Midnight Meeting of Villainous Past (Nimbus) [Concluded]

With a jump and a spin (with caused the ice that formed at his feet to stop until he once again hit the ground) Discord skidded to a halt in front of Luna with a smile as she thanked him for talking with her, to which he raised his hand and shook his head as an indication with her to stop.

"No thanks needed my dear princess." He laughed, with a click of his bird claw fingers, the ice beneath his feet simply melted away. "I have realized the error of my ways of the past, for the most part of the least" He mumbled the last line. "The difficulty only arises in my future" He laughed once more.

At that point, a group of Luna's personnel guards walked into the ball room, having heard Discord was hanging around with their Princess, they took it upon themselves to move him along and stop bothering her. The group of 3 bat ponies walked across the room, stern faced as they looked at the god of Chaos. Discord heard the echo of their hooves on the varnished ballroom room, raising a concerned eyebrow at the sight. The leader of this group came to a halt, as did the others, as they looked at Discord with very stern looks.

"Discord, we are here to escort you along and to ensure you stop bothering the Princess of the Night" the leader of this self imposed group said with a confidence and angry tone, sure that he was aiding his princess.

Discord looked down at the bat pony in bewilderment, he hadn't expected this today. Turning back to look at Luna with a slight smirk, he then looked down at the bat ponies with a blank gaze. They then moved aside to allow the king of disharmony through, however Discord had other plans. With a click of his fingers, the ground below the guards became the same ice that Discord had been skating on just before. Almost in unison, the guards lost their hoofing, and their legs gave out, hitting them into the floor. Discord began chuckling as the guards tried to get back up onto their hooves, but with wobbly legs they just fell back over. They then tried flapping their wings to get from the ground and give Discord what for, however as they leapt from the ground, their wings seemed almost glued to their bodies, and they hit back into ground, the momentum sending them sliding along the icy floor, which caused Discord to really laugh.

"Your guards sure are funny Luna" He managed to gasp out between his laughter.

Luna initially looked rather upset and annoyed that her guards had come to move him Along, she really didn't want that, but that sadness turned to laughter when Discord got up to some antics with the guards, making them slip. She laughed for quite some time, before considering just explaining to them what was happening.

She approached the leader of the group

"Discord does not pose a threat to me, nor is he bothering me, in fact we were having a lovely discussion about all manner of things, he is different now, he has changed, he doesn't mean any malice now, he just wants a bit of fun"

She then looked at the group of now struggling to stand guards, dismissed them and then turned back to discord

"I'm sorry about them, they have been ever so protective since I got back, it is their job after all, I suppose they just fail to understand that there is the ability to change"

as the guards were leaving, a smirk came across Luna's face, she then focused for a second, and suddenly, under their feet in the doorway it became icy again, and they slid out of the room, the door slamming behind them, Luna laughed to herself, hoping Discord would find it funny too

"I know it is somewhat odd coming from me, but perhaps they take themselves too seriously"

She then looked to discord with a sort of smirk that could only mean she had an idea

"I know we messed with the Canterlot guards, but what say you about messing with my personal guards? I see that being rather entertaining, but

only if you feel like it"

Discord got a slight smile when Luna defended him, he wasn't defended often, and it brought a warm feeling within him. Turning to look at his new Princess friend as she spoke about her guards actions, he turned back to look at the bat ponies as they began to leave. He could understand being protective of their returned royal, still, they DEFIANTLY took themselves too seriously.

"Not odd at all, we all get a little too serious sometimes" Discord chuckled

As Luna slammed the door, Discord just laughed, it was a movie moment. With them once again alone, Discord turned to smile at Luna, falling back and landing on nothingness as he leaned back, as if sat in a deckchair as he listened to Luna's idea of messing with her own guards, an interesting idea, but slightly confusing.

"Forgive me Luna but do your guards stay elsewhere? Did we not just mess around with the barracks, where exactly would we go to play tricks on your own guards?" Discord asked with a raise eyebrow, straighting himself up slightly.

Luna hadn't really explained that the canterlot guard, and her royal guard are two different things, her personal guard are more of a "special" service, working only directly with the princess rather than doing duties around the castle for the city

"Well, Discord they don't stay in the same place because there are less of them, and they have different duties"

She stated as a somewhat matter of fact

"They stay in the aft section of the same barracks, but they have a much smaller living space, and it is entered through a different doorway. My guards enter the barracks through a door at the end of one of the castle walls nearer my living quarters, not a such a secret passageway, just a lesser known about section of the guard has a lesser known about entrance to their living quarters, perhaps because they work only with me directly, they are held in a more secretive regard. Trust me though, there is little difference, other than my guards tend to be more assertive in their protection, as you just saw, they tend to be sent to me when there is either immediate need or cause for concern."

She explained, it was really more convoluted than it had to be, however to someone who is not as familiar with the ways of the royal guard, it sounds rather strange. She then looked to Discord and said rather quietly, making sure no one else heard, even though no one was around

"You might need to make yourself invisible to get in, or at least do something to disguise yourself to get in, even though I've told them, they don't exactly trust too easily, as they understandably have to make sure I am safe"

She headed towards the door as though they were going to the quarters intended, motioning Discord to follow

"Shall we?" she said.

While Luna explained the various aspects of her guard's work and where they lived...Discord was otherwise occupied. Frankly the question was only half hearted, part bat or not, guards were guards, and guards were no fun. Still it explained why he had not see many of the dark sort, they simply kept to themselves. Discord pressed his thumb and index finger together and blew bubbles through it from nothingness while She explained that he may have to turn invisible. To which he stopped for a moment, having sufficiently filled the top half of the room with motionless bubbles that seemed to reflect the light beautifully.

“Ah, invisibility is a slight issue I’m afraid.” Discord rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish grin “After I turned invisible and turned Celestia's bath water into mud, she got slightly mad and stopped me from using invisibility for awhile, if I try it now it makes me more conspicuous than ever.” He laughed, floating around slightly “In her defense It was the 4th time that week, and I had done if every time she tried to take a bath...in fact I'll show you what happens”

With a wink and a click of his fingers, Discord slowly began to fade from view, however just at the point that he started going transparent, he suddenly popped back into full view, and fireworks shot out of him into the air, exploded with a series of bangs and crackles, leaving the words 'Discord is here' sparkling in the sky...of the ball room.

“Not ideal I admit, but I have to give your sister credit for getting her own back” he chuckled, looking up at the words floating there for a moment, before they disappeared into nothing. “You see the problem this creates, to sneak in I could either disguise as a pony, or maybe turn myself into a piece of jewelery or clothing for you, what do you think?”

Seeing the fireworks she initially panicked, gasping audibly before realising this was her sister's handiwork, and upon hearing the reason, she couldn't help but laugh at the image in her head of her sister trying to take a bath, but stepping into mud rather than water, not only once, but four times in the same week, which would explain her apparent lack of public appearance, she thought to herself that mud must be harder to get out of fur than she thought.

Then she started thinking about this proposed disguise idea, since the guards now knew Discord was around, they would be looking for him, and not for one of their own, or for that matter, one of Celestia's guards.

"That's an idea, Discord, could you disguise as one of my sister's guards? They wouldn't suspect anything, just say you are escorting me on the count of there being reports of Discord causing havoc around the castle grounds, and took it upon yourself to watch me after you had not seen my personal guards around the castle"

She then decided to plan ahead of getting past the initial guards

"We should go to the armoury first, there is likely to be something to mess with, here, I think we should lay prank...Traps as it were, things that initially have no effect, giving us time to get a distance away, the watching the madness unfold from afar, since my guards are ever suspicious it is the safest way of doing things, even I, a princess must take certain precautions with my own guards, I wouldn't want to be on bad terms with them, since they are responsible for me when under their protection."

With a smile, Discord raised his hand in a fist above himself, and slowly span around. Opening his hand released a torrent of confetti from his palm, which shot up like a fountain and fell down quickly. It enveloped the lord of chaos and soon he fell from sight, but the confetti still shot from the point of his hand, so it was safe to assume he was still there. All of a sudden however, the confetti fountain stopped, which Luna would be able to tell by the sound of the rushing pieces of paper coming to a halt. The rest of the party paper fell down softly, and it would became apparent that something was off when Discord was not at the height he should of been as the confetti fell. The coloured pieces of paper continued to fall, and soon they revealed where Discord had gotten too.

Stood where he was before, was a white pony adorned in golden armour. Slightly taller than the average guard, the pony had a small scraggly goatee, and his eyes were slightly off. Standing with a sinister grin, the pony looked back at his body, lifting his back leg slightly as he smiled at himself. Turning back to face the princess with a grin, complete with one singular fang, he bowed before the princess formally.

"Corporal D. Scord at your service princess" The pony spoke in Discord's voice, as if it weren't already obvious enough to the princess that it was him.

"Well that sounds like a marvelous idea princess, but I am only your escort for the time being" The Discord pony laughed "It's your night, I shall let you decide where you lead" He smirked once more.

The disguise was rather impressive, Luna raised an eye and walked around Discord in his new guise, making the occasional "hmm" sound as she did, after all, this had to pass her guards, who were very keen to pay attention to the littlest detail if something seemed wrong

A raised eyebrow that seemed to say "I'm impressed" came over her before she spoke

"Well I must say Disc.... I mean Corporal D. Scord, you managed to get the disguise to be very convincing, now it's getting it past my guards, shouldn't be too hard but it depends how they reacted to earlier, when we messed with them back there"

At this point she motioned into the hallways that lead to a staircase, they were near where they had started their little adventure, except at the other end of the corridor facing her quarters,as she had said the barracks for her guards were near her quarters, they passed her room and were at the an intersection in the hallway, the hallway went forwards into a staircase, left into another hallway running alongside Luna's wing, and to the right was the corridor to the barracks of her personal guard. Outside of which stood two of her personal guards, from their position they were not visible, however another step and they would be in direct line of sight. At this point she spoke in a hushed tone as to not alert anyone to their whereabouts for now

"Ok, so i'm thinking we go up to these guards, tell them you're an escort from Celestia, that should give us time to get upstairs and into the armoury, I have an Idea when we get there, but to do so, you'll have to act as best you can as one of my sister's personal escorts and guards, so just try and stay in character as we go about this"

She then took a few seconds to calculate her and Discord's potential actions, but realising that calculating the actions of the embodiment of chaos' actions was about useful as a chocolate fireguard, she quickly just composed herself and marched out into the hallway leading to the barracks,while the guards weren't looking she whispered to discord

"You ready?"

Luna began to walk, hoping her "escort" was following

Discord watched with a smirk as the princess inspected his magically fake pony disguise, he could do better, he could be anything he wanted to, but he liked adding a bit of personality to it all. He bowed his head slightly in thanks to her words, always nice to have your work appreciated after all, and frankly Discord wasn't used to it just yet. He felt no need to say anything as she spoke, he could add nothing to what she said after all.

Speaking would probably give away Discord, he could speak in another voice if he wanted but he wanted to make this more about Luna, it was her night after all. So he just nodded along with her, it was all correct and made sense after all, Discord didn't know much about Luna's guards so he had to take her word for it on how they might act.

Walking with her, Discord looked around the castle, it was kinda of boring not being able to fly around or anything, how did none pegasi manage. Even then they couldn't move in half the ways Discord could, yes it was safe to say Discord liked being Discord, because he got to be Discord!! There wasn't much interesting as they walked, it was just the castle, he'd been frozen here for 1000 years, he'd seen it plenty. Still, having some company was nice, it was safe to say he'd find somewhat of a kindred spirit in the princess of the night, even if she was half of the reason he was locked up, he could call her a friend now.

As they came to a halt, Discord looked over to the guards as Luna explained her plan, he'd go along with anything she asked, it was her night after all. He nodded simply when she asked if he were ready. Ready for what? fun?

Walking over to the group of guards who were suspicious of their own shadows with Luna, Discord was stern faced and stood straight next to the the princess. He took a step forward and addressed the self appointed 'head' guard, who didn't have any rank above the others.

"I've been ordered by Princess Celestia to be the personnel escort of Princess Luna, with Discord spotted causing mischief around she wants to take no chances with him." He spoke in en entirely different voice, guess he had to speak differently after all.

The guards looked at each other, then to the princess before looking back to Discord in his pony disguise.

"Absolutely not, we will escort the princess, you are not qualified, isn't that right my Princess?" The guard looked to Luna for back up/confirmation of what he said with a slight bow, ready to put this guard in his place.

Luna initially was rather surprised at them denying her and her escort access, however her guards being ever so suspicious of anything that wasn't them, or of their order, under normal circumstances they wouldn't dream of allowing another escort to be around their princess, but surely at the discretion of their own princess it would be ok, except this guard didn't think so.

However since Luna had no concern that they wouldn't be allowed through at her word, she spoke up in response to the guards rather abrupt decline.

"

The guards that Celestia sent to guard me are perfectly qualified to guard me, and it is at my discretion that I choose them to escort me, now, if that is clear, we wish to pass through here into the barracks"

with that, the guards allowed them right on through, although hesitant at first, so Luna and Discord had to watch themselves, she thanked the guards as they passed them and went towards the barracks.

The door was rather large, it was a double door that had Luna's crest on it, the guards on the door pushed it open to reveal the inside:

Inside the barracks, in front of them was a sort of meeting area where they would gather before leaving, or for any important announcements to be made. Beyond that there was a flight of stairs that would first take them to the armoury, above that was the dormitories for the guards, at the moment there were a few guards in the meeting area preparing to go on their rounds of the castle.

Heading quickly past them as they saluted, Luna headed to the armoury, she and discord could definitely find something to mess with there, Luna was somewhat unfamiliar with specifics in terms of layout, mainly because she didn't really come to this part of the castle often, but in her eyes this made the idea of pulling a prank off here more exciting.

She reached the top of the stairs, looked around and saw the armoury opening in front of them: To the right side of the room were mannequin-like stands with guard's names and armour plating on them, some had nothing on, obviously being the guards on duty. The other side had tools for the guards, such as replacement armour and things like that,

Ideas came into the princess' head about what to do next, particularly looking at the armour, however she was also interested in what Discord had to say in terms of ideas, she looked to him and asked

"Well, What do you think we should do? I foresee some mannequin shenanigans personally, but whatever you think"

Discord kept mostly quiet during the interaction between the princess and her guards, smirking smugly as he passed them, just to tick them off. He quickly joined Luna at her side as they walked softly along, keeping quiet for the most part. Discord often used a pony disguise back in his evil days, so the form was nothing for him, some forms took some practice in getting the movement down, luckily he had mastered it. As the pair entered the barracks, many eyes quickly shifted to the Celestia guard form of Discord, while there was no bad blood between the two types of guard, they just had little interaction, as such it was just odd to see one of the day guards there. However with the princess of the night by his side it was nothing to worry over.

Eyes looking all over, Discord scanned the area for all possibilities, a slight grin across his face as he followed the princess. Ascending the steps softly, Discord looked around as he continued following/escorting Luna, the guards watched their princess out of the corners of their eye. It was slightly off putting having their boss and ruler in their living quarters, and they had no idea why she was there, she almost never came to this part of the castle.

Looking over the area, stood next to his new friend, he thought about what they could do. As Luna spoke to him, he raised an eyebrow and looked over to her, before looking back over the area with a curious look.

"Mannequins eh?..Always try something new, we never want to kill a joke, why that is a crime!" He spoke with a dramatic passion "You just have to close your eyes, and.." With a little tap of his hoof, there was a little magical spark of colour from the contact point.

There was a sudden surge around the armour on the mannequins, little crackles of energy rippled over them for a split second, before fading like nothing had happened. Just then, a few guards came out of the sleeping quarters, heading toward the mannequins, the anticipation grew along side the smirk on Discord's face. The guards quickly equipped their armour, shuffling around in the plates of metal and chain-mail. They all looked at each other with nods that said 'we're ready' and they then headed for the door. However one by one, some strange things began to occur. The guard at the back of the group fell instantly to the floor, his armour weighed his down, as if it weight a million tonnes. The next floated into the air as if weightless, the guard himself went wide eyed, his legs still moving as if expecting a floor to be there to meet them. The final guard, oblivious to all this chaos that had gone on behind him, reached for the large metallic door handle, and suddenly, a massive static shock ran through his body, sending hi slightly skyward. The guard was slightly dazed, looking around slightly dizzy, stumbling over to lean against the wall he was suddenly hit by another massive static shock, which set off a sort of chain reaction of the guard stumbling into things and getting shocked. All the while one guard was trying to push himself off the ground, but couldn't move his armour in the slightest, while another tried to push himself off the ceiling.

Discord tried very hard not to laugh, as to not give himself away, however it didn't stop the other guards in the room chuckling and laughing at the misfortune of the others. Some tried to help the guard off the floor, others tried helping the static pony, but stopped when his static shocks affected them upon touching him. A final group of guards just looked up at the ceiling pony, smirking while he shouted at them to fly up and help him.

"Ahhhhh music to my ears" Discord stifled a laugh.

Luna, watching in awe and amusement as chaos unfolded before her couldn't help but laugh at it all, even though it was her own order of guards, the hardest part of hiding her intent came from when the guards looked at her as if to ask what was going on, to which she had to feign the same amount of confusion. She sat watching and hiding laughter for some time, before she had to look away to laugh. Eventually she, whilst watching the chaos, attempted to add to it, a brief bolt of purple magic hit the mannequins that were not used, and they began to animate, stumbling around and clattering, making it hard for the guards to move around because they were getting in the way, other than the armour making their lives difficult that is. 

As the guards were trying to get the floating one down, some were struggling to wither get up or not touch the guard loaded with static , now the mannequins would bump into the guards on the floor, causing some to tumble into the charged guard, lending to more little "zap" sounds and a quick jump across the room. 

There were guards in the next room who inevitably hearing the chaos ran in trying to establish what on equestria was going on, to which they could find no answer, some of them looked to luna, who also had to act as if she had no idea, hoping Discord wouldn't give the game away, although she trusted he wouldn't as he hasn't so far.

Of course the room was now full of panicking guards who were in a state of confusion, stumbling over moving mannequins and all the while some were trying to get up and some were trying to get the poor guard off the ceiling, all the while avoiding the statically charged guard .

Seeing that their work in this particular room was done. Luna used her magic to teleport the two of them to the room above, which was just below the watchtower outpost, where the guards would look over the castle. On this floor there were large open windows and no one around, mainly because this was just a transitional room to get to the top of the towers. Luna thought that it might be funny to create things that would be spotted by the guards, illusions, similarly to what happened in the maze. 

Luna took a peak from the stairs to the top of the watchtower, there were supposed to be two guards on duty. In reality there was only one, who at the time wasn't really watching anything, just slacking, this made Luna rather irritated, given these guards were supposed to be the best of the best. The other had fallen asleep on the job, luna, being a dreamwalker, would be able to wake him up rather alarmingly, but that might ruin the entire idea of the surprises around the castle freaking them out.

"Well, Discord, this could be fun, either we can mess with these two to keep them alert, I don't tolerate laziness, or, I could enter his dream and wake him, either would be quite funny, but, thinking of you here, you wouldn't be able to see what I could do in his dreams, your call, either way this is a perfect opportunity"

Discord had to magically freeze his face to stop himself from giving away the whole prank, but even then it was hard, his eyes watered in pure laughter and joy. He had to turn his head slightly to make sure no one suspected him, as he could feel a few eyes upon him already. Thankfully he managed to keep their innocent guise up, with none of the guards suspecting him. But moving on was wise, as if they stuck around they would raise more suspicion.

Thankfully, Luna seemed to have the same idea, Discord was a little surprised when he was teleported, but he was so used to the action that he showed no visible shock. However Discord's teleportation was elegant, he was a being of chaos, changing location like that was part of his being. By contrast, pony teleportation was a lot more violent, it was a pure force of magic that forced their location to change, fine for those used to it, but those that weren't could end up being a bit sick due to the action.

Looking out of the large windows, a small smile was brought to Discord's face, he had also found a beauty in the organized chaos of the stars. Turning back to look at Luna as she slowly came back down the stairs with a slightly agitated look on her face, wondering what was the cuase of the issue, Discord cocked his head to the side. With her question, it became slightly more clear, and he smirked softly. Tapping his hoof down softly, Discord was enveloped in a cloud of sweet smelling smoke. Blowing softly away in the wind that was let in through the large windows, Discord had quickly changed back into his natural form, not going for any theatrics this time.

"Well my dear Luna, I believe that the choice is yours, being your guards you should discipline them in your own way" Discord floated around, however, a gust of wind flew through the mid section of the tower, carrying a casual looking Discord out of the window. However, he simply floated back through the opposite window, floating back into his original place in front of Luna. "Oh and my dear, you assume I cannot see the dreams of your beloved ponies...but have you ever seen a dream that made no sense? Why..I'm as much a dream walker as you" He laughed softly, loving the particularly random dreams of some ponies.

Discord's question gave Luna a moment to think, about the dreams she had seen, some were very interesting, some were strange, some sad, some happy, she tried to recall the dreams she had seen, trying to think of the most unfathomable one she could remember. She thought of one dream in particular

"Well... There was one dream that I recall being rather strange, but I'm not one to judge, even if they had an unhealthy obsession with muffins... Yes, muffins everywhere is the best way to describe it, just sweets, candy, the land was made from it, I suppose that is strange, I mean why would someone want to eat their own house? That's like me... Eating the castle, and that's just silly"

She felt she was going off on a tangent here, and decided to remain on task

"I digress, anyhow, yes I am rather frustrated by my guard's lack of effort and enthusiasm, for which there must be some reprimand"

Her eyes began to glow brilliant white, meaning she was using her dreamwalker powers, she tried her best to pull discord in with her, and like that they had entered the dream.

Inside the idle guard's head was a very occupied dream, a function of sorts for the princess, Celestia that is, he simply had been posted up here, in the tower, to watch over the whole event, which he could see through a window downwards to his left, he appeared to be the only guard on duty, perhaps because it was his dream. Discord and Luna had appeared in what was almost like a cloud balcony above the whole scene, looking down on the unsuspecting guard about to be given a fright of an awakening.

Luna, being able to appear in whatever guise she wished in dreams, disguised herself as dark shadow of herself, looking something like nighmare moon, while not taking that form as to not cause too much panic, thought about how she would begin manipulating this dream. Her initial idea was to turn the night around them even darker, the sky becoming black. She looked to discord, and back at the guard, knowing they could mess with the guard within a certain extent before he would awake from sheer panic, motioned Discord to follow as she flew down silently to the rooftops just out of sight, her horn began to glow, and as if by magic several copies of this "shadow" appeared around the castle, on the rooftops, around the ponies in the hall, all of whom were going around unnoticed

The guard seemed to leap into a sudden state of being alert, looking around for another guard to call, although nobody would come, because he was the only guard on duty in this dream, it wasn't so much fear as shock, he started getting a spyglass like device and looking around at the shadows, all of which turned to face him, and all at the same time walked towards him, he began to experience some kind of fear, terror and panic, seemingly a little dark for luna, but after all her guard was being lazy, and that cannot be tolerated.

Luna stood out of sight of the guard, zapping shadows around now and then, keeping the guard on edge, the guard turned to face the staircase, which now descended into infinity, he realised he had nowhere to run. Suddenly a voice appeared in his head

"Sleeping on the job could risk many people, guard, your princess needs guards who can keep their eyes open when instructed to"

This would have been heard in the royal voice, which was only used when Luna was angry, the guard, now truly freaked out, was left at the mercy of Discord, as Luna looked to him, expecting some kind of addition to her ability to strike fear into her guard.

There was not much trouble in bringing Discord into the dream, it wasn't something he often did, but he had the ability, frankly he was surprised that Luna had never known. Regardless Discord found himself in the dream, looking around the rather uninspired scenery of...well the real world, Luna was the dream princess? She needed a few lessons in being a bit more ca'razy! Chuckled, Discord looked around the dark environment, seemed the guard's actions really had annoyed Luna, made Discord not want sleep on the job...wait...he didn't work!! Discord did find it odd that a pony would be dreaming about the situation that they were actually in, felt slightly odd to him, but ponies could be the strangest creatures...so random.

Oh well, best to let them think they were the normal ones, you had to give them something every now and again. Discord was mostly an observer for this nightmare/lesson, Discord wasn't really one for fear, he just liked to cause chaos, chocolate rain often didn't cause fear. As such, Discord felt as if he was in the wrong room, like he was with a friend, but in a place the friend knew, an unfamiliar almost uncomfortable place. However Discord was not one to stifle how someone operated, if he did that, he might open the flood gates on his own modus operandi, Celestia forbid!

Anyway, once the whole creepy show was done and over, and Luna looked to Discord expectantly, he gave a little sinister grin, playing into her whole creepy facade. Leaning down and looking at the guard, albeit from afar, the lord of chaos stroked his chin for a moment, before clicking his fingers and watching as his magic unfolded.

A single white strip began spiraling up the leg of one of the shadows, moving up the leg and around the body, with more stripes moving their way up the other legs soon after. This soon happened to the rest of the shadows, leaving them as black and white swirls, the stripes meeting on the faceless heads of the shadows. However, soon after there came a red strip filling in the area of black, the shadows soon becoming brightly coloured red and white swirls, like a barber's pole. Then came an explosion in the sky, leaving a large paint stain on the night sky, like someone had thrown paint at a canvas. Several more explosions followed, and soon the sky was awash with colour and paint splats. The light level in the dream then shot up, as if the sun were out nice and bright, with a smile Discord looked around, however he then looked to Luna.

"Oh I'm sorry..is this not what you had in mind?" Discord chuckled softly "A bit of colour never hurt anyone's dream.." Sighing wishfully, the lord of disharmony almost sounded romantic. Looking back to Luna, and then the guard he sighed, before flying over to the guard and looking down at the witless batpony, he looked down at the guard with hands on metaphorical hips before leaning down and looking the guard in the eye. "..boo.." Discord spoke nonchalantly, with tired eyes and the guard simply fainted. Turning and looking back up at Luna on the balcony he outstretched his arms "How was that?" he asked with a smirk
