Morning Ponyville (Concluded)

If anyone was happy it would be Thunder Cracker because he out of all people was glad of Slipstream's decision. The park is a beautiful place for any pony curious enough to venture forth. It is always a good place to go when you don't have a clue when to in the first place. He has visited the park countless of time and, have seen many pegasi flying in the clouds above it on numerous occasions. It seemed Slipstream had the same idea of flying as well..just in a different point of view. He can see why the out breeze flows through that area fluently and smoothly. Plus the open fields are perfect for beginner fliers to train in aerial maneuvers. This could be an opportunity to see Slipstream prove how skilled she really is also.

"That sounds like endless fun Slipstream I would be happy to go of course." Why the day seemed a little bit brighter now. Nothing like a nice big jolt of excitement and anticipation to get a stallion all jumpy...well on the inside anyway. His expression had changed quite quickly in reference to the whole park thing. He wasn't putting on a humongous cheezer of anything but it was still a smile. If he wasn't careful he might have galloped right past Slipstream anytime he chose to only to be out ran by her aerial tactics or, maybe she would play fair. No that would happen not in a millennium of time but TC couldn't resist the temptation and, since neither of them could wait why not right.

TC speeds up so he could get in front of slipstream he then turns around and follows it with a back trotting motion.

"Hey Slipstream if you don't mind I would like to challenge you to a race. First one to the park wins." And with that all TC could do now is wait for her response.

[Dark Star]

Slipstream was on her only little cloud of happiness once TC agreed to go with her to the park. Ever since she first came to Ponyville, the park has been the best place for her to do pretty much anything. Playing, practicing, anything that she could do that involved her moving, she could do it at the park, and she enjoyed every second of it. TC walked a bit passed her, surprisingly more enthusiastic about going than she was. She cantered behind him and quickly closed the distance. After a few seconds, TC turned back and suddenly challenged Slipstream to a race. BIG mistake.

Slipstream narrowed her eyes and put on her game face-a wide grin that seemed to burn with competitive spirit. "You're on!" she exclaimed before bursting into a full-blown gallop. The green-maned mare dashed straight forward with a pace normally reserved for small flights, and only when it was with good company. As she galloped, she could see all kinds of different ponies watching her in another one of her little races. Slipstream wasn't as popular for her athleticism as another pony everyone knew about, but she was known pretty well for events such as that. She narrowly avoided a few collisions by subtly shifting her weight, jumping, and even resorting to some small glides. Her heart was racing, absolutely thrilled with the race. Even if it wasn't her preferred racing style, she was still thrilled regardless to race.

Before she knew it, she'd made it to the park with time to spare. She glanced back and saw that TC was in close second, barely a few hairs away in fact. She gave her legs a quick stretching and then flared her wings out in pride. Being a pegasus, Slipstream was born with a naturally athletic build, albeit a stronger-than-average pair of wings. To compensate for it, she had to work through several years worth of bodily training to make certain her body would be able to function if she wasn't able to fly for some reason. The end result being that she was well-versed in both running and flying, being competent in both aspects surprisingly well. Happy with the race-more importantly, the victory-Slipstream gave TC a special consolation prize; she wrapped a fore-leg around the stallions shoulder and gave him a one-armed embrace, followed by a small cracking sound she could hear just faintly.

Her expression changed from ecstatic to worried as she retracted her leg and inspected the damage. One massive downside to building up the strength in her body is that quite often, she actually managed to cause a lot of harm to other ponies who weren't used to her strength. Broken shoulders, crushed bones, you name it, she's been the cause of it whenever she got excited. The only real silver lining to this is that she usually wasn't intense enough to cause any permanent or even long-lasting damage. She leaned in close enough for their muzzles to be inches apart, asking TC "Are you alright?" in a sweet, nurturing voice.

(OOC: Sorry about the wait Dark Star I don't know what was stopping me from replying in the role play.)

Have you ever done something so simple and then only to have the most Ironic outcome happen to you? This was one of those moments. You see Thunder Cracker had different intentions in challenging Slipstream the way he did. The first one was of course to get to the park in a fast yet fun way. So he figured that a race is a good option. The second mistake was that he didn't think about how much of tactics she may have compared to a pony who hasn't really done this activity much. And the third and final major mistake. TC like any other simple headed pony at this time thought that Slipstream would mostly take to the skies since that is where she is strongest. Little did he no of the side attribute that she had the whole time. With this being said let's take a look on how things happened thus far from that point on shall we?...

"Awesome!; We can start as so as you are ready ok?" TC in mere seconds just then noticed that Slipstream was already prepared to dart off. Unfortunately for him he wasn't and this left a major guard open waiting to be smashed apart. When Slipstream bolted from her stance she had created a very strong gust of wind currents in the process. TC was practically in all of that wind he being right in front of her when she passed. He couldn't see her at all; she was like one swift blur then out of nowhere a gust of wind hit and TC was sent spiraling in the air. Thunder Cracker had no choice but, to flail his hooves in all directions and yell in fear from his aerial state. Thunder Cracher collided hard into a wall which for some reason also sent him falling on top a set of trashcans making a racket in the process. TC was shaken greatly by this; he didn't believe what he was seeing. As soon he got up he scanned the sky being sure that Slipstream would be up there. However with a reaction to the noise from the direction to where she bursted off to Slipstream was right there in the distance galloping at a very fast speed. She was actually playing fair??!! TC couldn't believe it at first but, most of all he gained a whole truck load of respect and admiration for her. Just then he found a personal connection that he would cherish greatly for now on but, TC had to regain focus on this race he started.

Thunder Cracker immediately bolted into action chasing after Slipstream as his speed kept growing and growing in the process. However his neck region was aching him as he dashed on, That impact with the wall had really jolted him he figured. But TC doesn't shy away from a delema much like ththis one. As Slipstream weaved,jumped, and speed pass all the on lookers In this 2 pony race he picked up quickly on his movement then copied Slipstream's just adding a little more force into it. This was a technique he learned from his sister and dad when they use to go outside and just play around or do some kind of exercise together.

TC's ground on Slipstream was getting smaller but, so was the distance to the park and Thunder was still a little to far back to have a winning chance. TC spotted a knocked over entrance sign on the ground a little to the right of the road that the race was currently on. With luck that assumed shortcut may head right into that path of the race and, He could regain ground. Without question TC headed for that shortcut. It was small and littered with many annoying obstacles that were getting in the way. Soon enough TC noticed that his elevation of ground was getting higher....VERY much higher. But determined on beating Slipstream he pressed on to when eventually the end of the path was showing itself and luckily it did in fact cut into the race's road like TC wanted. Unfortunately the way of this path was blocked off and, the only thing left was a small side way road that was too narrow to be going through at TC's speed. So in a moments notice Thunder Cracker closed his eyes. Calmed his fears and thoughts. Then with stern eyes he sped up his hoof rythmn as much as he could. Once he got to the edge of the path he tensed his muscles, built up a lot of power in his hind legs and leaped upwards. He got a great distance going but, at his angle he was going clear the jump but crash into the random junk in front of him. Just then he saw Slipstream go by on a one-way road to victory.

Finally the idea dawned on him. Thunder cracker built up a lot of magic then focused on Slipstream's positioning. Afterwards many bright white flashes teleported TC pass each and every thing that got in his way. On the final flash TC appeared above Slipstream and landed a short distance behind her. Now it was a drag race to the finish line dead ahead. TC put everything he had into his next few trots and gunned for it. The gap between the two closed off nearly completely. TC had just then noticed Slipstream has turned her head to look at him. Just before his orange hoof hit the line that officially lead the two in the park. A light blue hoof had appeared right next to his. That hoof collided with the ground just before his did and with that it was over.

TC slid into a stop panting and huffing from all the energy he used up. He picked his head up and noticed Slipstream celebrating her victory. He was happy for her. Unfortunately it is hard to do something after you just done everything you can in a heat of adrenaline and willpower that pushes your body to a limit it is not used to. TC could barely keep his hooves stance from wobbling all over the place. He was dearly exhausted from nearly hurting himself just to break his fear. TC had a very bad case of heights and being on that path scared him very much. However that didn't stop him from doing something he truly loved. And that was making a friend. When Slipstream hugged him his injured neck and back bones had cracked from her strength. They were shaken up from all the bone jolting from his ligaments and muscles. They didn't break or fracture when she hugged him the cracking sound was just simply the bones realigning themselves to a normal posture. However this hurt to a good degree. He had his eyed closed the whole time and when he opened then he nearly froze in place on account of seeing Slipstream nearly touching their muzzles together from her being so close to his face. She had an espression of worry which was confirmed by her followed question.

"I'm ok Slipstream don't look all worried I won't die of anything. I am just bruised up from that wind-style sucker punch you gave me when you blasted by earlier. I hit a wall much harder than I thought I guess."

TC looked Slipstream in both of her eyes while his pupils being sweet and calm aligning with hers.

"But next time we race I am gonna beat you no doubts needed but, for now let's just enjoy our time in the park since we are here." TC gave a small smile and a wink..Trademark of Slipstream.

Slipstream was happy to know that TC wasn't hurt by her embrace. It wasn't the first time some-pony's put up a brave farce in front of her, but it was still a good thing to know. Her expression sunk quickly though as he mentioned the wind blast she left for him to deal with. She blushed and glanced off to the side. "Yeah, sorry about that. Whenever I just take off like that, I usually leave a big gust of wind in my wake. It's something I just forget to warn ponies about" she explained. If she wasn't embarrassed before, she certainly was now. The wind was always an important part of Slipstream's life, ever since she first discovered what it was like to have the wind all around her. One could almost say that she was born in the wind. Memories of the same problem happening all over Cloudsdale came rushing back to her. Foals learning to fly FAR before they're ready, bits of the cloudy city being blown away, all sorts of wind-related issues really. She was so problematic when she was a filly.

Realizing that she hadn't said anything, Slipstream opened her eyes and found herself blankly staring into Thunder Cracker's eyes. The blush returned and her wings flared out. "Uh...I was just thinking back to my filly-hood for a sec, don't pay any attention ta that" she rushed to state. Slipstream now felt a bit confused as to why it was her face felt so hot, and that led to her thinking she may have taken a liking to the orange unicorn, which made her smile. She'd certainly spent a lot of her time playing with stallions her age or even older, so it only felt natural to be so comfortable around them. She sat down on her haunches and directed her smile at TC. "Ya know, I feel like we're gonna be real great pals" she told him with a wide grin. A small breeze came through the park and flew through her mane, making the three tails sway bountifully.

Once again, she found herself merely staring at him with a blank expression. The green-maned mare couldn't tell what it was, but there was something about him that made him much more unique than any of the other stallions she'd spent her time with, but she mostly just put it off as being because of how he challenged her. Maybe it was something about him being a rival figure to her or something. It would certainly explain the rapid heartbeat after all. For now, she'd have to just relax and focus her efforts on just getting to know him. "So, ya live in Ponyville long?" she asked to get the proverbial ball rolling.

"Forgive and forget Slipstream that is how I take it." He didn't want Slipstream to take anymore guilt about the accident that happened. She had no reason to it was his idea anyway. He did appreciat her concern but, in all respect he felt like it had taken its roll already. Now it is just a time to make good memories starting now. Slipstream had taken a seat by now. Thunder Cracker had his eyes on her the whole time. She was thinking of something...something possibly important. Her movements as a whole at this point seemed to be mostly stationary. So where ever she was it was sectioned off from the rest of the world. TC's head had tilted to the right now, (Technically the left if viewed from Slipstream's POV) it was kind of like when an animal usually a cat would have their head tilted in a fashion to when you could tell they are curious of something about you but, you don't usually realize it because it is so cute at first glance almost every time. His head was just like that for a decent amount of time. He didn't notice of course until Slipstream had actually noticed him again and revealed to him what she was thinking about. Just then he realized that the world seemed to be at an odd angle which is when his head regained its normal posture after.

"I don't mind you taking a trip down memory lane. Just be careful on what it is you are think about. Not that it is any of my buisness but I amm just saying even if a memory is important to you it should never only have the effect of making you feel bad ok?"

TC stated that only because he knows how dangerous a bad memory can plague a pony's mind set and true nature. By the look on Slipstream's face from whatever she was thinking might not have been a good thing. So he just wanted to make sure she wasn't hurting her mental strength. TC decided to move on from that point on. He trotted to a nice and shady tree. Untightening the straps he put his saddle bag down in the grass next to the wooden statue of nature. In a following action TC found a comfy spot to take a seat of his own. Using his hooves he checked the soil for any disturbances that could cause discomfort then went ahead and sat down on his bum somewhere near Slipstream. His white tail was curled in a flowing "S" shape in the grass behind him. Just then a soft gust of mind had blown in his mane soon after he sat down blowing it to the right slightly. His hair was already moved to that side of his face so it wasn't effected that much. Thunder Cracker was just letting the area around him sooth his mind and body. Actually his injuries from the race had healed at this point also making it twice as relaxing. On account of Slipstream's voice he turned to her direction in a peaceful manner.

"That's great to hear. I had lots of hope me and you would have some kind of connection because I really love our time a lot Slipstream. You just make me calm and happy for some reason I don't know how." TC was giving those small closed-mouth smiles again. It seemed Slipstream always made him smile. He doesn't know how but she must has that kind effect on him naturally. At this time he decided not to go through with his childish pay back he planned earlier. It just wasn't important anymore. Again the blue pegasus had caught his attention. And once more he was eager to hear what she had to say. This time it was a question on TC's time spent here. He has not thought about this topic in a while so the memory was fuzzy at first. Thunder Cracker had gotten out from his sitting posture. His joints were locking up and needed to be undone. He planted his front hooves firm in the ground. Then leaned forward until his hind legs were fully extended giving them a good stretch. It was kind of like a form to that a pegasus would use to have their hind legs kick off and give their take off a powerful boost in launch. The muscles had flexed and tightened up which made them a lot more visible unlike if they where relaxed and probably hidden. This kind of helped in stretching his legs out too. He was in this pose for short time then regained his last form of sitting down but this time facing Slipstream.

"I have lived here a long time. Actually I was born here to be exact. Kind of a fun place to be and has lots of stuff to do."

TC got up once more trotting over to his saddle bag and took out a few pictures of when he was younger. His hair wasn't shaped normally so TC kind of looked like a filly actually. (His dad is in those pictures too just in case you needed that info that info. His dad is of average adult stallion size just a lot more fit looking. He has a white pelt/coat. He usually wear's his military uniform with sunglasses either in front of his eyes or resting on his forehead which makes his eyes view able. Speaking of his eyes; they are just a darker version of TC's just purple/redish instead of purple/pinkish. The mane is in a normal stallion mohawk style. It is NOT dyed any color except the natural brown with a two-tone of light brown filled with in it. The tail is only brown and ends at the knee area. The last facial feature are the black spike birth marks similar to TC's but longer and are found on the usual end corners of both eyes.) TC releases the pictures from the lips of his mouth and spreads them apart for Slipstream to see clearly.

"I visited a few other towns such as Cloudsdale when I took trips with my dad. I was a colt back then and my hair was actually weirder. Some of the ponies back then before they even met me thought I was actually a filly which was so embarrassing.

Thunder Cracker's face started blushing all over again in thought of that embarrassing secret. He never really shared that one come to think of it because TC figured he would get end up just as he is now. But he figured Slipstream might as well had known now since she has done nothing but give him beautiful memories of today to remember as long as he lived.

Slipstream had noticed how TC walked over to her, something that made the wind start to blow again. However, unlike any of the other times where the wind blew, this time it was calm and practically told Slipstream to sit still. It was a strange thing for the wind to tell her, seeing as how it normally told her to move. A little change was certainly a welcomed idea for her though, so she merely did as instructed. At that time, TC began taking her down his own memory lane, and after he had given her a small speech about not letting bad memories get the better of her. The sentiment was nice, but the pictures were nicer. He'd laid out a few pictures he had of himself when he was a colt, which Slipstream found absolutely adorable. "Aw, foals always look so cute!" she beamed. Her wings stretched out and flapped a couple times due to the excitement building up. TC then explained how he'd been born and raised by a military-looking pegasus stallion. He'd also been to Cloudsdale for that matter, which Slipstream really warmed up to.

"Well, guess it's too bad you were born a unicorn. You and I woulda gotten along great in Cloudsdale, also the place I was born, by the way" she cheered. Suddenly, the thoughts of Cloudsdale weren't so bad. "It's funny though, you'd have been my first friend back then. The thing is, I was born during a really stormy week, and a lot 'o ponies think of it as a sign of a bad flyer. Guess I proved 'em wrong though, since I'm one of the best flyers to ever come outta Cloudsdale" she stated. Her facial expression changed from charming and cute to proud and confident. She always got like this when she spoke of how great a flyer she was, which only accentuated her personality to all those around to hear it. Her expression softened though as she took another look at TC when he was a colt. He was certainly right about one thing, he did look a lot like a filly. "He's still really cute though" Slipstream accidentally said out loud.

Thunder Cracker couldn't help but laugh at Slipstreams' response. "Well it is hard to argue with the obvious." The orange unicorn was lighting up with happiness. It was a good moment to share. She was happy and he was happy nothing really wrong here. TC wondered what else they could do in the park besides have flashbacks left and right. He had to think of something because things were just starting to get good; very good in that matter. Oh who cares it is best to just go with the flow right now anyway. No need to over think this one. Heck there was no reason to think about it at all. Slipstream and Thunder Cracker are fun in their own ways so putting the two together just brings simple ideas into play. TC noticed Slipstream was getting all excited again. She changes emotions really fast TC thought. Just as fast as she flies actually. She was telling TC about the ironic twist to here birth and her talent. A very fascinating factoid to know about a pony if TC had anything to say about it; which he did.

"That's is really awesome Slipstream. Nothing stimulates the mind more other then a good reality check of irony. Just goes to show you are definitely a pony that has a strong will in my book." TC chuckled just a little. "Why is it that you always seem to impress me somehow?" Today was shaping out to be an awesome day for sure. And to think if TC didn't go outside and run random laps around his block he would never get to meet a mare such as Slipstream. That name made Thunder Cracker smile every time he thought about it. In fact just looking at her made him smile or blush depending on the situation. Why was that anyway? It was just so weird to him to realize. He has only done this kind of thing on a couple of occasions. However those were usually when he feels a certain way about somepony. But TC has never felt that way so quickly before so it just left TC with a blank. What were these feelings and why couldn't he get rid of them? A question that needed to be answered.

Some where during all this Slipstream had stated it was disappointing that TC wasn't a pegasus because then they would have met sooner. Thunder Cracker had thought about that kind of thing many times before. He didn't really like to though. He was happy with what breed he was born as. Every breed Is special even if it seems like it is not. That is how TC felt and it is how he will always feel. "I agree that it would be certainly nice to meet you quicker. But even so as longer as we would have a great connection I wouldn't care when we met honestly."

Again something TC meant as seriously as possible. However that was briefly interrupted by TC's confusion of his feelings towards Slipstream again. He could have swore that he was sure on how he felt about her but now he wasn't so sure anymore. The thought was annoying him to a pretty bad degree. He wanted to figure it out but he just couldn't. He needed a hint or guide on what it was and he needed it soon before he went crazy. And then here comes some random life demon casting it's evil magic again that makes TC and Slipstream go through weird moments all the time; or at least that's how TC takes it.

Thunder Cracker wasn't paying attention completely at the time but he has some very descent hearing senses so he picked it up pretty clearly. His ears had perked up when he heard it. The sound was short and wasn't directed in anyway. It was kind of said like an outside thought. The sound was definitely from Slipstream no doubt but what she said was what tripped TC's mind. The pegasus had said "He is still cute 'though'." He was sure that was how it came out but the trick part was the word though in that sentence.

"Wait what was that Slipstream? What do you mean He is still cute though? Are you talking about me?" TC was baffled more than ever now. The idea nearly made him blush AGAIN but, he didn't allow it. At this time now TC had TWO questions that needed answering.

"I-I was just thinking that, I didn't mean to say it out loud!" Slipstream retorted as her wings flared out. Subtly was something Slipstream was practically famous for back in Cloudsdale, so why is it now of all times was the time her body had to choose to start slipping up? She mentally cursed herself for getting so easily infatuated with the orange unicorn, she-'Wait, I'm thinking of him like that suddenly?' she realized.

To any-pony watching, they would see an orange unicorn stallion sitting next to a cyan-blue pegasus mare with her wings flaring out and her face flushed. It'd be a strange sight for any individual fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to walk by at this time.

"L-look, Thunder Cracker, I was just talkin' about the photo of you as a colt is all. I didn't mean for things to get awkward" Slipstream explained. She took a deep breath and glanced away from TC for a moment, the blush still burning right through her skin and coat as she shifted awkwardly on the grassy ground beneath her. 'Why can't I face him right now? I've been around tons o' guys before?' she mentally worried.

In the past, it didn't matter who it was, Slipstream was able to get along them extremely well, no-pony getting mad or awkward or anything. Any stallion she'd met, she got along with them extremely well. Onyx Bass, Silver Glow, Crimson Tale, (All OCs of other people I've RP'd with) and many more were rushing through her, and each one of them, she'd usually gotten the better of. Now she was left sitting awkwardly next to a stallion she seemed to have developed feelings for, and only within a few minutes of knowing him for that matter. "...Just like Sun and Moonslicer" she muttered under her breath. "L-look, can we just move on from here?" she asked, desperate to change the subject and calm her nerves.

(OOC: I don't know about you but this roleplay is starting to get entertaining. Funny what awkward moments can create isn't it. Anyway will bold TC's dialog more so you can see it better with out me having to make it a separate paragraph on its own so it's fair for both of us because your posts are clean and wonderful to read in my opinion.)

Thunder Cracker couldn't except they cyan pegasus' response when she said it at first. She did that usual thing when her wings unfolded...again. However he was unfazed by that already. Her facial expression is what caught his attention so fast. Her odd reaction gave the clue she was obviously thinking of something at the time. He doesn't know exactly what it might be but, it was something he wanted to know. "Well even if you didn't mean to say it out loud. What lead you to think something like that in the first place?" TC wanted to push the question to get an answer but, he thought about it before he did. If he had someone react this way to him it would be more than just hard to evolve around it would be plain awkward for such blunt action. Besides it is kind of rude to force some pony else to do something they are completely not comfortable with unless it was a friendly joke between good friends or some other similar circumstance. So he decided to just calm his nerves to try to find an alternative on this random situation he started.

On thing for sure was Slipstream felt uneasy about this because she was blushing more than he thought he would ever see from her. This was confirmed because she took a deep breathe and then turned her sight away from him refusing to even look at Thunder Cracker. Not in a silent treatment type of way; it looked like she was just having a moment when it's hard to focus straight after effect. He has had those before so Thunder Cracker figured that might have been her current mind set. She was shifting her movements and everything; 'what is going on in that head of hers?' TC changed his vision back to the nature in the park not wanting to work his brain out on trying to mind read a pony he just met that is just falter use of energy. At this point it was beyond awkward this situation has went pass that now because all that he could hear was wind. Slipstream eventually spoke up to TC again. "Oh...I guess that makes sense." TC felt better now that he was informed on his much needed question. Slipstream had asked for them not to move further in this subject which his was fine with. " Sure Slipstream I have no problem with that. If you want I have some sandwiches in my saddle bag we can eat."

However even with that whole mess over. The last thing was still his overwhelming feelings for Slipstream he needed to take a self look on. TC didn't know were in the hay they came from and how it happened. But as time grew so did those emotions. Thunder Cracker was getting frustrated by how in the dark he was. Every time he looked at Slipstream his emotions went all crazy inside him. It was impossible to avoid thinking about it which was driving TC insane. "Why is it so hard to figure this out? What is it that is so special about her that makes me feel this way? I just can't even think straight now." TC said to himself in a cold fashion. He was getting very bothered by his ideals so he probably didn't realize he was taking to himself unaware of his voices actual volume. But he didn't care at all. TC just couldn't hold in his confusion and frustration too well anymore at this point he might as well have given up on trying to solve it before he lost his cool.

Thunder Cracker seemed to be alright with changing the subject and even offered a sandwich or two Slipstream's way. With a slight grumble from her stomach, followed by a mild deepening in her blush, she gladly accepted. "Might be a good idea to get somethin' in my stomach" she stated with a smile. Eating would also help out in her ability to think, something she learned from Dark Star in fact. "The reason why it is you need to eat in the morning is because food not only energizes your body, but also your mind" she remembered her saying.

After getting into a more comfortable position on the grass, Slipstream looked around and saw that the two ponies were practically alone in the park. Her heart nearly skipped a beat at this realization, deafening her to the world if not for the small mumbling she could hear from Thunder Cracker. Her heart beat fast enough that she could probably have a race with it should it exist in real life. Her feelings for Thunder Cracker were something she had next to no understanding of, so being so nervous around him was just as foreign a concept. She would be distraught longer had she not heard the sound of humming followed by a cart being dragged.

She looked up ahead and found a familiar white stallion with a long, blonde mane. He was dragging a small cart full of potted flowers and humming a merry tune with his eyes closed. Slipstream beamed right away and flew over to him excitedly. "Morning Sun, nice timing!" she stated excitedly, hovering in front of him with a vigor he could sense even with eyes closed. "Ah, good morning, Slipstream. What brings you out so early in the morning?" he asked with his usual charming deep voice. "Oh, ya know, the usual; pallin' around with a new friend o' mine" she responded. Sun looked at her as if she just said something in a foreign language. "What, somethin' on my face?" she asked in defense. "Yeah actually, your face is all red. Am I interrupting something?" Sun inquired. Slipstream's eyes went wide, then she flailed her fore-legs in front of her in a toonishly-comedic fashion. "Nothing's going on here!" she announced more to herself than Sun.

Sun merely shrugged his shoulders and trotted over to the tree where TC was sitting. "I'm guessing by 'new friend', she meant you, correct?" he asked. "My name is Morning Sun, it's a pleasure to meet you" he introduced. Sun was absolutely certain that she and this unicorn had something going on with them early that morning, but he wasn't about to suss the two ponies just yet, he needed some time to gather information. Slipstream flew back over and joined the two stallions' conversation, smiling with the same enthusiasm as before, but now accentuated with an off-putting blush. 'Please, Celestia, let Sun be my saving grace' she mentally prayed.

(OOC: I thought that Slipstream and TC's conversation was going nowhere, so I spiced things up a bit with another one of my characters showing up, my only stallion character for that matter. Don't worry; Even though Sun is 3 years older than Slipstream, their relationship is strictly platonic)

Brunch....Breakfast and Lunch mixed up into a catchy yet very stupid nickname. TC didn't have anything to check the time but, the day still seemed to be some what early. In any case the orange unicorn was probably far from the correct time. Then again in defense the park was very quiet. He couldn't hear any other kind of noise. Also TC was not hungry that much anymore. At first he felt like he should have eaten his sandwich because he was starving but, when he actually began to eat it TC soon realized that he would barely even finish half of it. At least this would pass on time so another interesting thing could come by because right now the conversation between Slipstream and Thunder Cracker just backfired into a supernova destroying any further ideas to be held. If anything this sandwich had helped TC through his frustration to where he could think normally again so in terms that is two positives now.

A random small gust of wind had blown straight into TC flowing all over his body which left him kind of cold. He could hear Slipstream's hooves rustling in the grass so he figured she was gonna take off like she did on the bench. He mentally played it out. She would say some kind of wind related pun or apologize for whatever disturbance she may cause then..."Whoosh" of she would go. To him that sounded accurate so he even decided to have a little fun and count down in his mind. Three...two...one...? No whoosh was heard oddly. Thunder Cracker could not help but look up to where Slipstream was sitting. She was indeed gone but, with no 'whoosh' TC was in the dark completely on this one. He tilted his up to the sky and searched all around for her only to just come up short in results. Where in equestria did she go? TC didn't notice until he looked back down and, scanned the park as well. Then his purple eyes had locked on to his cyan coated friend talking to another stallion with a white coat, blonde mane, and was pushinf a cart filled with who knows what. At least he knows where she went.

Thunder Cracker had a feeling this new stallion was a friend Slipstream had known long before she and TC did by how she had rushed over there so fast. He stopped paying any mind after a while. When TC retraced his attention he noticed he had dropped his sandwich trying to look for Slipstream. Thunder Cracker rolled his eyes in annoyance to this and just looked in his saddle bag again for something to do. He found his notebook of songs he made, or was going to make and decided to read through it. He read the lyrics and other things added to each song he could find in record time. In Thunder Cracker's mind he could remember the beat patterns that were previously designed for each song he read. Interrupting TC's thoughts another sound of hooves in the grass had made their way to his ears. That same stallion from before had trotted up to him not taking any hesitation to introduce himself. TC had no other choice but to give a formal greeting of his own. "You would be correct in that guess. Good to meet you Morning Sun my name is Thunder Cracker however if you want to you can call me TC for short." In about a few seconds Slipstream had returned to the tree which now made this hangout a capacity of 3 ponies.

[Dark Star]

Sun's kindness held no bounds this morning. He'd gotten up, got set for work early, then headed out to the park with a cart full of flowers. He certainly wasn't expecting Slipstream to be up so early though, so he had somewhat of a surprise waiting for him. She unknowingly introduced him to a friend that she seemed to make mere moments before he'd arrived, and after a quick introduction, found him to be a nice individual. 'So far, so good' the blond stallion thought as he received the other stallion's name. "Well met, TC. I hope that Slipstream didn't give you a hard time when you first met her?" Sun asked in a fatherly tone. Within moments of having said that, Sun was quickly whacked in the side by the same cyan pegasus he was talking about. After a sharp grunt, he leaned down and glowered at Slipstream, whom of which returned the glare with one of her own.

"I'm not the same trouble-making filly you knew from back in Trottingham, ya know?" she stated in an annoyed tone. Sun picked himself up and got back on all fours, dropping the harness on the cart in doing so. "I'm just making sure since you always had that habit of breaking something or other" Sun retorted. Slipstream sighed and looked over at Thunder Cracker. 'Great, now he thinks I'm a trouble-maker' she feared. She looked up at Sun, secretly cursing the fact that he towered over her, and hoped his entire plan wouldn't be to ruin her reputation, or what was left of it that TC didn't know about.

Sun narrowed his eyes and glanced at the notebook TC was holding up, seeing a few musical notes written across the pages. "So you're a musician then? It doesn't really match that well with your name?" Sun inquired. "Think of it like this; The boom of his music is as loud as thunder cracking" Slipstream explained with an annoyed expression. "Ah, now it makes sense" Sun replied. "Why are you here again?" Slipstream asked. "Oh, I'm just placing a few flower pots here and there for my work. I think it's what they call landscaping" Sun explained. Now it was Slipstream's turn to go "Ah" in response. "I'd best get of your hair though, I can tell you two came here for a special reason" Sun stated with a wide smirk on his face. Slipstream knew right away that he wasn't there to save him anymore, so she had to act fast to prevent the awkwardness from returning. 

"H-hey, Sun, how 'bout we help ya out with those flower pots. What your boss doesn't know won't hurt her, right?" she offered as she immediately picked up two large flower pots and flew off with them. "Uh, I..." was the only thing sun could manage to get out before she took off with two of the pots. "Gotta appreciate the enthusiasm, I guess. So then, TC, would you like to join us?" Sun asked as he looked over at the orange unicorn.

Thunder Cracker felt like Morning Sun was a well round stallion in some cases at first. However that was just the small impression part of their meeting so there was much more to getting to know him. By the look of it Sun was taking his free time in harassing Slipstream. Right after their intros Sun had told TC that he hopes the very mare in question didn't cause any trouble to him. Thunder Cracker accidentally thought about that subject for real. So far nothing stood out to him. Most of the time both ponies were just fooling around, having a good time, and getting to know each other in their own way. But TC was quickly snapped out of his thought process by the sudden out burst from the mare that this conversation was currently about. She wasn't too happy that Sun was just freely putting her on blast like that. Thunder Cracker just then suggested he should probaly speak up before this went on for to long. "No she did not cause me any trouble. It is quite the opposite matter of fact she is helpful in many ways more than one. And certainly a wonderful mare to meet once you get to know her. Heck that is just how the world is for some ponies anyhoof." Unfortunately his step in didn't seem to help much. Because as Slipstream got sort of defensive and Morning Sun just found more ways to enjoy himself. Well Thunder Cracker did hope for something interesting to happen; looks like he got his wish. On the down side now it looked like Slipstream herself wished Sun would instead disappear or, better yet find a new subject.

Unexpectedly the other stallion had not failed to notice TC's song book. So of course as a follow up to that observation Morning Sun decided to state verbally that he solved the mystery that TC is a musician or at least what he called him. The next thing the white stallion said had thrown Thunder cracker off guard. He had mentioned how he felt that TC's name didn't match his talent. It was ironic how the orange unicorn had nearly thought the say thing when he first met Slipstream later today. Speaking of the pegasus she took no time what so ever to jump in and fill Sun in on the same thing she told TC when that question came up. What was this conversation coming too?!? So far TC had said near to nothing that Slipstream hasn't already pointed out herself. He didn't know how to capitalize at all to the actions taking place. Every time Thunder looked at Slipstream she seemed to get a little more on edge from Sun's presence by the minute. TC felt guilty for seeing this way but it was kind of adorable seeing her get all defensive and cross. Then again it was kind of scary because he didn't want the mare to get to a boiling point.

However yet again Sun manages to bring the worst by claiming he didn't what to get in the way of Thunder Cracker and Slipstream's "special moments" or whatever he said. As weird as that was to hear at random. The most spine tingling thing was when the white colored stallion had the most evil looking smirk TC had ever seen on his muzzle. Thunder Cracker remarked in his mind and proceed a thought that a coat of red and two symmetrical horns upon Sun's forehead would complete the stupid look on his face. TC nearly laughed a little but what hindered him was the fact that now Thunder Cracker himself was on the edge because he was sure of what Sun might have meant by that sentence alone. Luckily Slipstream seemed to catch dead on to it too. She reacted fast and suggest she and TC help with Sun's job that he explained not too long ago. So in a few swift movements Slipstream had taken two of the flower pots and, flew off before Sun could protest. "Nice save" TC thought to himself which was only because he would feel extremely nervous in that kind of situation. Left with no other choice Sun then turned his attention and, asked if TC would like to assist in the selling of flowers in pots. Before he said anything Thunder Cracker stood on all fours then put his notepad back in his saddle bag. After his essential were stored he looked at Sun directly to give a clear response. "I don't think I have much of a choice now do I." TC inspected the cart of flowers to get a quick estimate of the number in side. "Well if we can catch Slipstream we could count how much are in this cart all together. Then after that is done she can fly and I can use the teleportation spell to go from order to order much faster. Sound good to you?"

[Dark Star]

Sun was surprised at how fast Slipstream acted just to keep him around. He may not have been the brightest stallion around-ironic considering his name-yet he knew when he was cutting into something. Slipstream clearly didn't want him to leave her alone with this unicorn, meaning that she must've had some liking towards him and didn't want anything to get awkward, making his entrance perfectly timed to unknowingly help her out of it. The blond stallion couldn't help but smirk at how easily riled up Slipstream became during the conversation he had with her "date"; seeing Slipstream on edge like that was a rare sight, so he wanted to savor it as much as possible, especially after all the frustration she caused him over the time they knew each other.

After his little mental moment, Sun re-directed his attention to TC, whom of which was prioritizing the way the former should've been since the beginning. Not only was this unicorn kind towards his friend, he was also quite the organized stallion as well. "There are only 36-make that 34 potted flowers here, plus my boss laid out a few markers over where each of them should go; You'd never believe it, but she actually wrote a big "X" into the spots she wants the flowers to go with a magic marker" Sun explained. Slipstream flew back, still carrying both of the flowerpots, and sheepishly grinned. "So, where do these go again?" she asked, hesitating slightly. "Just put them on top of the "X"s you see on the ground" Sun explained.

Slipstream flew off once again and Sun chuckled. "It's funny how much she's matured. Although, I am still a bit worried about her...condition" he said as glanced back at the cart. Before TC could even get a chance to ask, Sun began talking again. "You see, according to Slipstream, she's had a problem with remembering a lot small details ever since she was a filly. I think it's just because of the occasional smack into the side of a wall from time to time, but maybe it's something else that causes it. It's funny, she actually forgot my name once until I reminded her what her silly little nickname she gave me was" Sun said with another chuckle. He picked up one of the pots and balanced it onto his back, trotting over to a park bench and carefully placing it on the "X". "Nice to see how far she's grown even with that issue of hers" Sun commented as he cantered back to the cart to pick up another pot.

So now the fun begins. An adventure of placing flower pots. Thunder Cracker would have been counting those pots for a short while if Sun hadn't spoke up. Counting isn't a problem for him it's just sometimes TC loses his place when counting something that looks exactly the same as other things. These pots were in an organized fashion so it wouldn't be that hard actually. "34 pots is a fair amount I suppose." TC replied in a mellow tone not sure on the actual criteria for a landscaper on what is easy and what is hard. Thunder Cracker didn't want to intrude on Sun's job by making it sound like an "Easy money job". Since he and Slipstream can just use their pony breed abilities to go to place to place it wouldn't be fair to speak in such a way. Speaking of places TC was not sure at all where these things even go until Sun pointed it out. "Well you know what they say?..."X" marks the spot....Yeah I know lame pun I just couldn't help myself."

In no time Thunder Cracker. Who expected to spot Slipstream coming back for directions. Had instantly started chuckling a little and the fact she left him an opening to make a sly remark. "Forgot something have we?" TC said this with a sly smirk and a eye brow raised up it enhance his little joke. To move things forward Sun filled Slipstream in on the same information that he recently told TC about the placing of these pots. Then like usual she flew off disappearing into the morning sky. Come to think of it TC figured out the reason he can never find Slipstream up there is because of how her cyan coat blends in with the sky pretty well. And her hair sort of resembles a small bunch of leaves swirling in the wind. It took him a while due to all the random situation he and Slipstream kept getting in but at least it was finally addressed.

Thunder Cracker's attention was then quickly reverted back when Sun had no problem in mentioning Slipstream had a 'condition'. TC turned his had clueless and ready to ask the obvious question but, Sun just cut it short and explained it anyway before TC could even mutter a word. Thunder Cracker's ears were perked up the entire time Sun was talking trying to gather the given information. It all made sense in that respect but, TC didn't like thinking about such a topic. It was kind of sad to hear and unpleasant to picture such things. So with all this going on Thunder Cracker could not help his urge to say something after Sun was done talking. "Well unfortunately for me I met Slipstream I guess in post-maturity time so I have yet to experience such a thing. As much as what you said about her condition makes sense I rather not dwell upon such an idea like that. It just doesn't seem to healthy for my mind to be plagued by such a sad thing. Besides I care to much of Slipstream to just let that kind of thing 'slide'. If what you say is true and continues to happen I will take it as a goal to help her with all I got until no more can be done." Thunder Cracker while following Sun's lead proceeded to grab pots and then teleport to each 'X' mark he spotted then back to the cart to repeat it again.
