It was dusk. Reds and gold’s painted the skies of Ponyville, resulting in a relaxing touch to the atmosphere. The sun gently began to settle its way behind the hills. It was too early for the moon to reveal itself yet and take hold of the sky. But its time would come soon, as the vast sky shed its solid blue color, into a myriad of darker shades. The shadows began slowly emerged from their hiding spaces, no longer afraid of the suns touch they would soon creep across the land, painting every object in its grasp a darker hue. For the time being tho, the sun still ruled over its kingdom of air and clouds, enlightening the ground softly as its spread its glow over the final hours of the day.
It was agreed that two ponies would meet for this time period. One emerged from her new town and and stood at its borders. How much she dreaded being in this spot. However, she had promised to meet her friend here, and she would stick true to her word. The dark grey mare sat down, her eyes were forced upon the site before her. The everfree forest gave her a cold feeling and she could feel herself shiver.
No matter how hard she tried, her eyes would not look away. It was like a line stood before her that divided the peaceful shades of the setting sun, and a world of pure darkness. She swore to herself she would not cross those boundaries no matter what happened, however, she didn’t want to appear to be a chicken either.
It had not been long since Nightwish had moved to ponyville, however it seemed like forever since she had to leave her friends in Cloudsdale behind. She missed them more than anything, but today one had agreed to meet her at the edge of ponyvillle and the everfree forest. Wish was confused as to why her friend Frozenstorm had chosen this location, but it didn’t matter too much she supposed, as long as she got to see that familiar face again. Her eyes finally released themselves from looking into the forest, as the sound of flapping wings came from behind her. She turned her head to reveal a white and blue pegasus pony. They both smiled as they saw each other. All of the ponies and Ponyville were very friendly but, it still wasn’t the same as being with someone who she had known for years.
“You ready to start?”
Nightwish stood to her feet to greet her friend . As Frozenstorm landed, they gave eachother a hoof bump. Wish then sat back down with a nod.
“Of course I am, I’m the biggest dare devil you ganna ever meet!”
The two pegasi eyed each other before frozen storm interrupted the silence.
“we will just have to see about that.”
“okay… you first then.”
The white and blue pegasus looked around. She gazed at Nightwish, then behind her into the forest. She had heard of the everfree forest before, and that was exactly why she was going to meet Wish here, it was the perfect plan. It wasn’t like all that much woukd really happen in that forest, right? It was just looked a bit intimidating… and this whole game was just for fun. If she really didn’t want to go into there, she could just say no. Right?
“I dare you, to go into the everfree.” She said with a grin.
Notes: I am only using Frozenstorm for this first post for a NPC.
I have more stuff planned for this thread, this is just an intro.
