It was an adequate day outside, there was no breeze, and sky seemed fairly cloudy. Yet the sun's rays were comforting, calming, as if softly reasurring those who felt it that there would be no rain or cloudy gloomy skies today. The library itself seemed to be fairly empty, with stallions, mares, colts, or fillies entering or leaving every now and then. Watching all of this was a beige pegasus with a two-colored maine/tail and red eyes, his wings being notably longer and thicker than a usual member of his species, a large carriage filled with both wooden and metal parts attatched to him by a harness, and a conflicted expression on his face.
"Do I leave my stuff here and look for the book I need quickly? Or should I ask sompony to watch it?" Ejaz thought in curiosity as he watched a small family that just left the Library walk past him towards the living residence.
"No... I don't want to bother anypony..." The young stallion decided before sitting down with a frustrated huff. Once he had arrived (which was a couple of hours earlier), Ejaz had decided that his first order of business was to find a library and see if he could discover a book that told him of all the different kinds of technology that the Crystal Empire had used, so that he would be prepared for the different kinds of mechanical requests he might be commissioned. But he then came at a crossroads when he realized that in order to enter the Library, he had to leave his carriage here. So now came the decisions of either A, he leaves his carriage here to go inside and runs the risk of it being stolen, B, he asks somepony to watch it for him and goes inside, and still runs the risk of it being stolen, or C, he just forgets trying to enter the Library, and learns of the possibly new mechanisms as he goes along, which could lead to slower business, and some unhappy ponies. Which is the exact oppposite of Ejaz's goals.
