As they walked toward the clinic together, Mad Cap didn't seem sad, of course she looked worried, but not sad. There were no tears in her eyes, no quivering of lips, just a general look in her eyes of worry and that was it. It was safe to assume that Quip had broken bones before, maybe she was simply used to it? Regardless, she was uncharacteristically quiet, and didn't have that skip in her step that she usually walked with. It was noticeable, in her time with her, Arabesque would immediately notice the difference.
Upon entering the clinic, she looked around for a moment, however this time she was not admiring the scenery as she had done with the previous buildings, no instead she was simply looking for the staff that would help Quip. Seeing the two sat and the main desk, not caring about their surprise at seeing her or Quip. She walked over toward the desk along with Arabesque, keeping quiet most of the time, just because she couldn't help the situation, and now was not the time for needless chatter.
Her eyes turned to the newcomer as he descended the stairs, she raised an eyebrow slightly, it was another stag, and despite her lack of attraction to the species, she had to admit that this one was a little cute. She turned to face the stag, and cracked a very small smile when he signaled them to walk down the corridor with him. As they walked, Mad Cap decided to let her mind wander, specifically to the differences between the hospitals/clinics in Deerham and the ones in Equestia. Being a psycho therapist, psychologist and part time neuro-scientist, Mad Cap spent a lot of time in hospitals during her youth, and because her parents were in the same line of work, she was pretty much raised in medical buildings.
Anyway, When they arrived in the room and Quip was placed on the bed, Mad Cap moved to the side of the bed and sat by it. She looked to the stag with a relieved look, when he said he would help. Frankly Quip didn;t entirely need the help, years of multiple bone breakages had left Quip's bones incredibly strong, so when they broke, they patched together pretty quickly. Still the idea of help and speeding his recovery was very nice, and she smiled in appreciation.
"I am sorry."
Mad Cap looked at Arabesque with a confused look for a moment, then quickly back to Quip, and laughed slightly.
"Oh..no its fine, Quip breaks a bone every month at least...It's rare that he breaks all of them...but its happened before" She gently and lovingly stroke the forehead of his mask. "Sometimes accidents happen" She sighed
"Um, look Arabesque I need to go and use the little Fillie's room, do you mind staying by Quip's side for me? I'd really appreciate it"
Mad Cap had to dash out of the room, she had drunk quite a lot during her meal with Arabesque and had only just realized that she needed to go quite badly. So Arabesque was left with Quip, his bones broken, in hospital, on their own, it helped that Quip was unconscious though.
"Uhhhhh...what...happened"[/color] Came a groan from the totally conscious Quip.
