Slipstream was speechless for the second time today as Thunder Cracker completely confessed. She knew she was blunt, but he was incredibly forward. Some red found it's way across her normally-cyan fur and she started pawing at the cloudy surface below. "Wow...you really spoke your mind, huh...?" she asked in unsure tone herself. Much like her roommate, Slipstream was known for always having something to talk about, but not in this case where all she could really do was sit still.
Her face and body both burnt up and she started feeling a little winded. Her wings flared out and flapped a few times, completely independent of Slipstream's will and then folded themselves back up again. She looked into his eyes and put on a brave face. "I...I feel for you too, Thunder Cracker" she finally said. It was difficult for her to say it when she meant it, but she eventually managed to say it in the end. "When we met earlier this morning, I didn't know what ta think of ya. I guess I just thought you were just another pony for the most part. After coming to the park and then up here, I was certain that this was how I felt about you" she said warmly.
Her heartbeat accelerated a bit more, but more importantly, the wind picked up a bit. The way the wind spoke to her, it told her to do something she didn't have the heart for. 'Are you out of your mind?' she mentally asked the wind. It merely blew through her mane, pointing her hair-tails towards Thunder Cracker. The wind's insistence proved itself to be a pain for the only one able to hear it. 'Alright, fine...I'll do it...' she thought as she closed her eyes through a pained expression. Without any warning, Slipstream lunged forward and pinned Thunder Cracker down onto the cloudy 'ground', her hair hanging down over her shoulders and onto his body. She silently stared at him intensely, her face flushed and her heart beating like a drum. She leaned in slightly, her already rapid heartbeat accelerating even faster.
