If you wannt to join the fun thep sot here with possable ideas please! the tribal elder will be my new pony Vitur! if thats ok with my hoepfully soon to be new tundra pony tribe lol.
Tundra pony tribe idea sofar:
Tribe name: snjórinn
Tribal elders: Vitur , maybe one or two more
Other members so far: Fegur-Vitur's daughter-
Vindue -Vitur's son-
Torur
[id like to have at least another 5 or 7 ponies join the tribe if possable and be active please, itd make for more itneresting tribal dynamics!]
[another note is that most ponies inthe tribe are blue or light purple, with rare pony being white]
Tribal lifestyle: The Snjórinn are primarily nomadic by nature, the seemingly hostile frozen landscape offers not much for those that stay but they have found a way to live by forging and gathering from a place what they can and moving on. The only village that stays still for the most part is called Heim. Heim is where all the tribe gathers to discuss all the important matters three times a year but it is also home to the only five permanent buildings of the tribe. Two buildings hold surplus food and material, one for the caretakers of the builds and of the elderly, sick, and wounded that live in the other building and the largest is the hall of the alherd, were the elders gather three times a year to discuss the important matters as previously stated. For the most part daily life for the strong enough to walk and work consist of setting up tents or building ice huts and living in a spot for a few days to a week depending on the resource’s of the area before moving on. For those few crafts ponies in the tribal herd, they usually stay in an area once stopped over by the herd to fashion tools or other articles to trade with other local tribes or the ‘civilized’ ponies from southern regions. The tribe as a whole is peaceful in nature, always willing to lend a hoof to those in need, be it there own, a local from another tribe or just a foreigner in the land in need of teaching to survive in the Windigo Alps.
Tribal traditions, rights, and rituals:
When a pony in the tribe comes of age they get the merkingar um vindi or 'markings of the winds' which originates from the time of 'the great arguing' when earth, unicorn, and pegasus had a uneasy time getting along and caused spirits to get mad at them. So when a pony in the tribe gets of age, they recive these markings as both a ward to help keep the spirits at bay and as a symbol of there promise to be friendly and peaceful with there neighbors, regurdless of race.
