This was it. The only reason a farming Earth Pony like her would ever step hoof in Canterlot. Despite the light orange mare being too wild, hence her name, Wild Maple, for the taste of the elite ponies of the royal city, Wild had always found herself adoring the grand palaces and cobblestone streets. So much history, and not only that, but so many ponies who could be possible buyers of her products. But no no, this mare was here not for business, but as an exciting trip to see her favorite flying masters, the Wonderbolts. As a young filly, Wild could only wish that her back bore wings and she could attend the elite Wonderbolt's Academy and become one of the fastest flyers in all of Equestria! Blocking the thought from her mind, Wild thought of her business once again. Maybe, expanding into Canterlot wouldn't be such a bad idea! Of course, it would be a hassle to transport all the bottles by train...
Still waiting. All her thoughts, and she had barely moved two hoof steps in line. It sure was busy that day. I wish I had some kind of fast pass to get to the front of the line! This is ridiculous! She thought to herself. On a less stressful day, she would most likely have said it aloud mistakenly, but today, Wild was definitely stressed. The show would be starting in around 3 minutes, and she still hadn't reached the entrance gates to the Race Track! A scream boiled up inside her chest, but she covered her mussel with her hoof and suppressed the angry bubble of loudness. Today was just not the best day to be apprehended for obnoxious behavior. If anything, she would be shushed, and she hated being bossed around! Control yourself Willy, you'll loose valued customers before you even get them! Canterlot was starting to tick this pony off, she was beginning to regret her earlier idea of entrusting part of her business to this long lined, premiere, city. The "posh life" here, Wild thought, wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
Two more steps. She would be at the front of the line in two more steps! Wild could hardly contain her excitement. But then she heard it! The fanfare signaling the start of the derby. No, no, no! It can't start without me! Come one line, come on! She had paid good money and a lot of perserverence to get this ticket! She bit at her bottom lip and pattered her feet nervously. Quoting as pony from Ponyville, Pinkie Pie was her name, Wild let out a screech audible to the end of the line. "I'm so nervousited!" Seeing the bizarred expressions of the ponies around her, she covered her mouth with a hoof, ducked her head, and blushed too red to even notice her natural pelt color.
