"All things considered, anyone deciding to move to a place like this would have to get used to customs. It doesn't seem like that big of a change from what I can tell" Sun mused.
"At least you can acknowledge that you know little of the subject" Arion deadpanned. "Would you be able to adjust to only ever waking up during sunset, and falling asleep at daybreak? Would you be able to adjust to seeing things in the darkness 24/7?" he continued, Sun backing away as Arion continued forth like this. Softspark and Shining cut him off though, both of them giving him disapproving looks.
"Sorry, I just don't like when ponies assume something is so easy" Arion apologized before continuing forward.
"Don't sweat the small stuff, nobody's perfect" Slipstream smiled at him and hovered just above the ground, flipping upside-down to show off how relaxed she could be.
"Shouldn't we be moving on to the next location?" Softspark asked, trying to get the proverbial ball rolling.
"What even is there after this?" Sun wondered aloud.
"The blacksmith, for one thing" Dark Star answered as she pointed out a building just down the street.
"A blacksmith, like, a dude who makes horseshoes and weapons?" Slipstream needed to clarify, her heart rate accelerating slightly.
"Among many other things" Shining answered.
One good schlep later, and the party was treated to the whimsical sound of a metal hammer whacking against other metal alloys, followed by a quick sizzling.
"I suppose Dyntos is still running the shop?" Dark Star asked, her fellow ponies both nodding.
"Another one you know?" Softspark asked.
"It's relatively easy to keep track of names and faces when everyone sticks together on everything" Dark Star answered.
"Please let it be another awesome old dude" Slipstream prayed.
"This old dude still has great hearing, and that's awesome in its own right" answered a rather nasally voice from behind a lead curtain. The curtain was pulled by a silver aura, revealing an elderly unicorn stallion with withered, white hair and yellow eyes, smirking widely.
