Creating A Character -Don't post app here!- *MUST READ*

Here is pretty much everything you need to create your MLP OC's! Make sure you've read the OC rules and all site info before you start making them.

There's a vast amount of cameo/background characters in the series who can easily be made into characters. Have a look!

If you find it difficult drawing your OC, there's a great pony makeable available on deviantArt!

If you want your OC to be accepted, then please use the biography below. The code is found under it, so scroll down to copy paste! It's there to be used, and if you don't use it how we have it written, there's less chance of your character being accepted first time! Remember that!

-General Stuff- [EXAMPLE]

Name: Full name here, please.

Nickname/Alias(es): Funny or cute nick names your pony has picked it from situations or friends. Anything they can be (or are) called as opposed to their names. This is optional.

Race: Pegasus, Unicorn, or Earth pony? It doesn't even have to be a pony! Please check the list of acceptable roleplay creatures for more possible creatures.

Gender: Male or Female?

Age: Foal [general child], Filly [female child], Colt [male child], Teenager, Mare/Stallion [Adult], Older/Elderly? Human age is acceptable too.

Additional Status: Any extra info you want to add. Like.. any pets, any clothes they wear, if they're famous or not... etc.


-Physical Stuff-

Pelt Color: Main body color of the pony.

Mane/Tail Color and Style: The color[s?] of the hair and how the pony normally styles it. Please try and be detailed!

Eye Color: Self-explanatory.

Cutie Mark: A personal description of that pony's unique mark.

Other Scars/Markings: Extra ordinary markings or old wounds that have left a mark over time.

Physique: Scrawny, Skinny, Slender, Average, Chubby, Fat, Muscular, Toned, really you can be creative.


-Social Stuff-

Current Residence: Take a look at the forum, there are plenty of places to pick!

Job: The pony's current occupation. Remember it's okay to give them temp jobs, students, and things like that. Not every pony gets their dream job right off the bat!

Mother: Optional - feel free to make your pony a mum if you want! If you have no use for her, you can set her up for adoption, or just don't mention her :3 (If you can't think of a name or simply don't want to, just put N/A)

Father: Same as mum.

Sibling(s): Also same.

Other Family: Not necessary, feel free to delete.

Closest Friends: This should be updated as your pony makes friends!

Courting/Courted By: This should be updated if your pony finds someone special/somepony else finds your pony special!

Mate: This should be updated if your pony ever settles down with that special someone, or if they already have done. c:

Foal(s): This should be updated if your pony ever has kids - or if they already have them. ^^


-Personality Stuff-

Likes: Things your pony likes. Try and add a nice list to get a good grasp of their personality.

Dislikes: Things you pony doesn't care for. Same as above.

Motivation: Normally relates to your pony's cutie mark, what do they wake up to look forward to everyday? What gives them passion? What makes them what to LIIIIVE?!

Strengths: What are your pony's good qualities?

Weaknesses/Flaws: No character is perfect (ew). What are your pony's not-so-good qualities?

Fears: Nopony's afraid of nothing! What scares your pony?

Overall Persona: 250 words about your OC's personality, OC's way of thinking, its psyche.

History or Background (Optional) : A summary of your character and where they are from. It doesn't have to be massively long - but a good description is nice.  Or you can instead add any character history. This is totally optional, the other sections are mandatory.
