A wide smile spread out across his face.
"The park, hmm?" He thought about it for a moment, a hint of amusement playing on his lips. It wasn't such a bad idea. He had been to the park a couple of times since his stay here in Ponyville. He had even taken a few mares there and was now familiar with it. There was something he had seen, a flyer of some sort and knew some sort of activity was coming to the Park. A couple of ponies passing by were whispering their excitement about it, and Onyx knew right then.
It was a perfect place to spend the rest of the day. A plan was brewing in his mind, the things he would do with Slipstream, the food they would eat, and how to end the day off on a happy note. As long as there were no hiccups in his plan, he was pretty sure that they would have a wonderful time together.
Smiling at her, he nodded his head. "Well, I think going to the park is a wonderful idea. I hear there is a carnival for the occasion." he grinned widely, holding his arm out towards Slipstream. "M'lady, shall we?" being a formal gentleman he was accustomed to when it was called for.
Turning his head around, he bowed his head to Dark Star.
"I guess we will be seeing you later, Dark Star. Don't work yourself too hard. Try to enjoy yourself, and spend some time with your special somepony as well!" And with that, he escorted his fair special somepony, for the day, towards the Park.
It was going to be interesting, and he was sure that whatever adventures lay ahead of them would make their relationship even stronger. There was still some hesitation in committing, but it was only for the day, right?
He could manage for the day.
