Mane/Tail Color and Style: Streaky blonde, wavy and a little messy. His mane isn't very long and only reaches the top of his neck, but his fringe is very thick and long. His tail is quite long and almost reaches his back hooves.
Eye Color: Brown
Cutie Mark: A rolled up scroll tied with red string next to an old looking light brown book.
Other Scars/Markings: White freckles on the top of his nose and nose-bridge. Very light yellow feathered hooves.
Physique: Tall and well-built.

Likes: Arranging charity events with his father, fairytales and legends, creatures ponies hardly know anything about, studying hard, reading, and writing fantasy stories. He's obsessed with rare creatures, and absolutely loves learning more about them. He also enjoys telling jokes and stories, and absolutely LOVES coffee.
Dislikes: Staying up too late studying by accident. He also doesn't like getting pestered by his parents to focus more on his magic studies than on folklore and legend, even when he tries to explain that he wants to make a career out of it. Snobby ponies and insects annoy him as well.
Motivation: To travel Equestria and learn more and more about rare and mythological creatures.
Strengths: Great sense of humour, charming, respectful, friendly, dedicated to things he cares about. He's very smart, and is a very quick learner. Doesn't stress easily, and usually has an answer for everything. Very creative.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Loses track of time way too easily, can be forgetful and easily distracted. Can be a bit geeky and absorbed with his interests. He's very prone to headaches as well.. normally due to his weak eyesight, but also because he often thinks too much and too hard.
Fears: Failing his exams, never achieving his goals.
Backstory: Born and bred in Canterlot, Fable was raised in quite an unusual family. His father was (and still is) very passionate about his work as an auction pony, while his mother is more into writing and telling children's stories. When he was a foal, Fable was incredibly inspired by the fantasy stories his mum read him, and even helped her out with some of them. She was very impressed with his wild imagination. He would often put a lot of thought into the made-up characters and creatures, and would often wonder if and argue that they could very well exist. As he grew, he became more and more interested in creatures like dragons, sea serpents and basilisks, and went right into studying them. He spent a lot of his time in the folklore section of the library, reading up on myths and legends. When he was enrolled into Celestia's school, he took it as an opportunity to study them further as he was now given access to a library full of just the books and scrolls he needed. For his entrance exam he was asked to hatch an egg, which birthed a newborn amphithere. He named him Naja, and trained him to control his hypnotic gaze so he was completely tame. The two are now the best of friends, and are inseparable. Wherever Fable goes, Naja goes.
Overall Persona:
Fable is, basically, a mythology and zoology nut. He's almost always seen with some sort of fantasy folklore book, or a parchment and quill in front of his face as he writes down his many studies and stories. Naja is often flying around Fables' study, offering help and laughing at his utter weirdness while munching on bugs that fly into the dorm. He usually comes in great handy for Fable's studies, because he's such a rare and exotic creature.
Just like his mother, he loves telling stories out loud, which often bugs the heck out of Naja. He has a pretty decent relationship with both his parents as his mother loves how her stories have motivated him so and his father loves how clever he is. The two often organise charity events together, usually for auctions. Fable is very well organised and creative, which comes in great handy when setting up these events. His brothers live in Manehatten, but his baby sister Nursery Rhyme still lives with his parents. He loves her to pieces, but he really doesn't like being asked to babysit!
Despite his studious obsessions, Fable is a very charming and likeable pony, who enjoys using sarcasm and having a laugh - usually with a mug of coffee by his side. He's surprisingly very relaxed about his studies, even when other ponies say it's a waste of time. His interests often consume his daily lifestyle, but they don't consume his life, as he does care about socialising and making friends. He's a very likeable pony, and is often the object of many young mares' affections (must be the accent), but he's not too interested in being in a relationship. Most ponies would at first think of him as awkward and anti-social, but he is amazingly easy to get along with. He doesn't think he's that interesting, but he seems to attract quite a lot of interest. When he's not studying in his dorm or hanging out with friends, he's at the Canterlot Archives reading old forgotten books and scrolls, or the nearest coffee shop ordering his favourite cappuccino.
