The Cobblestone Paths {open to anyone}

Eternity felt a big, thick, fluffy brick wall hit her right in the head. She fell on the path made of cobblestone face first. With a big hmph. The mare glanced up at the huge thing in front of her. Her eyes wondered around the large goat then fell back onto the hard ground. Her mind was spinning, but not with confusion, with anger. She got up rapidly, then opened her mouth to speak. She didn't know what to say at first. Different words were forming in her head to make a sentence. The mare didn't want to say anything stupid, but of course that's what came into her head first. "What the? Watch where you're going," she told the goat. She chewed on her gum angrily, trying to calm herself down. The Earth Pony flipped her hood off, trying to get a better view. She literally had to arch her neck all the way back just to get a good look of his eyes.

The green headed mare trotted closer to the goat in front of her. She sighed, making her head not spin so much in anger anymore. She shook the dust off of her, then took a few deep breaths. This wasn't the first time somepony has ran into her today. "Sorry, I get a little.. upset with these kinds of things," she finally said. "This isn't the first time I've gotten bumped into," she added, glancing at the white Pegasus behind her. She gave a small smile then looked back at the mysterious being.

A few ponies looked at the group of friends, then lifted their heads up in discussed. "Ha, Cantorlot ponies," she said aloud. "Rude aren't they?" she asked the goat in front of her. She gave a little chuckle, like she was talking about herself. "Still, I apologize for my hot headedness. I'm Eternity... just Eternity," she said, holding out a hoof to shake. At least she had manners, for some part.. sort of.. maybe not that much.

(Okay, so the order for who goes next is a little messed up, so maybe it could go Me, RavynRay, TigerWolf, CableZ. If that's alright. I like things organized lol)

Aurora smiled at the stallion before kissing his cheek as she passed him, following Eternity. The dark mare with the green mane stopped suddenly and Aurora stopped before running into the hot headed mare. She looks back at Tiger before hearing a deep voice.

Aurora took to the air and flew outside the door to see a giant goat standing in front of Eternity, who was now on the ground. The snowy mare stared at the goat in awe before flying high enough to looking the buck in the eyes with a smile. "Don't worry, she did the same to me when I bumped into her. I'm Aurora, a pleasure to meet you," she says with a sweet smile before flying around the buck with a smile. She took an interest in this goat immediately as he caused her to think of a character in one of her fantasy novels.

"Where are you headed? You seem kind of lost," she said as she flew in front of his face to look him in the eyes.

Aurora landed and looked to TigerWolf before glancing back at the buck with a smile. "Would you by any chance be okay with an interview later? Well, not now, of course, but maybe some other time?" She asked with a smile. "Oh! I never asked your name! So, mister gentle giant, what's your name?" She asked as she flew up again to look him in the eyes and await his response, flipping her mane over her shoulder to keep it from her red violet eyes.

TigerWolf smiled at Aurora as she passed him. When he turned around TigerWolf saw something he'd never even imagined of seeing before. A filly screaming at huge goat. "And I thought I was big." he mutters closing the door. TigerWolf looks up as Aurora flies up to make eye contact with him and introduces herself. Turns out Eternity had crashed into the goat and fell down.

Aurora asks about interviewing th goat another. TigerWolf chuckles watching Aurora get excited over the large goat. "Good question." TigerWolf says approaching the goat as Aurora asks his name. "Hey I'm TigerWolf." he says brushing his ocean mane out of his face. TigerWolf had never thought he'd ever talk to a huge goat that had just been yelled at by a filly and also apologized to by the same filly.

"I'm sorry if this is rude, but how in the world did you grow so tall? It's amazing!" he says in awe of the large being. He circles around the goat examining his legs. 'He's legit unless I'm missing something. Then again if Princess Celestia can grow to that size it isn't impossible for him to either I guess.'

A'bek was a little overwhelmed at first. On one side was a pegasus, completely un-phased by his nature, asking him for an interview of which he had no clue how to respond. Then circling him was a rather excitable pony, bluntly asked about his size. Finally in front of him was the pony he'd accidental bumped into, whom had fallen down and was quite cross with him. Shaking his head slightly to regain some sense, he took a breath and decided to tackle these ponies all at once, Thankfully some of their questions overlapped.

"Ah...lets see." He rubbed his scratched the fur behind one of his ears. "Sincere apologies for bumping into you Just Eternity." He was a little off on the name, pony names were as such that he thought that 'Just Eternity' was her name. Looking between all of the ponies, he gave a warm smile. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is A'bek Thorns, you may simply call me A'bek." He gave a bow of his head, which if anything served to show off his horns. "I can assure you I'm not lost, though I appreciate the offer. I am merely wandering the stores of the city. If you are curious as to my size, I am what is known as an Ibex, we are naturally this tall. Though I suppose now that I think about it, I was a bit tall in my time." He got lost in a memory for a moment before shaking himself out of it. "I had not noticed any rudeness in the ponies of the city, though now that I consider it, very few if any have spoken to me." He chuckled.

"Since you have asked me so many questions, grant me one query. What is it you three are out doing today?" He asked, simply making conversation.

Eternity scrunched her face as A'bek called her 'Just Eternity'. She sighed aloud, then thought for a second. 'Just Eternity.. seriously. That's like the oldest joke in the book, unless he is serious.' The mare looked up at the goat then sighed once again. She didn't want to be rude again, so she simply said, "Eternity, that's all." She then turned to face away from the large creature. Her red eyes glanced at the white Pegasus as she pecked Tiger on the cheek. The biggest smirk appeared on her face. "I knew it," she said to herself. The smirk then slowly went away as she went back to look at the goat.

"Alright, well we are going to a exotic pet shop. It's down the road from here. There is supposed to be monkeys and stuff, so it seems awesome. You may come if you want to," the earth pony said with a chomp of her minty gum.

The sun came over a cloud, so it shined right in her face. The mare threw her hood back over her messy head, then switched the song on her music box. She switched her song to a love one. She loved those types of songs, though they always made her seem like a loner, like she already was. Well, until now. She has a lot of friends now. All different one too. A unicorn, Pegasus, and now hopefully a goat. How strange was this day? Very.

Eternity looked off to the side, then saw the building with a large sign saying 'EXOTIC PET SHOP'. She smiled at the glossy building. "Alright, eye spy with my little eye.. an exotic pet shop! It's over there," the grey mare said with a point of her hoof. She hopped into the air, then started to trot down the streets now filled with tons of fancy ponies. Her eyes didn't come off the building. She didn't want to lose her destination.

As she finally got to her spot, she stood and waited for the others to catch up. "Hurry up you three," she yelled, getting glances at her. She stuck her tongue out, then started humming softly to her loveish tune.

Aurora flew circles around the buck, staring at him in awe as he spoke in a gruff voice. She looked to Eternity as she spoke to the giant Ibex and then back to A'bek. She was fascinated by the sheer height of the creature in front of her. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to add a character of your type into a novel. No promising it will get published, but it would be great to get knowledge from you," she said as she flew next to the Ibex before looking towards Eternity and filling the red hood over the crowd with a few nasty looks.

They came to the store and Aurora walked in first, looking around the pristine, white pet shop. Her eyes roamed over the shelves, seeing no animals. Though, she wasn't shocked. Many places only carried what they needed to care for the pets and had a separate shop for buying the pets. Aurora hummed softly as she walked around, glancing over the shelves. Fae didn't need a bed, the fox usually shared the bed with her. She looked over the items before her eyes catching a little wolf plush that slightly resembled Wolfos. Aurora smiled and picked it up, looking around for a fox plush. She finds one that resembles Fae and runs to find Tiger. "Look at these! They're so cute!" She says excitedly. "Wolfos gets the fox and Fae gets the wolf, okay?" She suggested as she looked at him before looking at the others around them. "Do either of you have pets?" she asked them with a smile.

[TigerWolf]

TigerWolf searches around the pet store for anything Wolfos might like. He already had a crescent moon collar for his pet so he roamed past the collars. He and Wolfos shared a bed so he passed those to. Aurora then came rushing over to him excitedly. "Hey what's the rush?" he asks nuzzling her forehead. She shows him a gray wolf plushy and a white fox plushy.

"Whoa it even has the same gray and blue eyes. Dang were those just sitting there." TigerWolf felt Wolfos heart speed up for he was lying on top of his head. He had been tricked at first thinking it wad the fox in person. Aurora suggest giving the wolf to Fae and the fox to Wolfos.

"Whoa Wolfos its just a plushy. But you get to have it okay?" he says. Aurora then smiles to Eternity and A'bek and asks if they had pets. "Yeah good question. Though who doesn't like looking around a pet shop every once in a while?" he asks through laugh. He feels his wolf pups tail wagging as he clamped the fox on his mouth. "I hope you don't do that to the real Fae. Jeez!" he chuckles.

Who knew Wolfos got so excited over plushy arrive foxes? TigerWolf knew that Fae and Wolfos got along well but he never thought they got along so well he got excited over a plushy. "I should go pay for these before Wolfos tries to run off with it." TigerWolf says walking to the front of the store and paying for the furry figures.

He came back with a bag handing it to Aurora while Wolfos still held onto to the fox plushy.

A'bek for his part wasn't interested in pets, he had neither the time nor the patience to look after one, especially considering his nomadic life style. Still he could appreciate the sense of cuteness in a puppy or the antics of a kitten, some such nonsense as that. Though seeing how the two ponies reacted over some stuffed animals made him remember why he often avoided striking up a conversation about pets with those that own them.

"No...I do not own a pet, nor do I have any desire for one. I must admit that when you mentioned a pet store...I had picture a place that...had pets." He spoke with a sense of pointlessness to this entire endeavour. Whomever decided that a pet store didn't have pets was truly one of a lower intelligence. This was a place for people who owned pets true enough but without a means to acquire them, it rather seemed to defeat the point, there was nothing to gain here. Ignoring the two ponies as they went about gushing over what looked like little more than felt and fluff to A'bek, he looked around with a tired sigh. Looking to Eternity, he raised an eyebrow slightly. "I confess I rather think that my coming with you a bit wasted now that I see this place, I may part ways with your company and move on. I plan on travelling to the frozen north soon so I may begin preparing for that." He thought aloud as he looked around, his eyes still searching for something interesting or at least relevant.

Scraping one of his cloven hooves along the floor slightly was his usual idle thing to do, just something to occupy and fidget his mind with as he spoken or when he was bored. He did not mean to be rude but he didn't know these ponies all too well, he'd simply been swept up in an invite. An advantage of never really having a goal meant he could usually tag along, though he only did so if it provided an interest, so far this was less than he'd expected.

Eternity sighed, seeing no animals. It was called an exotic pet shop, yet no animals were seen. The mare was a little offset by it, what was the point in coming? Why was she here anyway, to see animals? Well they were not there, just some items for other animals that might not fit in any other pet shop. The earth pony was actually a little mad, that volcanic explosion inside her about to burst once again.

She held her breath, trying not to scream. She wanted to trash everything in the store, and her two other friends were attracted to two stuffed animals. Yeah, they were cute, but no where as awesome as a monkey. Eternity sighed once again, resting her arm on a shelf full of different varieties of miscellaneous things, put into random buckets. The two ponies in front of her asked if her and A'bek had a pet, so Eternity shook her head then looked away. "Nope. Don't think I would have enough time to take care of one," she said in that attitude she had in the beginning of her day.

Eternity put her red eyes on A'bek as he started to talk. She simply nodded then looked away once again, now bored out of her mind. Tiger and Aurora seemed in their own happy little world, obviously in love. Eternity ignored it though, as she searched around the building, seeing nothing that grabbed her attention. She sighed for the third time, then stood there motionless, trying to think of something to do, then it came to her. A devilish smirk came across her face, as she went to hide behind a shelf.

"Haha, I hit the jackpot," she said, taking a hooffull of stuffed animals. She then peeked her head over the shelf and threw an animal at the pair of ponies talking about how cute their stuffed animals would look with their pets. "Aha! Love birds!" she yelled, throwing another animal at them.

Aurora smiled as she took the bag from Tiger before listening to A'bek, her mouth soon closing after being pelted by a stuffed animal. She quickly turned to the mare that had thrown it and smiled at Tiger. "Hold this, please," she said, giving him the bag before taking to the air and flying to the mare before landing in front of her. "Wanna fight?" she asked, playfully before turning her head and sneezing. She then turned to the others. "Is there anything you want to do, A'bek? Or you, Eternity?" she asked. She was done in this store and had no reason to stay here. In fact, she could probably head back to Ponyville on the next train.

It wasn't that Aurora didn't like Canterlot. She thought it was beautiful. She just didn't like how snooty the other ponies were. Aurora had grown up in a place where she felt different and being here wasn't much help to that situation. She felt like she was a foal back in Fillydelphia again. The only difference was, here, no one called her names. She wasn't made fun of for having an Earth pony as a mom, a Pegasus as a father and a unicorn as a grandmother. Then again, no one here knew that about her. Though, she still received odd looks from all the ponies here and that was enough to make her uncomfortable with being in this situation.

She pushed all the negative thoughts from her mind before walking back to TigerWolf and taking her bag. She then headed back outside and looked around, unsure of what there was around this place. She never traveled outside of Ponyville once she moved there so she felt odd being in this place. At least she had her friends with her. And TigerWolf. Even though they were a couple, it felt weird calling him her boyfriend. It felt even weirder just saying he was her friend so she just didn't label their relationship. They were a couple and that was all that was important to her.

[TigerWolf]

TigerWolf's ears flick and he ducks under something flying at him and catches another. He looks at the one he had caught. "What the?" he asks before Aurora hands him the bag and flies off to the pony that had thrown them.

"Shoulda known it was Eternity." he chuckles watching Good thing I've been workin on my senses huh Wolfos?" he asks watching Aurora approach Eternity.

She turns and asks if the A'bek wanted to do something or Eternity. Good thing. He hadn't had much left to do in this store but sir back and wait for everyone else to be done. He didn't quite like that idea of waiting in a place like Canterlot.

He had never liked that over half of the population could be so stuck up. He really did like seeing the parts of town where ponies were more friendly like the part where he'd grown up. If he hadn't gone to school higher up he would've never guessed that attitudes like the ones around him were possible.

"Is there any other places around here? I only go to meets in this part of town and leave right after." he asks.

A'bek watched the ponies play like children, an act he felt was probably a bit below the age that he guessed this group was. He was all for fun but they were in a public place, making a mess as the staff of the store stared at them with raised eyebrows. Shaking his head a little with a smirk, he had to admit that while juvenile the enjoyment was a little infectious. However once the male suggested or at least asked where else they could go, A'bek rose a cloven hoof with a little chuckle.

"As fun as it has been meeting you ponies, I'm afraid this is where we will part ways. I am to travel to the frozen north as due to my distaste of trains or airships I plan on walking there...it should only take me a few weeks, rather a short time I feel." He got lost in thought for a moment, it was a curious thought that he'd ended up in Canterlot at all, he really needed to better learn the lay of the land. It got confusing when you believed you recognized the local surroundings then realized that you were remembering your homeland and getting completely lost. Not that A'bek minded to much, he rarely had a destination in mind but all the same it meant that he often wasn't where he thought he might be.

"In any case, I hope that you three enjoy the rest of your day." He bowed his head, his massive horns looming over them once more before he smiled and headed out of the store.
