Gilda

Just as a little disclaimer, I kinda wanted to take on Gilda and revamp her a little. I'm a sucker for redemption, and if there's a character in MLP that could use it, Gilda definitely stands out. As such, here's a profile for a Gilda who's trying to turn over a new leaf.

-Personality Stuff-

Likes: Flying, Competition, and "cool" things
Dislikes: Anything "lame", childish, or boring
Motivation: To be one of the coolest flyers in Equestria
Strengths: While not the most pleasing griffons around, it can't be denied that she has skills befitting her race. She's a quick and agile flyer, as well as strong. Gilda is actually decent when it comes to those she considers friends; her past relationship with Rainbow Dash displayed her better qualities as a friend.
Weaknesses/Flaws: She can be mean, rude, and a bully. Gilda has spent so long focusing on being cool and image that she's failed to recognize how judgmental she's truly become. Furthermore, Gilda seems incapable of admitting to being wrong on matters. Feeling backed into a corner, she is more likely to lash out or run from the situation.
Fears: Being uncool and not having a friend again
Overall Persona: Ever since her first visit to Ponyville, it's been made overly apparent that she is a mean-spirited griffon whose only concern is being cool. Going back to Cloudsdale, Gilda tried her best to carry on with her life, but the loss of Rainbow Dash as her closest friend left Gilda feeling as though she didn't know herself anymore. She was unable to concentrate on her flying and felt as though something was weighing her down all the time. Soon, she found herself lashing out at everyone in anger over the littlest things, pushing away any hopes of friendship in Cloudsdale.
Eventually, after a bit of soul searching and more harsh words from friends she pushed away, Gilda realized she was becoming lonley and decided that she needed to try and change herself. Otherwise, she'd never be able to escape the rut she'd fallen into. To do that, the griffon felt the best place to try and start would be the very place she lost her best friend, Ponyville.
