It was just last night that he had heard a distress call from the necklace. His necklace contained the spirit of an ancestor within, and was usually quite talkative. But not too many days ago, did the ancestor stop communicating with Blue-berry.
It had worried him, but not as much as what he finally spoke last night. The words, the warning, it couldn't stop haunting Blue-berry throughout the night. He gained little sleep, thinking all night about this ominous warning the necklace gave him.
The ancestor sounded terrified, and had filled Blue-berry with much anxiety. He repeated the words over and over again, along with frightening images that Blue-berry imagined.
He was on his way to Canterlot, to speak with the Princesses help with this ominous warning. After sneaking in before, the guards either wanted to keep an eye on Blue-berry if he ever came back so they would issue a guard to follow, or to come with someone that was appreciated and allowed access into the castle.
During the road to Canterlot, Blue-berry still thought about this ominous warning.
Why did it effect his ancestor the way it does? Strangely the warning probably connected with his ancestors odd disappearance. As much as he wanted not to, he remembered the warning word for word:
'Help! Blue-berry...' The ancestor seemed to struggle, but why?
'G-Go find the..GAH' He yelped, as if he had a seriously bad headache
'Find the...Find the Ruin!' His tone was serious, and full of awe
'Find the source...or the family-' The voice of the ancestor suddenly made his last scream, and faded out and never made another sound.
It was strange the ancestor felt this, and had began to make this situation more important and necessary.
Blue-berry continued on toward Canterlot after catching a ride, increasing his speed within each minute, regardless of his stamina. He passed through the town, and swiftly made his way to the door, where guards stood.
They halted him, and asked why Blue-berry come here.
"I...*huff* Need to...*huff*...see the Princessess..*Huff*...it's important"
The guards shook their heads and told him he couldn't speak with the princesses because they had duties elsewhere.
Blue-berry stopped to think for a moment. Who els could help with his problem? The idea popped in...Ashti.
Why did Blue-berry trust Ashti with this? After few more friendly encounters with him, Blue-berry felt he was a good friend, and to the fact Ashti is smarter has convinced Blue-berry that he was well fit to help.
"Actually...*still huffing*... could I see Ashti?"
One of the guards quickly jabbed his head to the door, as the other guard opened it.
"Come, I shall bring you to him."
The guard took his time as he made progress to Ashti's room, while blue-berry followed. Every second felt like time wasted.
I really hope Ashti can help He pondered worryingly
