-General Stuff-
Name: Mazarkus
.
Nickname/Alias(es): Maz.
Race: Earth Pony.
Gender: Male.
Age: Stallion (36 - Human Years).
Additional Status: Each hoof is attired in sewn linen that swathed in a decent pattern. Underneath his hooves are steel horseshoes slats. Mazarkus' reputation is little or possibly nothing in Ponyville, and this proceeds as the ladder for rest of Equestria. Unicorns are capable of using their magic to lift necessary tools to precisely mine and chip at gems or raw materials; however, Mazarkus is unable to be as precise. With the steel horseshoes slats, Mazarkus uses his hind leg's strength to bust stone and earth covering the raw material or gems. After years of performing this, precision is admirable for him to perform without even glancing at his target. This has also given his hind legs quite the workout.
-Physical Stuff-
Pelt Color: Mazarkus' pelt is hazel and monotonous, several patches of insignificant sized white fur are located against his left hind leg. The patches are circled around one another and right where his cutie mark should be.
Mane/Tail Color and Style: Mazarkus' mane and tail is thick and brown, and are given little to none attention when grooming is involved; however, the stallion's hygiene is pleasant as any other pony. His mane is short and treated with a comb over hairstyle. The tail is straight and dry, though its bushy quality gives it the curves the bend upward at end of each hair by an inch.
Eye Color: Mazarkus' eyes are ocean blue, and appear to be: silver, green, and blue combined when shined by a bright source of light.
Cutie Mark: Mazarkus lacks a cutie mark, for he is unfortunately incapable of discovering his sole purpose, thus occupying himself with manual labor until he discovers what his passion is.
Other Scars/Markings: Mazarkus has only been given one scar right below his right hoof. It's insignificant in size and faintly visible. The marking is his patches of white fur concentrated on one area.
Physique: Despite his hair, Mazarkus takes care of his own health. The stallion lacks detail to be considered muscular, though never judge a book by its cover. With Mazarkus' current occupation, a set of four brawny legs is a reward for numerous years of dedication toward his method of mining gems and raw materials. Mazakus' height appears towering amongst younger ponies, though is only an inch closer to touching Celestia's sacred sun.
-Social Stuff-
Current Residence: Mazarkus currently resides in Ponyville, though near the outskirts in order to quickly transit from his work to the town. His residence consists of a cabin, designed to house one pony. Its precise location is practically against a hill's smooth slope.
Job: Mazarkus' primary occupation is being a miner. Instead of being paid by the hour, Mazarkus is paid in bits by the amount of raw material and gems he is able to gather from wherever. He is entirely capable of gathering enough to secure his needs rather than wants; however, with what gems and raw materials left over, he fancies himself a 'sculptor' due to sharpening the edges of gems and giving them that special shine. Hobbies tend to pay off when given enough experience.
Mother: Cherry Blossom, mother of Mazarkus, was a nurse for the Ponyville hospital. Her favorite part of that occupation was to tend to each newborn as if they were hers; however, it brought her comfort upon watching them leave. Being shown that they're brought into the arms into a loving family simply reminds her why she became a nurse. She simply wished to help the wounded and less fortunate. Cherry eventually retired, upon being confronted with having a relationship with Dr. Curin Heil, and now spends her days exploring Equestria.
Father: Curin 'Blossom', father of Mazarkus, was a doctor for the Ponyville hospital. His favorite part of that occupation was to have himself heal patients all on his own without assistance. As a highly skilled professional, this was possible; however, it stressed him at dire times. He once managed to perform surgery on a Pony's left leg that a rock had unfortunately impaled and assist a mare in labor right after the surgery. Despite visual aid, several nurses were unable to believe it. They even believed he had gone mad. The rock was extracted and he only required to retrieve fragments and shards of the rock. Curin 'Blossom' eventually retired, upon being informed by Cherry that their relationship was now no longer a secret, and now spends his days exploring Equestria in accompany with his mate.
Sibling(s): Mazarkus is an only foal.
Closest Friends: Mazarkus is a social pony, though lacks the initiation of conversations to actually gain the loyalty of others in the manner of them being his close friends.

-Personality Stuff-
Likes:
-Being Alone- Mazarkus adores silence, for it is this unheard melody that reminds him of tranquility's definition. Ironically, Mazarkus' occupation involves creating a noisy environment for himself and others if accompanied by any. He typically fancies the supposed unknown closure of isolation, for the stallion is able to discover who is he rather than focusing on comprehending another pony's personality and mindset. Mazarkus has increased efficiency of preferably 17% when working alone. The amount of distractions and knowledge that another being is with him presents that uncomfortable atmosphere in his work environment. Being an only foal probably became one of his habits.
-Cultivation- Mazarkus, after successfully earning bits from a set of gathered crafts, eventually eases his stressed mind and weary hind legs through gardening. Statistically, having a green hoof improves a pony's sense of optimism. -Luna's Remarkable Shade- Mazarkus usually encounters himself searching for gems or raw materials during dusk or in the middle of the night. Eventually, he became rather accustomed to spending his time to mine during the night rather than day. Strangely enough, it seems that its another source of interest for him, though lacking that passion for which drives other ponies.
-Magical Ponies- Mazarkus absolutely envys these magical creatures. He believes them to be sesquipedalians; however, has now become known to their snobby behaviors that blind others to believe them as intellectual beings. Overall, each unicorn proves to be a unique individual with their own capabilities of magic. It would make his life much easier if he could lift a pickaxe to precisely mine materials rather than repeatedly chipping away at it by kicking.
Dislikes:
-Obnoxiousness- Mazarkus dislikes being involved in situations that are obnoxious such as: parades, rush hour at the market, and especially parties. This also applies to ponies, though he has yet to encounter any similar to such.

-Blank Flank- Mazarkus appears unaffected by the fact of himself still lacking a beauty mark, though the stallion considers him a shame for lacking a cutie mark and incapable of discovering his true purpose at his current age.
Motivation: Ponies are defined through their actions and what purpose their cutie marks hold. Mazarkus strives to achieve his cutie mark, though normally fails when a certain hobby becomes a habit rather than a life style. For his profession as a miner, the stallion's incentive to gathering beautiful gems and raw material generally used to create armor for guards is to earn as many bits as there are undiscovered treasure in Equestria. He has a green hoof, and has managed to grow a miniature garden surrounding his cabin. Once realizing that mining alone is a dull activity, he eventually began to observe the earth and rock. With dirt and nutritional soil analyzed, his garden bloomed within a month. Primarily, this is his hobby due to its beautiful scent and quality that represents nature. Mazarkus' other reason for creating the garden so that he could hopefully attract woodland critters. It does become a bit lonely after working.
What motivates him into performing so many hobbies and trying to maintain a healthy social life is due to himself hoping that he will, or with the assistance of another pony, eventually discover what he was born to do.
Strengths:
-Assertiveness- Mazarkus' deep tone and clear voice enables him to be strict and have dominance over a simple conversation when required, though is capable of performing this unintentionally. It is proven to be a strength, despite the intimidation.
-Experience- After years of mining with his hind leg's hooves, Mazarkus is able to propel himself further while galloping. The performance of sprinting has also become a hobby of his as well. This is also valued for whatever hobby he attempts, he already has a bit of knowledge for it due to the connection of the hobby toward his already mastered ones.
-Society's Friend- Mazarkus may have an issue with initiating a conversation, though graciously accepts an invitation to one. Conversing with other ponies is as if it were himself performing his job as a miner; excellent. Despite his issue, Mazarkus surprisingly manages to maintain friendships that he is capable of forming. Keeping in touch is rather simple, though to spare the time for himself and the specific pony to meet and catch up is the opposite. He will schedule himself at least a few days to himself incase a pony wishes to meet. The stallion may lack a smile, though his words and appealing behavior make up for it.
-Eager to Learn- Once being introduced to many hobbies involving atheltics to manual labor, Mazarkus is prepared to take on another. He has been like this since he was a colt, persistantly questioning the purpose of everything before completing given assignments. When this stallion is given a job, order, or task, he will complete it with one-hundred percent efficiency.
-Broad Physique- He is definitely a stallion, and one being so stern presents that masculine quality. Mazarkus, when sprinting, is incredibly fast though the possibility of him creating a sonic rainboom on ground, or at all, is very unlikely. Agility and strength is what defines him at first glance. He may lack that certain hint for which will convince pony's to believe that he is the living representation of masculine quality, though he certainly has a taste. Mazarkus is military material.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
-Hot-Headed- Mazarkus is quick to anger, and presents his enraged self with utmost pleasure. It is rare for him to lose his temper, though disagreements and unnecessary confrontations acts as a broken key capable of tampering with the lock.
-Insomnia- Due to staying awake during night and day to continue on his hobbies, Mazarkus fails to gain enough sleep. With a thought process consisting on how to improve his current hobbies and what to add into the family, the stability of remembering other ponies is difficult for him.
-Perceiving Emotion- Mazarkus generally strays from exploiting his emotions due to his stern behavior. Without entirely experiencing an emotion itself since he conceals a percentage of it, Mazarkus seems incapable of grasping the purpose of other ponies openly displaying their own. This presents an unusual awkward moment for him, and ends either with him being silent or fleeing the scene in an abrupt manner.
-The Single Scar- Beneath Mazarkus' left hoof is a small, faint scar. When strolling casually or galloping, Mazarkus appears as another pony; however, his left hoof is held at an angle with his left leg bent lightly at the knee when remaining still. It used to be intentional, due to how it pained him to add pressure onto it when healing. The scar is as if his reason to have that unhealthy habit, presenting that he could possibly be wounded when he really isn't.
-Partially an Elistist- Mazarkus is an intelligent pony, though lacks the knowledge to give insight on everything. As a pony with common sense, Mazarkus eventually catches himself before making a fool of himself by presenting irritation toward another pony's opinion. He believes that he is smarter than any pony currently around him to a certain percentage. It ranges from one percent to one-hundred percent. He'll probably announcing that his ideas are more effective than another pony's as well.
Fears:
-Aquaphobia- Mazarkus is utterly afraid of descending his body into water, possibly due to the constant dreading of water plunging into a mine he is currently operating in. He is perfectly fine with bathing, though entering large pools of water distrub him rather intently.
-Monsters- Mazarkus would have to be paid in a million bits to take one step into Everfree Forest. The sight of any monster sends him running. As a colt, Curin always tucked his son in before night and was always requested that he tell a story. Unfortunately, Curin lacked stories involving good endings. Each story ended with the main character being unable to benefit from the conflict that seemed to have been a monster stalking the character. This left Mazarkus with nightmares and minor illusions. It perminately marked him mentally, though no longer is he effected by these nightmares or illusinations.
-Invisible Cutie Mark- Mazarkus never spends a minute a day without thinking about his current state of a cutie mark. He believes that despite how high his efficiency is, he'll be unable to achieve his cutie mark. If able to be given it, he may be unable to actually enjoy it for Mazarkus could possibly be an elder by then.
Overall Persona: Mazarkus' personality, in layman's terms, is: realistically optimistic, naturally respectful and humble, and unpretentious. The stallion visualizes every pony, gryphon, cow, and others, as an exact clone of one another until proven otherwise. Their appearance fancies themselves to be unique, though only verbal responses toward either the actions of the individual's themselves, from another, or by himself allow him to depict their qualities. Even so, Mazarkus is still capable of sticking a name onto each being he has spoken to.
He appears grouchy, though the single sleep line beneath his eyes indicate exhaustion. After his continuous 'strolls' through the night and lack of sleep because of this, Mazarkus has grown a habit of insomnia. It does affect his overall performance, ranging from his labor to his social; however, he manages quite well. With the stallion fixated on his occupation and current hobbies, his mind is constantly thinking of each one. He considers possibilities on how to improve on them, benefit from them, and learn from them. Mazarkus does take part in social events at times to avoid being a hermit.
Within his mind, Mazarkus takes nearly everything into consideration. If he offered anything, he wonders how he will: benefit from it, consequences of agreeing or disagreeing with it, why he was offer it specifically, and other thoughts possibly deemed paranoid. He treats his surroundings as if it were his own body, periodically surveying the area to assure that nothing is of threat to him. Those that are near him have his full attention, and he gladly accepts them despite the outcome.
Mazarkus tries to be as positive as possible, and that involves him attempting to avoid using negative words such as no and not. What other ponies think of him is a major concern for him. He maintains his health above average, always willing to show a bright smile to prove it; despite having insomnia.
History/Background: In his younger years, Mazarkus was repeatedly informed to be tolerant, respectful, and cooperative toward each pony by his parents. Curin and Cherry retired a few months before Cherry reached the conclusion that she was pregnant. The couple lived in Canterlot, periodically volunteering for medical aid. With their particular expertise, Curin and Cherry were first picked on the list. When only a foal capable of crawling, Mazarkus tended to attempt at devouring nearly anything his short, stubby hooves and adorable little mouth could reach. Cherry knows every trick in the book when it comes to taking care of foals, and she now had a challenge on her hooves.
The foal's dedication in creating a path of destruction is admirable for even after being put into his crib in timeout as punishment, Mazarkus manages to escape and continue his reign. He became obedient once entering his stages of a colt, though artistically showed his chaotic side through his drawings of dragons breathing fire all over the papers he drew on. They're quite a bundle of scribbles, though are capable of being comprehended after hearing his description of it. Whenever he was never given what he wanted, he threw a short tantrum that ended with the silent treatment for two days in spite of his parents.
During his teens, Mazarkus kept to himself and quickly traveled from one place to another. People have mocked and teased him for being a 'Blank Flank', though their civilized influenced personality's were afraid of being caught by the adults for their bullying. Most thought it bothered him by the slightest; however, judging a book by its cover normally fails. Unfortunately, Mazarkus was unable to stand the amount of 'nobility' in Canterlot and eventually begged his Parents to have them moved to somewhere else. Ponyville was the nearest town and first he mentioned, though Cherry informed him that they were saving the bits to go on their adventure. Curin convinced Cherry to split the bits in half and let Mazarkus go on his own path. Weeks after, Mazarkus gathered the necessities and bits that would sustain him and ventured off in hopes of reaching Ponyville.
Canterlot offered many services, one possibly being able to give him a cutie mark; however, he felt compelled to venture out into the world and discover other means of what may interest him. He's spent at least ten years in Ponyville, though on the outskirts. It started with a tent used for a quick rest from in between work and Ponyville. Once seeing a gathering of gems in a rock near a cave, Mazarkus began to mine. With his hooves and an axe, which was terrible for him. He tried using his mouth, what a genius idea. Eventually, his persistence lead him into using his hind legs with the steel horseshoe slats.
He's found that kindness goes a very long way, and actually goes out to assist ponies in hope that one day they would return the favor; despite his actions being accomplished from the goodness of his heart.
