"Oh! I see. The race course would be an excellent decoration to this house. I mean, with the swimming pool in the backyard and the race course in the sky, this house is perfect!" Slide and Crash were both outside admiring the racing course floating in the sky. "What should we do now? Well it hasn't been a full hour yet. We already had breakfast and I'm not really hungry at the moment." Slide was beginning to feel bored. "You know what, I'm going to go for a swim in the pool. I'll go get my swimsuit, cap, and goggles first."
Slide flew over to the front door and went inside, closing the door behind him. Flying to the master bedroom, he opened the closet. Taking out his saddlebag, he searched for his swimsuit. After a few minutes, he found what he needed. The swimsuit, goggles, and swim cap were colored black and ready to be put on. Slide trotted into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He slipped on his swimsuit, tucked in his mane into the swim cap, and made sure that the goggles were over his eyes. Satisfied, he flew to the back door, opened it, and trotted outside.
"Crash! I'm in the backyard now! I'll be swimming some laps in the pool!" Now the swimming pool only had one lane. The rest of the pool was for recreational use because that part of the pool had a diving board and a slide. Slide made sure he had a towel ready and jumped into the pool. "BRRRR! This water is freezing!" Slide shivered as he tried to get adjusted to the water. He got out of the pool and began to stretch. Flexing his wings, stretching his legs, hoofs, and anything else he needed to stretch, Slide was ready to swim. Diving into the swimming lane, he began to swim down the lane, taking a breath every two strokes of freestyle. Each time he reached the end of the lane, he did a flip turn to begin swimming another length of the lane. After swimming 20 laps, Slide was a bit tired. "Goodness!" Slide gasped. "I haven't swam like that since I swam in the clouds when I was a little colt."
Slide was too exhausted to even realize that his swimsuit was now floating in the pool. During his second to last lap, the strings that were tied together to keep the swimsuit on came loose. He trotted over to a lounge chair, took off his goggles, and laid down on the chair, unfurling his wings and spreading out his legs, giving an embarrassing view to anypony within a considerable distance.
