After the pole comment, Thunder Cracker seemed to completely explode into laughter. Both Dark Star and Slipstream were surprised to see such an act take place the way it did. Slipstream thought it was definitely funny and all, but couldn't help but wonder if TC had ever really gone to comedy acts often. He just kept rolling on the floor, laughing at what was said and moistened the carpet with the tears he said. "Some-pony oughta coin that phrase, rolling on the floor laughing. It sounds like it'll really take off' Slipstream pondered for a short moment.
Eventually, the orange stallion managed to pick himself off the ground and calm down. Afterwords, he opted to try his luck at cooking and provide the snackadge for the event, to which Dark Star smiled. "I'd certainly imagine how capable a man of your qualities would be in the kitchen" she stated. Though in her mind, she was picturing him trying to make toast and setting the entire kitchen on fire as a result. The stallions she knew in the valley weren't really known for their cooking abilities, more or less their strength and cunning. There were a few good cooks hidden in the woodwork from time to time, she was just never that interested in finding them.
Slipstream had certainly warmed up to the idea though. She stretched her wings out a bit and then curled them back in after a short moment. "I really wanna try out what ya can make though. If it was from you, I'm sure it'd rock" she complimented. Suddenly, she thought of being a busy construction worker coming home to her house-husband, him wearing a big pink apron with a green heart on it. Just the thought alone made her chuckle under her breath. Still, being around Dark Star unconsciously allowed her to keep her composure, no matter how awkward the situation would've been.
