[waxworks, and Tartan Lassie]
((Only waxworks for the first little bit))
A shadowy figure pulled on a black cloak and entered the abandoned manor. She had found it only days ago, finding it perfect for her party. She had sent only four invitations, but there would be "uninvited guests," if you know what she meant. The door creaked open, and the mare grinned, finding Waxworks already here and ready to help set up. It was a few hours before the guests should start arriving, so that'd give them enough time to set everything creepy and ghoulish up for the night.
Hello, Waxworks.
The mare's voice was masked by special potion, and her disguise would keep everypony from discovering her true identity until the need for it to be revealed happened. She pulled out a box and set it down, smiling beneath the mask. She gestured to the box with a covered hoof, which had been covered (like everything else) with dark fabric to hide her identity.
I brought the masks. I'll set them outside the door with the sign, and then we can start everything else.
Just as she arranged the creepy, gooey sign, she heard a cackle from inside. She jumped, but then laughed. It must be something of Waxworks'...right? She brushed off the feeling and entered the manor again. She nodded and adjusted her hood, then spoke again.
So, we'll narrow them down, one by one, and then the last one left will have to try to figure out the mystery? Or is it just picking them off until one pony figures us out? I brought a few "helpers" to make the disappearances look more realistic.
She pulled out a few bottles, the. Set them down beside her. She had other things stored, but she knew that Waxworks would have the "big guns" of the night. She also pulled out four copies of the invitation, each described in a different way.
These are copies of their invitations. Bunsen Burner will be "Doctor Denote," Galvanic—your friend, I believe?—will be "Princess Petite," and Chocomint Swirl will be "Madame Mistique." I, myself, will be "Mistress Hostess," and nothing more, but I wasn't sure if you'd rather be hidden in the shadows?
The hostess shrugged, keeping her cloak in check as she did so. She was quite excited for this party. As it'd be thrilling and mysterious—perfect for a Nightmare Night surprise.
