Likes: Making music and seeing other ponies come together over his music. He just loves seeing other ponies come together in friendship and love because of his music. Studying the ancient magic of the stars and watching constellations. He also loves making friends with everypony.

Dislikes: Seren dislikes anypony who hates music, he sees them as just plain mean people. That's obviously not correct. Seren also dislikes the misjudgement of magic. He sees magic as a way to peace and serenity, but if people use it for the wrong means Seren just can't stand it. The last thing Seren dislikes is seeing his friends sad, after having enough sadness in his life he thinks that there's no reason for anyone else to be unhappy.

Motivation: Seren's motivation is to finally prove himself to be amazing at magic. He tries his best to master star magic in order to show all of Equestria that even an orphan can become something great. His gift in star magic is where his cutie mark came from.

Strengths: Seren's greatest strengths are his gift in magic and music. But he also has a gift no one thinks a rough and tough orphan could have. He always tries to be kind and show compassion, never allowing anyone to mess with his friends is his hidden strength. His magic is called star magic in which he uses the characteristics of the constellations to give himself certain attributes like a small boost in strength or the ability to run faster.

Flaws: Seren's flaw is that he always tries so hard to make everyone else happy instead of himself. He loves to see the joy in other people but doesn't really take time to give himself some joy. He also has the flaw of believing that everypony who doesn't like music is just a really mean person. Sadly he has yet to change his view on this fact.

Fears: Seren has two prominent fears that he tries not to show. Seren is particularly afraid of the ocean, or any large body of water. He tried swimming once but after getting caught in a piece of kelp and almost drowning it wasn't something he wanted to try again. The other fear he has is large monsters which basically includes Manticores, Hydra, and Dragons.

Overall Persona: Seren is a rough and tough sort of pony most of the time. He prefers to keep his feelings inside whenever he's around other people that he doesn't know. But inside he truly is a seriously kind pony. Always looking out for others and making sure they're happy brings a smile to his face. Seren is quite normally always happy never wanting to be unhappy but of course he gets sorta sad sometimes when he can't do his best for his friends or himself.

Backstory: Seren and his sister where abandoned at a young age before they could even get to know who their parents were. Seren learned to grow up quickly and was soon taking care of himself and his sister. Street performances became Seren's way of making money and getting his sister nice things. But soon his petty magic wasn't cutting it so since he had no way of learning more at the time he switched to the only other thing he could do. Music became his life. Learning so much about music from other street performers he had seen and heard was what Seren needed to give his act the thing he had been missing. He learned fast and soon invented his own style which became a hit on the streets of Canterlot. He soon attracted attention, maybe to much attention. Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns took him in after Seren passed the entrance exam with flying colors. Now with more skill he only wishes to prove himself. Sneaking into the archives every night to learn his signature magic. Star magic has become his life. But when he was accepted into the school his sister disappeared. Now while balancing his street performances and magic school he must now fit in finding his sister. But even he knows that he cant do it alone. But who would help a street orphan, particularly an orphan with no money.
