Ambience - Beach Lounge Mix
Character - Silver Wings, AKA Rosie
The lock was locked, and the Pegasus' nose nudged turned up to peer at the sign on her door. 'Closed'. Well, it had been an .. off, day. First, Brisk had gotten hurt again, then one of her employees had messaged her with news that she was sick, and on top of that she'd gotten two big orders in the span of three hours.
Sighing, she would normally just fly home but today she wasn't feeling it. Rosie made her way into the street, mingling with the crowd that flowed and ebbed with time. Right now dusk was upon them, and the sun was making its slow descent to sleep for the night while her sister moon was readying to wake up. Her hooves clopped slowly on the cobblestone streets, eyes occasionally glancing at something in a window or stopping to peruse a vender's wares. Multiple males paid attention to her, complimenting her on her looks.
This made her feel better, of course, but the day had just been so much of a downer that--
"Coming through!" SPLASH! Rosie yelped as a wave of muddy water splashed all over her; surely a product of the past two days of rain. The stallions looked over their shoulders, apologizing frantically and that they had to get home fast. The pegasus glared after them, shook herself a bit and kept walking forward.
Her mane a mess despite trying to fix it, she immediately headed for home, face flaming as everypony around her seemed to whisper about how she looked. Her insecurities flared and she picked up the pace before beginning to trot, and then to run, not looking where she was going.
Suddenly she smacked into somepony, yelping as she bowled them over and landed painfully on her side,
"Oh do forgive me! I'm terribly sorry, I should have been looking where I was going! Oh, do tell me you're all right, please! Do you need a doctor?!"
