Gail got lost in her thoughts again. She was thinking about having a sleepover with a pony that she just met that day, but she knew it was going to be fun because she really liked Lav. Like, scary liked her. There was just something about the mare that the griffon couldn't figure out. Whether it was she actually related to Gail in some aspects or that she had a very interesting personality, the half bird was all for it. Gail felt like she had to make this night special, because she had a small feeling that Lavender has never had a sleep over before, probably from the lack of friends. Gail was just happy to be there with her, make her smile over her dorky nature.
She sat there for a few seconds, waiting for the mare to get back with food. Gail looked around, admiring the clean house. She then looked at the couch, looked at the kitchen, back at the couch, then sighed. She didn't know if her paws were allowed on the couch, or even her claws. She could scratch the couch's cloth or something. The floor wasn't that comfortable though, so she decided to walk over to the couch without asking. Though she normally had manors, the griffon felt like she could make herself at home, especially after the conversation they had earlier. So, the half lion sat down on the couch, making sure not to ruin the fabric. She then wrapped her long tail around her paws, staring at the wall.
Once she heard Lavender's voice, she turned around to look at all the food that was levitating in the air from her unicorn magic. There looked to be some crackers, fruit, and tons of other things she couldn't see. A smile appeared on her face, looking at all the food. Then her blue eyes found Lav's appearance, and that's when her whole world brightened up. "Woah, Lav. Didn't think you were the relaxed type," Gail said, the corner of her mouth sticking up. "Y'know, 'cause you're always on the edge of things, gotta keep your mane up and stuff," she said, her smiling practically being heard in her voice. She connected the ponies being relaxed always having their mane down, and ponies who are always on the edge had their manes up so it wasn't in their way.
Gail stared at Lavender for a few seconds, silence eerie in the room. "I gotta say though, it looks really pretty on you," Gail said a little quieter than normal. "You should.. keep it down more often. It's really nice. Makes you look more friendlier," she continued, tilting her head to get a better look. "Yeah, I'm standing by my words." She then turned back around, staring at the blank TV. "Oh, hopefully it's okay that I can sit on your couch. I won't make a scratch or anything. I promise," she said, raising both her claws up in surrender. "Now c'mon, weirdo. Let's watch a movie or somethin'. You can choose it."
