Welcome everyone to MLP: Friendship is Magic RPG - one of the first and currently the most popular FiM roleplay site! There are no set plots, and the forum is completely free roam unless we note otherwise. Please know that it's mainly a canon RPG though, and if you were looking for a more fandom-orientated My Little Pony forum, this isn't the place for you. Site News

15/06/15: 100th episode.

With the auspicious 100th episode having come and gone, the site has changed to reflect that. After several years, Changelings are finally a playable race for the masses! While we will make sure to ensure that whomever gets a Changeling is up to scratch, it is certainly something that we never thought would happen a few years ago. Other changes include many background characters now being classed as canon so they have made their move to the appropriate list. The Wonderbolt subboard was removed and named wonderbolts should be in the claim list. We also took the chance to add in a board for Griffonstone. The show hit a land mark and it was awesome, hope we all enjoy the next 100 episodes of ponies.

08/06/14: New Forum Icons!

In the effort of making the site closer to the the feel of the show and less like any other proboards forum, CableZ has made some new icons for the site. Replacing all of the old folder images to epict new posts and "on fire" threads are the new scrolls you can see that I think we can agree work so much better with the show. Those astute among you might have noticed in your tabs a new forum icon that depicts Twilight's cutie mark! Little things I know but it all adds up to make the place feel closer to the show.

22/03/14: New Sidebars!

I'm sure you've all noticed by now that we FINALLY have new sidebars to display alongside the forum! The images were made by CableZ and edited by myself, and the coding is thanks to a friend of his who simplified it for us. More will possibly be added in the future, but we think we have enough for just now. Enjoy!

Anyway, Orchid hopes to make new friends, like I said. She does fear the Everfree forest, but she'll venture through it, anyway! Even though, her love inside Apolla is strong. She is quite the most loyal friend a pony could ever have!

Don't be frightened, I changed your topic to Serperior because that's the proper format for character applications.

As of right now, so far so good, albeit uncompleted, but I'm curious to know why her name is a Pokemon name. And a snake Pokemon at that.

Yes, the name needs to be changed.
Try being original, maybe?
There's a handy name generator here actually, if you're having a hard time though...

Also a few more points.
Regarding your character's family, you're free to form as many relatives as you want, and name them. You may or may not play them as well, but what other people have been doing is allowing other users "adopt" them.

Also you're going to have to elaborate a bit more on her persona. Just enough to develop the character. Nothing more than a few sentences, maybe even a paragraph?

Well, it isn't the best it could be, but it's acceptable. If you want to make a really good app for her mother, then expand a little more on each part of the Personality section. Try and explain why they're afraid of something, or what makes them really good at whatever it is they do.
