Motivation: At this stage in Grovuls complicated life his main motivation is to seek Horrorshow's approval (in both the same fashion that a son seeks a fathers approval and the way that one seeks the approval of his peers), But aside from that Grovul also seeks to answer the questions of his past like why was he left to fend for himself in the factory, who were his real parents, what dose the key around his neck belong to, questions he fears may never be answered.
Strengths: Grovul spent the first years of his life playing with and tinkering with the left overs of the Clock factory where he lived. over time he developed a keen understanding of mechanics and clock motions that developed into a talent for all things Clock work. Besides that he is an extremely patent pup able to wait in one place doing nothing for hours on end (this does not mean it does not bother him to do so). He is also extremely trust worthy and well always do his best to stay on everyponies good side.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Grovul after spending so much time in solitary confinement struggles a lot with the concepts of identity, ownership, and dishonesty. Being the only living creature in his life before Horrorshow found him in the clock factory Grovul never really formed a concept of self making it hard for him to understand and process his own emotions and opinions. During his time at the factory Grovul had free range of the complex able to take and use whatever he wanted. Now living with Horrorshow and meeting new ponies the concept of ownership is hard for him to fully understand leading to some troublesome predicaments. finally Grovul is a good dog at heart and is quite ignorant to the ways of the world wile sometimes his knack for honesty is a good thing he is literally incapable of lying or being manipulative even for the greater good.
Fears: Grovul's greatest fear is being stuck all alone again like his time in the clock factory, as well as Horrorshow one day having a real family and abandoning him because of the obvious difference in race.
Personality: Like i said before Grovul is a deeply conflicted individual he spent the first few years of his life alone in a abandoned clock factory with now pony to talk to besides the wind up toy replicas of himself that he would build from the factories left overs. This has caused him to develop a lust for social interactions with others and a constant fear of being unwanted. He also has a vary complicated relationship with Horrorshow. Grovul sees him as a fatherly figure, a friend and a brother. like wise Horrorshow tries to be a good father figure but also isn't as strict with Grovul as he probably should be but the diamond dog pup still brings out the more soft and responsible side he didn't even know that he had. Grouval is also of a vary quiet and decisive nature but still loves to engage in conversation with others preferring the roll of listener rather then the dominant speaker.
History/Background: No pony really knows much about Grovul's past not even Grovul his earliest memory is him waking up alone on the factory ground floor. When Horrorshow found him one day in the abandoned clock factory on the road between Trottingham and Lospegasus Grovul could barely speak and had nothing but a wrench and a piece of twine raped around his neck with a large iron key at the end. For the past 6 months Horrorshow has done his best to tutor Grovul in english and how to behave in public and has grown vary attached to the Diamond dog orphan even to the point in certain situations he has referred to himself as Grovuls adoptive father. Like wise after a traumatic event where Horrorshow had to choses between performing in a village that refused to welcome a Diamond dog into there territory and leaving Grovul on the outskirts of town for a night Grovul started referring to Horrorshow as Papa Horrorshow convinced that the show pony was more worthy of the title then the parents who abandoned him years ago
