CC had already put up the flyers all over town, and she had got her dad to print up a dozen copies of the Heart's Warming Eve pageant. She was just finishing up the designs for costumes when her sister walked in. What are you doing? She asked curiously, levitating a few pages of sketches up to her eyes. She smirked and set them down, rolling her eyes. Writing another play that will never happen? She smirked again and looked at the booklets in a pile beside her older sister.
CC rolled her eyes and snatched the papers back under her vision, scoffing at her sister. Actually, this one is happening. I put up flyers and had dad print up some scripts. I was gonna ask you to be Princess Platinum, but now... she hid a smirk and began to leave the room! heading for the shelter of her bedroom. A bright pink hoof laid upon her wing, tugging her back towards the filly. CC turned back and saw her sister with an annoyed face, seemingly wanting to keep the proposed part.
Art 'n' Soul stared icily at her sister, coldly yet monotonously saying, I didn't say anything about not wanting to be in it, though. You said the Princess, right? She picked up a script and flipped through it, examining the pages. Yeah, I'm okay with doing this. She kept the script wit her, following her sister out of the room. So, is mom gonna do all this sewing? Talk about last minute... she glanced to the left and kept her tone low! not quite mumbling.
CC rolled her eyes yet again and looked at her sister. Fine, I guess you can still be in it. And I was gonna see if the schoolhouse could lend anything, along with the school. Maybe I could borrow what we used in sixth grade... She pondered the thought with a hoof to her chin, almost dropping the pencil, stack of scripts, and bundle of paper beneath her other hoof. That was another perk about flying: it's easier to carry things in one or both front hooves without hopping along.
She head out the door leaving a note on the table and headed towards her dance studio. Fancy Feet, her instructor, had given her permission to borrow the studio for practice and dress rehearsals. Miss Fancy Feet was so kind, and CC loved having danced with her for ten years now. Wow!
As Art 'n' Soul followed her sister into the studio, she set down her script and plopped her flank down on the ground. There's no pony here. She said bluntly, grinning at her sister's lack of actors.
CC scoffed at her sister and brought out a flyer. Through paper-filled teeth, she explained the absence: There'sh not shupposed to be anypony here yet, it'sh not even four-thirty yet. Sheesh... she spit the paper out and rolled her eyes! setting down her load on the ground. Have some patience
