Motivation: Cloud Chaser loves flying, especially with other pegasi. It has emotional relevance to her because her she learned from her father, who also loved flying more than anything. However, her parents only allowed her and her sister to practice under supervision and only very close to the ground near the house. One night when the rest of her family was asleep, she snuck out to fly. She flew straight up as high as she could go, she wanted to touch the stars. When she couldn't fly any higher she let her body float back down to earth and collapsed on her back in the glass. Sweaty and out of breath, she stared up at the sky. In that a moment a shooting star blasted across the sky and at the same time her cutie mark appeared. Whenever she feels down, she goes for a fly and it clears her head. She still hasn't figured out how that fits in with her special talent but she's trying.

Overall Persona: Cloud Chaser recently moved out of her parents house in Cloudsdale and into an apartment in her hometown of Ponyville due to a falling out with her family, specifically her sister and mother. She had never really got along with people from Cloudsdale and when her family decided to move a few years back she was less than thilled. Her sister and mother however were overjoyed. Cloud Chaser didn't fit in with the other Pegasi, and decided to drop out of school. Her mother was furious and kicked her out of the house. Unbeknownst to her mother or her sister, her father rented her an apartment down in Ponyville until she could get on her own feet. However, though she's happy to be back in Ponyville, she wants more than anything to make up with her mother and sister. The whole family had always been really close, but when they moved to Cloudsdale, Cloud Chaser when through some rough times and started to isolate herself. Her sister didn't understand which only made Cloud Chaser feel more alone. The night she left her mother called her a disappointment and asked "Why can't you be normal, like your sister?" That was the last straw and Cloud Chaser packed the essentials and left. The day after, her father found her on a patch of cloud a few miles away. He told her he would pay for an apartment for her in Ponyville until she could find a job to pay for it herself.
Cloud Chaser is a very friendly and outgoing pony and she loves to make new friends and hang out. She doesn't like to be alone and forms really tight bonds with people. She loves exploring and excitement and doesn't always put safety before fun. She's very loyal and will defend her friends and her beliefs, but is very slow to change her mind. Most of all she just wants to be surrounded by people who care about her and to have a good time.
