Sprocket walked into the dim light of the town spuare, it was to early for the residence of Ponyville to begin their morning rituals. She felt the soft dew cover grass beneath her hooves, it sent a chill down her spin almost like ecstasy. A large brown saddle bag was slung over her flank, swaying as she walked. The items that were gathered in side chimed softly together. The earth pony slowed her pace as she tried not to awake the sleeping ponies. She slipped through an aleyway which allowed her to avoid the heavily populated part of town. Sprocket finally came to a stop near the town hall and rested against the wall.
The pony brushed sleep from her eyes and yawned 'Why did I avoid sleeping again, I won't be much help to anyone if I can't concentrate long enough'. She extracted a bottle from her bag and breathed in the fumes of hot coffee. Her tounge ran across her dried lips as she poured herself a cup. The steaming brew feild the air with the delicouse sent of coffee beans. As Sprocket drank from her cup she glanced around at the empty street wondering where Flame was 'He has about 5 minutes for me to Finish my drink before I head off'.
The warm liqied seemed to have some effect on Sprocket's ragged state. She breathed out into the cool night air, a cloud of condensed mist escaped her lungs. She smiled as a thought ran through her head 'I am finnaly going to find Storm, it's has been a lonely time without him. I have had to run the store by myself and the fact that after all these years I haven't loved anyone like I loved him'. This fact was true, Sprocket had been aproched by a few ponies but she had just pushed them aside with out a thought so she could try to fix her life.
The sun began to peek over the mountains in the distance as Sprocket emptyed the last of her coffee down her throught. She washed out the cup and placed back in her bag with the coffee. Giving one last look around she felt a twinge of pain emotionally 'Well I guess Flame isn't coming then'. She stood up, slung her saddle bag back on and started to do up the buckles.
