Shark Bait
Finn
The first day in a new town was always exciting and a bit anxiety inducing for the young stallion. Ever impulsive, Shark Bait didn't bother to secure temporary housing before showing up on the scene. Sometimes he would end up regretting such a decision, but more often than not the Earth pony would find that small town hospitality was alive and well in places such as this. He would figure it out in due time, even if it meant kipping out in somepony's living room for a night or two. It would all come together, as it usually did. And if it didn't, well. Finn could always move on. He wasn't far from Canterlot, which was to be his next destination, once he felt bored enough to travel again. He was sure to find some kind of short term housing there, at least.
This particular moment found the navy colored pony trotting aimlessly through the park, as he wound his way through town. One of his first goals when arriving in a new place was to explore it as fully as he could. Finn did not like getting lost, so typically he would purposely get himself lost on the first few days, forcing himself to memorize landmarks and shops. It was a system that always ended up working for him, though in a place as full of friendly ponies as Ponyville was, he doubted he would stay lost for long, should it happen. Still, Finn liked to learn his own way around a place. It was a habit that died hard, for a certainty. Besides all of that, he definitely found immense enjoyment for exploring a place. Truly exploring, without direction or maps or guidance.
Friendly smiles were offered to those who crossed his path, a few pleasant greetings, though the stallion was largely left alone. Pausing beneath a tree, the dreadlocked stallion would plop down in a sitting position underneath its shade, quietly content to pony-watch and observe for the moment as he worked out his plans for the next few weeks. Ponyville was all but foreign to him, not being a place he had visited in previous travels. The town was known to him in name, there being a lot of interesting or unusual events cropping up now and then. News of such events did sometimes reach them in Haywaii, though often times it was not something they dwelled on for too long, at least within his small community. Unless something was going to directly effect the island, they were all content to let it alone. Finn had always been too curious for his own good though. And so, here he was. Parked under a tree with a content smile upon his pierced face.
