Additional Status: Like most folk from Zebrica, Udan speaks with a rhyming accent. However, he has taught himself to stop the rhymes when necessary, and even cover his accent. Though he can often forget and go straight back to rhyming.

Dislikes: Ponies that are more clever then they should be (I.E more clever then him), cameras, having his carefully waved webs of lies unraveled (without his permission).
Motivation: To test his skills against the ponies of Equestria gain, using his repertoire of voodoo magic’s, potions and skills of trickery. He wishes to impress, outwit, and steal from the ponies of Equestria. A lot of the time he doesn’t even need their money, its all just a game to be won to him. He also has a desire to find discord, restore his power, and become his loyal servant.
Strengths: Incredible skills in, potions and alchemy, trickery and deceit, charisma, and voodoo, as well as very cunning. He’s always been very skilled with seeing the future, particularly with the help of his tarot cards. With his potions and alchemy he’s capable of various concoctions including; Illusion powders, healing potions, and temporary shape-shifting potions.
Weaknesses/Flaws: If he uses his shape-shifting potions on himself he needs to constantly watch what he says, as his upbringing makes rhymes in his very nature, and if he is distracted, its easy to let slip one or two. Udan is often kind of arrogant, sometimes over looking tiny but essential details in his plans. Also, to put it plainly, he’s a bit of a coward, if he gets into a direct confrontation that is not in his direct control he’s likely to flee or even cower in fear.
Fears: He has an irrational fear of cameras, having been taught from youth that they steal your soul. Though he knows now that isn’t true, it doesn’t stop him getting nervous when one points at him.
Overall Persona: Udanganyifu, or Udan as he is more commonly called, was born and raised in Zebrica. His farther was a respected shaman, but Uden found his skills where most proficient in bending the truth, and making his respectable talents in voodoo and alchemy seem even more powerful then they already where. Being the son of a shaman he was taught and proved to have significant talent in, voodoo, fortune telling/seeing and alchemy. He’d use this to commit all sorts of mischief in his youth.
Always being a charismatic individual, as he grew older, he’d often perform and entertain, everything from magic shows to hoof readings and fortune telling. Though was often very hard to tell how much was real and how much was smoke and mirrors. Eventually as he started to enter stallionhood, he started charging for his increasingly convincing services. An interest in money slowly turned into an obsession, he became almost addicted to attention and admiration. Finding new ways to change others perceptions of reality and themselves became almost a sport to him.
Though one day he heard about the rise of Discord in Equestria. Intrigued with the fun loving god of chaos, he travailed to Equestria to witness his craftsmanship first hoof. Unfortunately, by the time he got there Discord had long been returned to stone. Though he found no wondrous god of pranks, what he did find was a land filled with ponies that had never seen the voodoo arts. Not only where they easier to trick, but they where so much more fun to trick and interested in what he had to offer, his performances amazed, and his fortune telling had them stunned.
Eventually, our of little more then boredom, Udan began to resort to other measures to get money and praise. Even embark his voodoo doll magic to those that would pay for it. There is a small part of Udan that wants to see Discord return, a part of him that wants to find him and restore his brilliance. But for now he is content on stealing and lying to ponies. Always getting better, always finding new tactics… his master will be so impressed with him when he finally returns.
