The moment Mira received her snow cone, she threw up her illusion of herself, letting the real her enjoy the frozen treat while the illusion self scarfed it down. She took her time, enjoying the flavors, which started as a strong grape taste, then transitioned into watermelon. She was slowly munching on the ice, when the sounds of one suffering from the most common ailment to those who enjoyed frozen treats coming from the jigsaw pony.

"b-b-b-braaaaaaain freeeeeze"

Mira and the illusion both looked up at that moment, just in time to see the pony start transforming into the Master of Trickery and Chaos. Mira had been in Canterlot when Discord had been released from his prison, and had only heard the stories of the trickery he had created here in Ponyville. To her, he was not an evil villain, he was just a bored trickster, like her, albeit extremely powerful. He simply wanted to inject a bit more fun into the humdrum life of the ponies, by using some chaos to spread the fun. He was a master of illusion and transformation magic, and she had always secretly wished to meet him and have a conversation about tricks and bringing fun to ponies who needed it. Now, actually meeting him, she didn't know what to say. Then her mind started again, and she dispersed her illusion to actually show up. Looking at the owner of the shop, she started giggling and rapidly talking.

"So...this is quite the welcome to town, is it not? The first hour of your grand opening, and you have had your store trashed, cleaned and repaired, and had a powerful force of chaos as one of your first customers." Mira collapsed laughing. "That's just awesome, in my personal opinion." She looked upside down at the draconequus. "Nice to meet you Discord!" She continued laughing as she waited for the other ponies to react.

    Frostling's jaw was on the ground. The snowcone he'd been about to finished lay on the floor in a melting puddle. A shame too, after everything had been so nicely cleaned! His emerald eyes were locked on the abomination before him, frozen in form. What in the world was that!?

    When Mira greeted this strangely mismatched creature, he seemed to dissolve. The male pony blinked, once- twice- thrice! His head slowly tilted and his mouth began to close, slowly. Everything ran through his head like gears and cogs of a watch, processing all the information that had been fed to him from the visage before him. He shook his head, white mane flailing.

    "Er-- Uhm. Discord, right?" He said, drawing the words out. He wasn't really sure what to think. He wasn't from Ponyville, so he had no idea whom this stranger was. "Forgive me but, ... Who- W-what... What are you?" He lifted a hoof and pointed it at Discord, eyes narrowing.

Amethyst stopped eating her snow cone long enough to look up at the strange creature before her. She stared for a good long moment before slowly bringing the snow cone up to her lips and finishing it off without taking her eyes away from the odd creature. When the cone was empty, the black mare launched the empty cone across the room in a lazy arch, though she didn't bother to see where it landed. She just sort of stared blankly at Discord for a few moments, the information processing in her poor, feeble brain.

She hesitantly stepped towards him, her head tilted at an awkward angle as if she were studying some sort of fine art. The previously chipper pony was now silent for once as she attempted to comprehend what exactly it was that was in front of her. No pony ever said that she was the sharpest tool in the shed, and that much was painfully obvious as she inched her way towards the mismatched creature before her with unblinking eyes that were full of curiosity and wonder.

With slow and deliberate care, she cautiously poked Discord in the side with a hoof, and yanked her limb back as if she had touched a burning hot coal. It seemed enough to prove to her that she wasn't just seeing things. Her face screwed up in a strange sort of way, her brows furrowing and her ears going back. The poke was enough to sort of click that thought into her mind that the creature in front of her was indeed Discord, the King of Chaos, as it were. She was under the impression that he was only just a story to frighten young fillies with.

Well, to say that she over-reacted was an understatement. When she lowered her hoof, she suddenly bolted out the door as fast as her four hooves would carry her. She screamed the whole way outside, down the street, and all the way through the market to the edge of the residential section, which is were the clumsy mare slammed practically face-first into a wooden sign, in an almost comedic manner. Unfortunately, along with a face full of splinters, she had also managed to knock herself out in the process. Most of the towns' residents were already used to her ridiculous antics, and left it alone for the most part.
