Snowflake's apartment was small and sparsely furnished, but at the same time clean and reasonably warm. The albino quickly set about looking for ways to make her guests comfortable, heading for the fridge once she saw that Moogie had the task of getting Morning comfortable well in hand. She found herself stopping short; however, watching as Moogie gently nuzzled Morning and whispered something into her ear. The actions managed to be equally heart-warming and heart-rending and they possessed a certain purity that was not lost on Snowflake... There must surely have been a deep connection between these two ponies at one time or another... It was such a shame that Morning had apparently forgotten...
The albino snapped out of her reverie when Moogie looked up, meeting the gazes of herself and mike with uncertainty. Snowflake tried to look reassuring, but the only expression she could muster in that moment was one of deep concern, complete with slightly furrowed brow. Seeing her relax a bit, however, allowed Snowflake to do the same.
"Are you sure you don't at least want something to drink before you go?" 'Flake called after Moogie as the large pegasus turned to leave. "You've had a pretty rough day..."
But Moogie was clearly determined to get on with it, almost seeming not to hear Snowflake at all, and was gone within mere moments. With a dejected sigh, the albino moved to close the door and lock up. She could only hope Morning's friend would be OK...
She cocked a curious eyebrow as she trotted back over to Mike, having been listening to his description of the mare that was probably the Element of Laughter and now watching as he approached the sink. Her sober, attentive expression turned instantly to wide-eyed amazement as the Earth pony wet his hair, leaving it flat and straight, only for it to instantaneously resume its original poofy, highly stylised form a moment later.
"Wow!" she leaned forward in animated curiosity, the display having served to lighten the mood significantly. "And do all the ponies in your family have magic hair, or just the two of you?"
She shook her head.
"Nevermind, that's not important," she said quickly, realising that there were bigger crops to harvest. "Right now we need to make sure that Morning's alright, so I'm not leaving here at least until she wakes up."
She paused, trying to piece together some sort of a plan as she nosed open the fridge and pulled out a bottle of the local "Sweet Apple Acres" brand of apple juice.
"I'm not going to tell him about Morning yet," she said simply, looking around for some glasses and gesturing to the radio-pack adorning her side. "But I should at least put this thing to some use and tell him about your cousin. He'll probably dispatch the rest of the team to look for her, so that'll at least be progress..."
At that moment, she found what she was looking for and drew a glass out of a cupboard, setting it on the kitchen bench beside the bottle of apple juice.
"First things first though... My throat's incredibly dry..." she looked at Mike and smiled somewhat. "Would you like a drink?"
