Apple Crumb wiped her brow as she finished setting up the rest of her supplies she'd had at home. Going into business with Porcelain Shield had given her some well-needed popularity, and she was bound to need it. What was left was anything from the scraps of dough and apples left before harvest was over, as she canned most of it. That canned apple filling would be sold during the winter, so only fresh apples and treats would be sold during the spring-summer months. Adjusting the sign on the cart Porcelain Shield had created for her, Apple a Crumb was ready for business.
Get your apple treats here! Everything must go! I repeat, EVERYTHING must go! You want dumplings? I've got 'em! You want fresh ol' apples? Look no further! Get your stocks before winter starts! Fall is just beginning, but the nip in the air will catch you quick! Hurry down to the cart closest to the entrance and see what you can buy!
Apple Crumb sipped from a glass of water, clearing her throat to begin shouting again. Pulling open a drawer on her side of the cart, she found quite the helpful surprise: a bullhorn, ready to be used. She smiled and picked it up, ready to use it.
Repeating her original message, she readied herself for any number of ponies, big and small; her jar was ready for payments and tips, and her heart was ready to give discounts. Stubborn as she was, kind souls could delve their way into her heart and mind, somewhat making her give in and offer small discounts. The day was young, and Apple Crumb was ready for business.
