you have any hobbies? You know, things you do for fun." He was actually trying to get to know this pony better, something he does not do very often, if any at all. He wasn't sure why, but he had a little feeling maybe he could become friends with the Wonderbol-no, with Twisted Mix, in the end. Of course he still has to get over the fact that he was a Wonderbolt and with given time he's sure he'll be able to.

Twisted chuckled at his memories of the first few weeks in the Wonderbolts, it felt like being back at school or something. The Wonderbolts were the peak of what could be achieved in flying, there was no great step to take. By reaching this point each member of the Wonderbolts have reached their peak and now had the freedom to enjoy it, which would explain why they were all such fun loving adrenaline junkies. It took some getting used to though, years of pure work that lead to pretty much one of the best jobs in the world was a little jarring. Not that still wasn't hard work but it was a pay off of even more hard work and proving yourself, the pay off was just so unbelievable.

"Hobbies...wow... you know I've not had a hobby in 16 years" Twisted chuckled again at the sheer thought of it all. "In a couple months things should settle out and I may have more free time...I guess I got to find myself a hobby...well I always wondered what macrame was." He laughed.

The reason he would have more free time was, when a new member joins the team they must make sure they are all perfectly in synch. This is done by an extremely rigorous training regime that lasts around 8 or so months to work the team so much that they are perfect together. Twisted had been on the team for around 6 months now so the end of the training was in site, or least the intensity of it all. He hadn't had time to think ahead until now so what he was going to do was an interesting thought, maybe he could right a book about his journey?

"Hm, actually now that I think about it, after all the training we're probably gonna start doing more shows. There's the grand galloping gala and various other shows around Equestria, gotta show off the new talent you know?" Twisted smirked, he was the new talent, he still couldn't get over that. "If you want I could get you tickets to some events? Might be a good learning experience or whatever" Twisted always was the generous sort, even when he maybe shouldn't have been.

Wow were the Wonderbolts that busy, but if he thought about it, maybe it was natural. Training regiments to keep in shape, practicing with the team to be in sync, watching the newbies, and other work is all to be expected if one was to make the team. One of his hobbies involved him sitting somewhere quiet and read, so would he be able to do that? Chances for that would be slim to none. Hay, he probably wouldn't even be able to take a half an hours before he goes to bed. If everything is like what Twisted Mix describes them to be, than he will most likely be exhausted by the end of the day. Would he sacrifice the things he enjoys doing just to make it into the academy? The answer is simple, yes, yes he would. Giving up the second thing he love to do just so he could be given a chance to fly with the Wonderbolts? Sure, why not!? Raijin loves being in the skies more than stuffing his head in text!

"Macrame? Are you talking about thing where you create things with knots?" Macrame? In all honestly Raijin was expecting something more than creating patterns with what...rope like materials? Maybe something a little more fun and exciting in a way. Don't get him wrong there is nothing wrong in that, it's just that he thought the Wonderbolt's hobby might turn out to be something more fun and exciting. He never did macrame before so who was he to judge whether or not it was fun. "What made you think of that?" He was curious to know, but all that curiosity disappeared after Twisted offered to get him some tickets come and watch the Wonderbolts perform. He was really excited and wanted to accept the offer right away, but another part of him held him back. Surprisingly he was not brimming with excitement or jumping around like a little pony inside a toy store. "Oh wow, I'm not sure what to say honestly. I would accept, but a part of me wants to refuse and get the tickets myself. How often do you give tickets away?" Raijin found himself chuckling a bit. He was really considering in accepting Twisted's offer and going to their shows would provide him with more experience in the future.

Twisted realized that macrame was not what he thought it was, he had to stop for a moment to rethink his future plans. Shrugging and continuing along the path, Twisted shook his head at how stupid he must have sounded saying he wanted to do macrame.

"Actually I thought macrame was cake making...I guess that's just baking. I never really read up on anything other than flying." Chuckling a little, Twisted continued walking along with Raijin, although he came to a stop when his new companion spoke about possibly not accepting the gift.

"Well I can respect that I guess, but dude I know that if I'd been offered that a few years ago I'd have exploded."

Twisted sprung his wings out to simulate the whole 'explosion' motif, chuckling at his youth...his youth?! Darn it, ever since he'd gotten his dream job, Twisted was feeling older and older. Never having been on for responsibility or work, Twisted was now having to deal with the idea of growing up.

"I've never really given any tickets out, not met anyone who might want them. Then again recently the only ponies I've been hanging out with would be performing the show. But the offer stands if you want." Twisted smiled sincerely.

How did the Wonderbolt get macrame mixed up with baking he would never know. "I read books, but never anything about macrame. I don't think I have the patience to sit there making knots with rope." The pegasus found himself chuckling as he imagine himself sitting in one location for countless of hours trying to create something applaudable. "I do believe you can create cake with rope if you get into macrame, though I'm not sure if that that would consider to be baking." He give the idea of making inedible bakery with rope and ended up shrugging within himself. What was the point of creating food when you can't eat them, especially with rope? Raijin have seen food props before, like in some food establishments, and they actually look like the food. Now the making them with rope is rather unappetizing, but then again it might look good in somepony's home.

As much as he would love not really to talk about making food with macrame he was glad his thought process got interrupted as a ticket barged into his mind. What were they talking about earlier? Oh yeah, how could he forget? Twisted Mix offered him tickets to see their next show! Finding the white pegasus's simulation to be amusing he chuckled. "I'm surprised I haven't exploded. I was actually expecting myself to do that right when you mention giving me tickets." Would he really explode if somepony from the Wonderbolts offered him a ticket to their show. He wouldn't literally explode, just very very excited, but you get the idea. The main question is, what was he to do now? Raijin's thoughts started to conflicted with one another on whether or not he should except the Wonderbolt's offer. Sure he would love to buy the tickets himself, but would it be rude refuse the pegasus's generous offer? 'Maybe just this once? He says he's never really given out tickets...wait, what if he's testing me?! Testing me? About what? Okay I...need to calm down...' Perhaps he was still too excited at his sudden encounter with a Wonderbolt to make a decision and maybe he was over exaggerating things. Yeah, he's feeling both. "Um maybe I'll take your offer on that after all, but in exchange if there's something I can do for you let me know." This is the thought he came up with after he manage to suppress his mixed emotions. It would be good for him to see more of his favorite team in action and take mental notes through his eyes.

Twisted wasn't really paying attention to Raijin when he mentioned cake and continued talking about macrame, he didn't seem to get that it was more of a joke that anything but he could understand being awkward in this situation. A few years ago if Twisted were in Raijin's position he would struggle to maintain any sort of composure. As they walked along, Twisted yawned slightly, all this time on the ground walking was getting boring and frankly tiring weirdly. He wanted to get up in the air and fly around..wait a minute, why couldn't he? After all Raijin was a pegasus as well, in fact that gave Twisted an idea that brought a smirk to his face.

"Hey...wanna race!?" Twisted did a little hop and turned in mid air, skidding on the ground so that he was in front of Raijin facing him.

"I know what you're thinking, pointless right? But I'm not the fastest Wonderbolt, and I'm full of milkshake." Twisted chuckled. "Think you could take me in a one on one race, hey now there's an idea!" Twisted exclaimed, eyes going wide slightly in excitement. "IF you win, I'll bring you backstage to meet the rest of the team. If I win you buy me a milkshake whenever I'm in town, sound like a deal?" He grinned excitedly, his energy levels seemingly continuing to rise from his pure palpable thrill seeking nature.

Twisted was hovering just of the ground at this point, seems he was ready and rearing to go already. Looking around he wondered what would be a good route to take for a race, sadly he didn't know the layout of the town and didn't have a map of any sort either. Oh what a pain, what would be a good race? Around the town maybe? Well that would be a short race but at the same time he didn't want to get lost due to his lack of familiarity with the out skirting areas around the town.

"Um...where could we actually race?" He asked with a sheepish grin, plopping back down onto the ground slightly embarrassed.

Raijin thought long and hard about what they could do. They had a pretty eventful day, at least from his perspective. Since morning, even though he failed his stunt, and up until now, everything went so great! This is turning out to be the best day in his life! Maybe he already mentioned that, but there’s nothing wrong saying it a second time, or maybe a third time. Perhaps they could visit other stores stationed around the quaint town, like the building that resembles a jester hat. Oh right, that’s the joke shop right? He thought it might be cool to check out the shop and have a little fun with all the gadgets the establishment sells. There’s also the bowling alley that he’s never been to before and the costume shop could be something to look at too. “Hey…wanna race?!” Racing?! That’s idea sound awesome!

Lost in thought, Raijin didn’t seem to snap out of it until a certain pegasus’s face came right into view. ‘Yeah! Maybe I can ask him if he wants to-Wait a minute…’ The yellow Pegasus stopped in his tracks as he tried to process what just happened. Did the Wonderbolt just ask him if he wanted to race? The gears inside his mind creaked and had troubles working. He couldn’t believe if he heard right and before he could ask Twisted spoke about the conditions of the race. If he beats the Wonderbolt, if, he gets to meet the other members of the team backstage. If he loses to Twisted, he buys him a milkshake whenever he comes to Ponyville. Raijin could see excitement slowly building up from the Wonderbolt, to the point of leaking out. As for him, well, he was dumbfounded. At this point he wanted to smack himself to see if he was actually dreaming.

Time stood still for the pegasus and only when the stack of books, carried on his back, fell to the ground did time resume. Raijin blinked a few times and shook his head. He was also very excited and it showed through the large grin on his face. “Oh you’re so on!” He loves flying and what’s better than flying WITH a Wonderbolt!? Nothing that's what! Okay, maybe meeting the other members of the team, but this was just as great. Now the question is where should they start. Twisted was still new to Ponyville, so nothing complicated should be mentioned and he would never take advantage of other ponies. “We can start in the park and make a lap around Ponyville?” That sounded better, but let’s see if he can’t add a little something to their race so it wouldn’t be that short. “What do you stay about adding in a littler something extra? I was thinking of setting up two flags on the ground and have some clouds around for a simple obstacle course. We’ll start in the park, make a lap around Ponyville, come back into the park, swoop in between the flags, fly up to swirl left and right of the clouds, without touching the clouds of course, and finally fly back down towards the flag.” By the time he finished, Raijin was out of breath. He was just so excited that he almost forgot to inhale. “So how does that sound? Nothing to complicated right?”

Twisted was getting further excited about the idea of an obstacle course to tackle, it was like the academy only not so much work and...well it was a village. Twisted wasn't sure what he could do to help, however heading to the park seemed like a good idea.

"Okay then here's the plan, you go prepare the obstacle course and we'll meet in the park and then like you said, its oooon!!" He grinned before blasting off into the sky.

While Raijin was preparing the obstacle course, Twisted had landed in the park with an earth shattering thud. He'd caused a bit of a stir as ponies currently lounging in the park who stared at the black and white pony with the big grin on his face, some even recognized him as a wonderbolt and there were some hushed gasps. Looking around, Twisted waved at some of the ponies. Looking around with a smile, Twisted was gaining more and more appreciation for this town.

Hrm, this park looks nice enough but it didn't really have a RACE quality about it. He felt that if Raijin was kind enough to set up an obstacle course that he should do something, looking around to see what he could do he suddenly got a twinkle in his eye and rocketed off again headed toward the market. It was only a few moments later that he caused many park goers to jump a second time as he landed with a thud, holding bags of various supplies and provisions. This was enough to spark some curiously in the ponies and made a few head over and ask what it was he was doing.

"Glad you asked ladies and gentlecolts, my name is Twisted Mix and I am a wonderbolt!" He said excitedly, some gasped as they blieved him and others chuckled at the notion that this runt was a wonderbolt. "I'm about to have a race with someone from Ponyville but we don't really have a race feel going on around here, SO what we're going to do is hold the first ever...and probably only! PONYVILLE RACE DAY CHALLENGE!!" Twisted just oozed excitement and it spread because he got a cheer from the ponies around him, that or they simply didn't need much convincing.

In no time at all the place was looking totally different, there were bleachers and flags with banners all over. There was a drinks table and warm up space, it was pretty incredible how quickly the town had rallied to put on an event that Twisted had totally just made up. Already ponies were challenging each other to races, Earth pony, Unicorn and Pegasi alike. By the time Raijin arrived half the town was there enjoying each other, he'd find an excited Twisted who seemed to be an the epicenter of it all.
