-Personality Stuff-
Likes: Pretty much anypony who likes his way of talking. He also likes daylight, a day at the spa and his special treatment by the spa's sisters. Though he kind of hates his looks, he does like the fact that it gets him into conversations with mares a lot. But what he truly enjoys? Sharing his poems with any interested pony.
Dislikes: The way he looks like a mare, as this draws a lot of unwanted attention from the wrong gender. The dark is next, he hates depressing places too. But what he completely despises? Is ponies without a talkative attitude.
Motivation: Years back, when Genesis was just a little foal, he discovered his talent with words. Writing his first poem at the age of only seven, he discovered that he really knew how to change emotions into words. He looked like a filly back then and with the words and emotions that he showed Genesis was often teased for being a colt-cuddler. Genesis knew better than that, but it still annoyed him.
But that's no the point here. Genesis himself does the best he can to show the world that he is NOT a colt-cuddler. He hasn't been very successful yet, but it's getting there. After a few lessons in flirting from Barbed Rose, he had gotten a little better. Having studied poetry for most of his younger life, Genesis never really went out or anything. Only now is he starting to go out a little bit, outside of the library and to parties that is.
Whenever he gets the chance though, Genesis will use poetry or poetic words. Using them at times from everyday sentences to true poetry readings. Living for words and living for emotions, that's what Genesis wakes up to every morning. Both in his mind, and in his heart.
Strengths: Genesis will never give up on his own work. Once he's set his mind to something he WILL see it through to the end. Being proud at an eventual result is something that Genesis won't conceal. If he's proud of a poem, why would he conceal it? His kind heart is another, which makes it possible for him to lend a helping hoof to anypony in need of one or a shoulder to cry on should anypony need one.
Weaknesses/Flaws: His pride and perfectionism. Writing good poetry takes time and Genesis takes that to the max, sitting in the library to work on an epic poem for days on end. Next would be his lies. He doesn't lie a lot, but when he does it's always that he's a mare instead of a stallion. It gets on his own nerves, but it helps him a little. He's also extremely pessimistic when it comes down to himself, as he never really had a mare friend to tell him that he shouldn't be so nervous.
Fears: To be found out when he's acting a mare. Dark and musty places. Losing the trust of any friend that he has. But his biggest fear, something that Genesis furiously tries to avoid, is the dreaded and oh-so-deadly-for-a-poet Writer's Block.
Overall Persona: This stallion will never let anypony else down. A trustworthy friend really. Genesis won't ever give up on anypony who's given up themselves, selflessly giving up his own free time to help the poor soul. He might hate the way that he looks, but that doesn't meant that he won't use his status as a mare to fit into crowds of mares easily. He won't deceive anypony when they speak to him though, a little white-lie here and there though. Can't hurt too much right? Genesis is a very varying pony, but at least he's a friend worth having. He's a very proud pony too, when it comes down to his poetry that is. But he's also extremely pessimistic about it at the same time. Quite confusing really.
