There is stood with all it's glory. The Colosseum, the place that holds all the important Pegasus races. The Best Young Fliers Competition is held there, as well as some Wonderbolt races. Gail stood there, or more like flew there, her mouth opened wider than ever at how beautiful it looked. Just the way it was built made it look like one of the most important and amazing placed in Equestria. And Gail was not let down from how amazing it looked. It was her first time being there after all, and she was so excited to fly there for the first time. When the young griffon heard the janitors were unlocking the front doors for anypony to go and practice inside, Gail knew she had to go.
Once the doors were unlocked, the griffon flew as fast as she could inside the beautiful arena, seeing tons of things to practice with. Not a lot of ponies were there too, which made Gail even more happy. Cloud hurdles were set up on the sides, some cloud barrows laid there for some cool weaving tricks, there was even a large area for some ponies to workout and fly laps.
Gail didn't even know what to do first, so just for a warm up, she started at where the cloud track was. She got herself ready, cracking any bones necessary, then she opened up her blue griffon wings, buzzed them as fast as she could, and took off into the sky. She's heard before that she sounded like a jet when she flew at her full speed, which made her dazzed up when she figured that out. And thinking about it, it made her fly even faster. She could hear the wind fly past her as she did a few twirls in the sky. She looked behind her to see a streak of blue and yellow behind her.
Suddenly she stopped, but pretty violently to, as she almost threw herself into a wall. The griffon seemed to remember a story about a rainbow mane'd Pegasus doing the impossible by performing a Sonic Rainboom. Gail thought it was a fake story of course, but once she saw it close up in Cantorlot for the royal wedding, all her beliefs got thrown out of the window in her brain. So, the griffon stood there in awe, imagining how amazing it would've been to be sitting there in the audience and see the Rainboom happen close up.
After fangirling for a couple seconds, she shook her head and zoomed off into the air again. Once she did a few more laps, she landed on the track and got a plastic cup from a table. She then filled it up with some cool water and took a break for a second. "Ah, that's the stuff."
