When Dr. Cutter didn't hear the beating of wings flapping and flying off, he concluded that they failed to take the hint. Mentally cursing, he slowly turned back around to find that they were both still standing there as though refusing to move; that or they were too scared to. If it was the latter, Cutter couldn't blame them. His race was pretty terrifying! He loved it! It made him feel powerful and important. 'course he would just be plain annoyed if it was the former. 'Stubborn fools,' is what he would think of them.
Again he looked them up and down. Gail still seemed terrified of him while the little pegasus remained quiet and brave. But what's this? The scaredy griffon appeared to have something of a backbone as she tried to make herself appear bigger and scarier than she once was; which actually worked on the changeling.
Feeling just a teeny bit nervous, Cutter stumbled over backwards landing in a large leaf pile causing the leaves to blow around in all directions while some remained behind landing on top of Cutter's head as well as the rest of his body. However, Cutter was much too upset and distracted to really care all too much. So there he remained sitting in the leaves not even bothering to move as the griffon threatened him and his well-being. His pointy changeling ears just flattened to the sides as a leaf landed on his nose tickling it. He gave a loud sneeze. During his sneezing fit, he changed form a couple of times before returning to his true changeling form. "Sorry, allergies. As a changeling I'm extra sensitive to this stuff due to my superior senses and whatnot. Please, continue," he sniffled not really noticing just how much sensitive info regarding his species he had just given out, rubbing his nose. After blowing his nose with a tissue, Dr. Cutter just sat there quietly hearing Gail out.
When he had thought she had finished, a long, tired sigh escaped the mad scientist. "I take it, you two are not very familiar with my type, so I'll go easy on you with this. First of all, I'm not going to attack you at least not right now, so you can both relax and stop freaking out. Secondly, I'm not some barbaric, heartless monster that steals your love all at once! Doing so would just be wrong and I'd like to think myself as a bit more sophisticated than that. Besides, you two are currently too...well-guarded. You're expecting me to attack, so I won't. I may be a lot of things, but I'm not stupid! I'm not about to run amok attacking every, single pony I meet in Canterlot! Not with the pony princesses so near! I've heard what they do with monsters! It's not pretty," he rather calmly admitted. He shivered and his ears flattened even more at the very thought of what the princesses may do to him should they discover him.
"No, that is not why I am here today. If you must know, I am just here to obtain the...harmless items on this list. Please, take it and see for yourself if you don't believe me," he anxiously revealed trembling all over as he nervously handed the griffon his shopping list. On it listed everyday chemicals as well as a few special chemicals one needed a permit for. Also on the list was sugar, honey, and sugary foods. The changeling had a large sweet tooth.
Again Gail spoke and Cutter mistook her offer to get him psychiatric help as an offer to help him take over all of Ponyville! As such his bright red eyes lit up with joy and feeling all happy, the changeling jumped out of the leaf pile zooming through the air before landing in front of them wearing a large smile on his face. "Really? You're going to help me take over Ponyville?! Oh wow, that would be great! Ya know for a second there I thought that maybe you were referring to like psychiatric help or something. Isn't that funny? So glad, that's not the case," Cutter exclaimed laughing. "Hey look, forget about it," he exclaimed wiping a tear from his eye due to laughing so hard, "if you two really don't trust me, feel free to accompany me on my shopping spree. I uh don't like admitting it, but I really wouldn't mind the company. Chauncy's great and all, but be nice to have some...other company every once and awhile."
