[Toast]

Silver nods when Dark said she was just gonna quickly talk to Slipstream. He didn't doubt that the Pegasus pony might be a bit curious over why they spent as long as they did in the bathroom, although she probably had a few ideas. Either way Silver stood there for a moment, watching Dark flick her tail back and forth. He couldn't help but bite his lip a bit.

After a moment Silver makes his way to the bedroom. When he entered he takes a moment to look around before his eyes lock on the bed. Silver was still aware just how tired he was, and it looked so comfy from where he was standing. He looks back at the door for a few seconds, wondering if Dark would care if he crawled in. She said she was only gonna be a second, but for everyone that went by Silver became more and more inpatient.

"Oh, I'm sure she won't mind." He thinks as he crawls on top, the feeling of the comforter touching his hooves made him sigh happily out loud. Before he knew it he was completely sprawled out over the blankets, gently moving his hooves back and forth against them, the feeling was oddly satisfying. When another pony suddenly plopped on the bed beside him Silver had already drifted into semi-consciousness. He opens an eye quickly to see Dark Star now beside him on the bed before closing his eyes again while stretching his body out and groaning. Reaching out with his hooves he wraps them around Dark and pulls himself too her, pressing his muzzle into her neck near her ear. His more playful side was beginning to show.

"There you are." He says. With his eyes still shut Silver begins to gently kiss the side of Darks neck. "I was wondering when you'd make it back"

[Dark Star]

Dark Star hadn't yet realized Silver was in her bed, so it was quite the shock for the astronomer pony by the time she did remember. He wrapped his hooves around her and pulled her close, kissing and licking her neck passionately. Dark Star couldn't help but let out a small moan as her whole body tensed up. She was the instigator earlier when she cuddled and kissed the stallion, but now that she wasn't in control, it made her feel an unusual, new sensation. She didn't say or do anything, she merely stayed in Silver's embrace with a deep blush on her muzzle. She looked down at him with her eyes glowing, her expression practically begging him to stop. She didn't have the time to prepare her heart for any of this, he had completely taken her by surprise. She hoped he'd be able to see through her expression and stop, but there was also a small part of her that wanted him to continue. 'To be so conflicted between my emotions' she thought as she continued the stare. 

Downstairs, however, Slipstream couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. Silver and Dark Star had only spent one day together and hadn't seen each other for a long time since, and yet the same day they're back together, they completely hit it off. Right now, she was lying there on the couch-her hair down and her body covered in a mint-green blanket-and yet upstairs, she could hear both of the unicorns going at it, and a little rough from the sound of it. 'I have to sleep on the couch while some stallion bed-wrestles my roommate? This is so not cool' she thought as she covered her ears with a pair of pillows. She knew it'd be a long night, especially with Dark Star being nocturnal, so she had to prepare for the worst. 

[Toast]

It seemed Silver had caught Dark unaware, he smiles at the sounds she makes. The feeling of control was finally back in his court, and he didn't want to relinquish it any time soon. But she didn't say anything, instead she just stared at him with those glowing red eyes of hers. Although Silver can't read her expression to stop he feels compelled to anyways, his body was giving out on him. The events of the day had taken their toll, but that was ok, he was happy with the position they were in now, just to be lying down with her was good enough. So instead he just lay beside her, smiling and gently stroking her mane. With his eyes half closed and their noses so close they were almost touching Silver found the strength to speak.

"My bold unicorn." he says to her gently. There was something stimulating about using the possessive word 'My', as though she belonged to him and he belonged to her now. Silver thought back to how Slipstream said Dark used to be such a shy pony, it made her actions seem like such a courageous move. Was she just that into him that she was able to go against her normal behaviour, or has Slipstream just done a good enough job altering her personality to be more daring. Either way he felt like he had a lot of things he owed to Slipstream today, and Silver made a metal note to find some way to thank her "How did you know when you got into that tub, that I would be so happy you did?" He says before he involuntarily shuts his eyes, doing his best to stay awake while he awaited Darks response. It was something he had been wondering. Had he been in her position he couldn't tell if he could have done the same. The risk of rejection or scaring her off, Silver knew his mind would calculate all the possible outcomes, sometimes going on instinct was difficult for him to do. For a split second he wondered it that was a trait of paranoia or not.

[Dark Star]

Silver stopped ravaging Dark Star and she felt her heart rate returning to it's normal pace. He delicately stroked her mane as he simply lied down next to her. The way things were turning out, Dark Star was almost certain that she was dreaming. She'd certainly never think that she could just hop into the tub and cuddle the pony already bathing in it, could she? She certainly hoped not. Her attention turned itself back to Silver as he dressed her, though the choice of words certainly hit their mark. "My bold unicorn", he called her. She wasn't entirely certain whether or not that was a good thing, but she'd have to save the thought for another time as Silver suddenly asked her how she knew what he wanted her to do.

She shrugged her shoulders with what little strength she had in them. "I was merely following my heart" she replied softly. She could see how he was started to lose his consciousness, so the astronomer merely watched as he drifted off into his slumber. As the time rolled on, she was given quite the extensive amount of time to think over the day and it's progression. She searched and searched, but couldn't find any answer for how things had escalated to this point. She had gotten up, taken an unusually cold shower, and spent the majority of the day resting on the couch. The next thing she knew, Slipstream knocked the door down and brought a nearly-frozen, unconscious Silver inside. The two mares brought him upstairs and set him in a hot bath to help him cool, then Dark Star hopped in and made her move. 'Well, now I know where things got unusual' she thought as she watched Silver sleep.

The next morning came by only a few short hours later. Dark Star let out a loud yawn and stretched out her body. It was much too cold to go outside and work, which also would've made her feel bad for having left Silver alone the entire night, so she stayed with him the entire evening. She hadn't moved a single muscle all night and felt sore all over. She desperately needed to stretch a bit further, but didn't want to move while risking stirring Silver as he slept. She merely caressed his mane softly and waited for the glowing unicorn to awaken, though she secretly hoped that the moment would last for as long as she wanted. 

[Toast]

Silver had all but fallen asleep before hearing Darks response. "That's good." He mumbles through his teeth with his eyes closed. He was almost completely gone now "It's important to do that sometimes." Those were the last words Silver said before he released his grip on the red haired pony and finally slipped into sleep.

Silver slept right through the night, he didn't stir or wake up once. When he finally awake his eyes remain closed as all he feels is hoof going through his mane. In fact he had awoken to subtly it was nearly impossible to tell that he had at all. In his grogginess though, his mind took its time coming to terms debating whether or not he was still in some dream scape somewhere or had awoken. But even though he felt so comfortable he wasn't sure if he wanted to try moving and risk ruining it. After a few minutes he finally opens his eyes to see the dark coloured mare in the bed with him. Memories of the previous days events come rushing back to him. For a second he still had to wonder how much of it was reality and how much may have been a dream. But it didn't take long for him to realize it didn't matter, if everything was just a dream then at least it would be a nice one, and if it was real, then that would be even better. Finally he stretches his body out, which was stiff from being so still in the night.

"Ok, this is defiantly real." He thinks while stretching, the feeling was so strong he knew he had to be awake. Once he finishes he moves his hooves and embraces Dark in the same way he did before falling asleep.

"Good morning." He says to her sweetly with a sly toothy smile, his voice a little raspy due to how early it was.

[Dark Star]

Dark Star felt happy to know that Silver had awoken. The silver stallion had embraced her once again and greeted her softly. "Good morning" she returned in a low tone, smiling warmly at him. She never wanted to leave the bedroom, she just wanted to stay here in this wonderful stallion's arms all day long. She turned and wrapped her fore-legs around him, keeping him close-by in case something turned out to go wrong somehow. She couldn't help but feel as though something were about to go wrong, right then, right there, but she didn't care. As long as she had the stallion of her dreams in her bed, she didn't care. As long as he cared for her, she didn't care. As long as-"Hey guys, you gotta see this!" Slipstream interrupted. 'As long as she doesn't do that' Dark Star thought as a scowl crossed her muzzle. 

She turned over and looked at the younger mare with an angry glow in her eyes. "What is it, Slipstream?" she asked, clearly frustrated with the pegasus' interrupting her snuggle time. Strangely, Slipstream's hair was down. A rare sight considering...well, everything that she knew about her roommate. She almost never let any-pony see her with her hair down, and the only time where she did was during times of serious importance almost immediately after she woke up. After realizing that, Dark Star also realized that something bad must've been happening. She broke out of the embrace and hopped off the bed. "What's wrong?" Dark Star asked, now clearly worried. "Take a look out the front window" Slipstream instructed as she pointed over to the aforementioned window.

Dark Star did as the younger mare instructed and looked outside, a little more than shocked to see what she did. An entire army of colts and fillies had gathered just outside and were prepared to unleash all means of icy Tatarus-themed mayhem on the house before them. "All those foals came for me and Silver. We sorta...played a little too rough and they just ambushed us one after another yesterday" Slipstream explained. Dark Star sighed and her eyes flashed a brighter shade of red momentarily. Her horn flared up in a bright-red aura and she focused her magic on the snow covering the rooftops. Within mere seconds, she covered the entire street in front of the house with everything on the roof, effectively burying every-pony below them. Slipstream smiled victoriously at the next sight; foals running away in terror every-which way you looked. Sure, it was Dark Star who'd done it, but Slipstream was practically the one who orchestrated it to begin with. "I weep for that generation" Dark Star commented bluntly before undoing her robe. 

Slipstream blushed and gave the older mare a sultry look. "Well, aren't we being forward this morning" she teased. Dark Star merely rolled her eyes and magically threw her robe over the younger mare's head. "Grow up. It's covered in sweat and I don't feel comfortable wearing it" she explained in a tired tone. Slipstream merely flipped the robe onto her back, giggling obliviously at the astronomer's annoyance. "Now if you'll please excuse us," she said as she wrapped a fore-leg around Silver's shoulder "we have some early morning snuggling to get back to" she finished in a matter-of-fact tone. Slipstream giggled once again, then flashed a warm smile to the two unicorns. "Okay, just don't stay up here too long" she cheerfully said as she headed out of the door. 

[Toast]

What a prefect start to what Silver felt would be a perfect day. The follies of yesterday were now nothing to worry about, Instead the only thing on his mind right now was the pony beside him. Oh the joys of a new relationship, so full of excitement and possibility. Silver felt so strongly for Dark too, he had only ever had a few marefriends in the past, but none of them made his stomach flutter quite as much as Dark did. As Dark wrapped her own hooves around him their bodies moved closer to each other, and Silver felt like he might be in for another smooching session any second.

That was until.

"Hey guys, you gotta see this!"

The expression on both Dark and Silvers face was identical. As Dark get up and out of bed to talk to Slipstream, Silver just remained on the bed, his face in the blankets, a dull look now on his face. He had very little interest in this thing he just had to see that just ruined that would have been a very enjoyable wake up call.

"All those foals came for me and Silver. We sorta...played a little too rough and they just ambushed us one after another yesterday"

Silvers ears instantly stood right up. It seemed that caught his interest pretty fast. Quickly he hops out of bed to look out the window, keeping his head low so to not be easily seen. He was defiantly still a little gun shy. Once he catches a glimpse of what had gathered outside Silver gave a loud and drawn out groan and he slowly worked his way back to the bed before laying down, grabbing a pillow, and covering his head with it.

Morning well ruined indeed.

But then, the sounds of magic. Silvers peers out from under pillow to see Dark performing a spell that did....Something. Honestly from where he was he couldn't tell, but he did see a lot of snow flying past the window, followed by the sounds of retreat. Perhaps there was something to be salvaged here. Now sitting up on the bed Silver watches in astonishment as Dark walks away from the window, apparently whatever she did worked. Silver almost couldn't believe it, what had plagued him for an entire day she did away with before breakfast. As Dark and Slipstream bantered back and forth Silver continued to sit on the bed, nothing but the look of mild shock on his face.
Now if you'll please excuse us, we have some early morning snuggling to get back to.

And just like that the problem was resolved. Silver waited until Slipstream had left completely before his eyes shifted at Dark, a smile creeping across his face.

"My Hero." He says in a sappy voice before grabbing her in a hug and flinging them both back onto the bed, the pair of them now on their backs. Then quickly before Dark could react Silver rolls over to where we was standing over top of her with her on her back looking up. Silver hoped that Dark wouldn't dislike the playful side of his personality. It was how he usually was, yesterday being an exception of course. But with a full nights rest, and the feeling of sunlight from the window he felt like a new stallion, his coat was even shining again. 

Silver looks down at Dark from his position above her, smiling a seductive looking smile before lowering himself down, their bodies now touching, and finally starting that smooching session he wanted to do earlier.

[Dark Star]

Dark Star had enjoyed sending all those troublesome foals away. She felt bad for having to resort to her magic, but judging from the way Silver reacted, it was the only thing that could be done to salvage the morning. After a quick bit of praise from Silver, the now-glowing damsel in distress, and a quick hug, she found herself being flung directly onto the bed with Silver just above her. 'It would seem the tables have turned' she thought with a sly grin. Silver's little seduction act had worked perfectly, charming Dark Star the way she always wanted deep down. The two embraced lovingly as they began another session of absolute passion.

After having warned the two unicorns of the danger outside, Slipstream was now taking care of the small bit of laundry Dark Star had stripped off for her. 'Ain't no way we're using all that water just to wash one robe' she thought as she placed the grey bit of laundry in the hamper. She made certain that nobody was watching and then took a deep whiff of the fabric, the very scent of Dark Star all over it. Of course, it also had a bit of Silver's sent on it, and that certainly wasn't going to have gotten used to easily. Slipstream was so used to the smell of her roommate being on the few bits of laundry that needed to be done, so having the scent of a stallion on it suddenly felt strange to her. Still, she did as she was told and headed back into the living room.

She grabbed her three hair-ties and headed back upstairs and into the bathroom. Looking at herself in the mirror, she was surprised at the pony she saw looking back. She hadn't seen herself with her hair down often, even when she was a filly, so seeing herself like that now was a big surprise. Nevertheless, she prepared her brush and within a few minutes, she had her hair styled exactly the way it always was; two tails going over her shoulders and one behind her head. It was a simplistic style, true, but it was the way she loved it. It was one of the few "girly" things she actually enjoyed. Well, that and the spa, but she would never let any-pony know about that.

After the matter of her mane was settled, Slipstream made her way over to the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast. After the lovers upstairs finally had their fill, they'd more than likely want something to eat. 'Aside from each other's-' she thought before accidentally dropping an egg. She sighed, picked up a dishrag and cleaned it up right away. After the clean-up she got ready and started preparing breakfast the right way. Slipstream was never the greatest of cooks, but she did manage to learn a few things about cooking thanks to Dark Star. Then again, Dark Star was the type who can teach a lot about keeping a happy home-stay, really, it was almost as if she had the housekeeper rhythm down since birth. She really envied that about her, among other things.

One preparation later and breakfast was served. She set up 3 plates at the table and flapped her wings to waft the aroma up the stairs. 'Sure hope they don't have their muzzles too deep into one another that they can't smell this' she wondered for a second. Even with that in mind though, she still wafted the scent upstairs and let what little she knew about how heat rose do it's magic. 

[Toast]

Silver started the kiss slow but soon got more involved with their tongues wrestling about in each other's mouths. After some time they had to break the kiss, and Silver took a moment to lovingly stare into Darks eyes, breathing gently though his mouth. Now was his chance to continue where he left off last night. Shifting his body down Silver began to gently kiss and lick Darks neck, listening to the sounds he made in order to find the sweet spot where she was most sensitive. Every time she did it caused a bolt of electricity to shoot though Silvers body, which only made him go at her more rigorously. Silver knew he couldn't stay on her neck too long without risking it losing some of its lust. So instead he knew it was time to throw in his pièce de résistance. Moving up along her neck Silver found his way to Darks ear. As delicately at possible he started to nibble and tug it slightly while his tongue moving over the tip of it. Once he had his fill he finally realised it before whispering, "You're the most wonderful mare I've ever met, Dark Star." Silver knew how powerful a tool the mind could be. Physical affection could get you so far, but the feelings of the heart would have to be shared if you ever wanted something more. After Silver finished whispering his sweet nothings into Dark ear he pulled back, simply staring longingly into her eyes again.

Morning well salvaged.

It was at that moment that another feeling went through Silvers body, something that came about due to the smell of what was happening downstairs reaching him. He was completely starving. It made sense, he missed dinner last night due to obvious circumstances, and with the amount of energy expended over that time his body was now in some definite need. Unfortunately this put Silver in some divergence over spending more time with his new partner and satisfying his need to eat. Eventually though, biology would always be the victor. In a swift motion he moved to lay back down beside her with their muzzles close. With a grin on his face he closes his eyes before gently touching the end of her nose with his own.
"I guess it's about time we headed downstairs?" He says gently. They had their fun for now. And there would always be another time for physical affection. Perhaps then they would even be able to advance their relationship even further. But for now Silver was content, as long as he still got to be near the new mare of his dreams.

[Dark Star]

As the two unicorns continued their hot kissing frenzy, Dark Star felt positively charged with adrenaline. Their tongues danced inside one another's mouths before parting lips, a small trail of saliva visibly hanging between them. Silver wasted no time and began to ravish the dark mare's neck, prompting her to let out one sensuous moan after another. It didn't take long for her mind to flutter as rapidly as her heartbeat, her face flushed and her ears twitching. Speaking of the portion of her face, Silver soon found himself attacking the dark unicorn's ear, nibbling down on it and pulling it while his tongue caressed the inner fold of it. Dark Star's moaning became a bit louder now, and she was able to think even less coherently than earlier. She held him close with her fore-hooves while her tail delicately stroked the stallion's chin. He whispered words of absolute passion and Dark Star was just barely able to hear him. From what she could hear though, it sounded absolutely divine in the tone of voice he used. She soon found herself gazing into his brilliant yellow eyes, wanting to return the ravishing favor so bad.

But of course, all good things must come at an end at some point. Soon enough, both unicorns detected the vibrant smell of breakfast just downstairs. Dark Star could tell right away that Silver must've been starving. She did want to continue cuddling him and maybe sleep in his embrace, but she couldn't just keep him malnourished. Far be it from her to separate a pony from his food, after all. With a brief nod, she smiled and got up and off the bed. "I can't just let you starve to death, now can I?" she joked as she looked back at him. She trotted forward, Silver no doubt following behind, and was impressed by how well the smell seemed. Once the two had reached the stairs, they were quickly met with the sight of Slipstream, whom of which was wafting the smell up to them using her wings. 

Slipstream settled back down on all fours once she saw the pair of unicorns coming out, fully satisfied with how well her wafting worked. "Nice to see how tired you two get of sucking face" she commented bluntly with the same sly smirk she always has. "Right this way, please" she said as she walked into the kitchen, whipping her tail to better encourage the two to follow. Dark Star looked over at Silver and smiled. "Shall we?" she asked with a small flash of brighter color in her eyes. 

[Toast]

"I can't just let you starve to death, now can I?"


"Well you could." Sliver says jokingly as he orientates himself upright on the bed as Dark gets off. "But that might end up being counter-productive to our relationship." He says while smiling as he too hops off the bed. Before catching up he quickly glances back at the bed, slightly disappointed cuddle time was over, however a small rumble in his stomach reminded him what for. Quickly Silver trots up beside Dark as the pair of them descend down the stairs.


"Nice to see how tired you two get of sucking face"


It appeared Slipstream was already waiting for them. However her comment didn't phase Silver this time around, he was in much too good a mood to let Slipstream get under his skin in any sort of way. Well, that's what he told himself at least. "Not today Slipstream." He thinks to himself with a little smirk. There was little reason to get angry at Slipstream anyway, especially if she was about to serve him breakfast. Silver suddenly remembered how much she owed her as well. If she hadn't been in the park yesterday, the chain of events that led up to this would never had happened. "Right. I'll have to figure out some way to repay her." he thinks.
Besides if her and Dark were indeed best friends, it would be important for the both of them to be friends too.

"Right this way, please"


 
As Slipstream directs them into the kitchen Silver can't help but chuckle quietly "My, such wonderful service." He mutters happily. He almost felt like he was on some sort of vacation.



"Shall we?"


"Of course darling." Silver says, sidling close up beside Dark, his formal Canterlot accent slightly breaking though. He smiles at Dark as she speaks too, once again staring at those red glowing eyes, it was something he knew he would never get tired of looking at. As the two enter the kitchen the smell of Slipstream cooking becomes much more stronger. Upon catching a glimpse of the soon to be breakfast Silver could feel his mouth starting to salivate.


"Slipstream that smells incredible." He says with some enthusiasm as he takes as seat at the table beside Dark.

[Dark Star]

Slipstream smiled happily when Silver commented on the aroma of breakfast. "Thanks, it's just something basic that I whipped up" she commented with a small blush. Silver had an unusually charming air to him that morning, and the tone his voice seemed to increase that charm pretty well. Slipstream merely picked up the small tray containing everything she'd prepared-a few eggs done sunny-side up, some sliced apples on a lettuce cover and a bit of parsley here and there-and brought it over to the table. Dark Star smiled warmly and bowed her head in gratitude towards the younger mare. "Thank you for preparing this meal, Slipstream" she stated with another small flash in her eyes.

Slipstream's expression became slightly more confused at that point. It wasn't that she was surprised to hear Dark Star praising her, it's just that she'd never seen flashes in the latter's eyes when she was happy before, only when she was upset. 'Guess they can glow for multiple reasons' she figured mentally before focusing on the conversation going on before her. "S-so, how were things for you two in the tub last night?" she asked bluntly. Dark Star was about to take a bite of some eggs, but stopped half-way after Slipstream's blunt question. "I-I mean-it was...we were" she stumbled as she started to blush. 'I know you're blunt, but you can't actually be that blunt, can you?' she thought before turning her attention to Silver, hoping that he'd be able to get her out of it.

[Toast]

With a large toothy grin Silver quickly dug in as his food was placed before him. It tasted as good as it smelled. He started with the eggs before moving onto some apple slices, happily munching away until.

"S-so, how were things for you two in the tub last night?

Silver started to choke, coughing on apples slices. Quickly he grabbed some water and drank hastily before heaving in a large breath. Dark was able to stumble out a few words in the meantime, but more or less she was looking at him for some help.

"Uuuuuughh, this pony is really testing me." he thinks.

"Ok, First of all Slipstream, you and me. We're gonna have to work on boundaries sometime." he says as he facehoofs. "And second of all." He takes a another sip of water and lightly clears his throat. "Well, really, that's about it." Silver now much more calmly takes another bite on his apple slice, seeming quite content of the answer(or lack their of) that he gave, however the look of dissatisfaction in Slipstream face told him that he was going to have to divulge some information. 

"But if you must know." He says after swallowing the apple slice in his mouth. "We didn't do... Whatever it is that you think we did." Silver says, the last few words sounding like they were part of individual sentences. It was obvious he as struggling to come up with words,  and he probably could have just left it at that, but for some strange reason he couldn't' fight the urge to makes things worse. "I mean, if that's what your implying." Another pause. "Which, I know you didn't say that exactly... But that didn't happen, nothing happened. Well, not nothing." He says that last sentence rather quickly. For some reason the usually so articulate pony was finding difficulty formulating anything that made sense. He was becoming flustered. Funny considering five minutes ago he had himself convinced that Slipstream was not going to get to him today. "What I mean is, what me and Dark do in private is between us. So you really don't have any right to ask." Silver ramblings were becoming almost eccentric now.

"But you know... Since you did." He says much more slowly, and the last three words trailed off with a rasp in his voice and a bored look on his face. The three ponies now shared an awkward silence as Silver knew he botched that. "I made that unnecessarily difficult didn't I?" He says mutters to Dark while looking down at his food.

[Dark Star]

Dark Star felt happy that she could rely on Silver to explain things. He had this certain stern feeling to him that made it much easier to explain things seriously when he needed to. She liked that part about it. What she didn't like was how he more than easily flubbed things up worse than she did. He just tripped and tumbled over his words, just completely embarrassed himself throughout the whole thing. Slipstream just shook her head in disappointment while Dark Star did a completely un-subtle face-hoof. She levitated a napkin over his face and blotted the small beads of sweat that she could see forming on his fore-head. While he had managed to make a complete fool of himself, he at least managed to get the general point across, that much was good enough.  He whispered over to Dark Star about how he said a lot of superfluous things, which she didn't hesitate to nod to.

"I got the gist of it, don't worry" Slipstream stated as she started to eat some eggs, smiling at how well a job he did on them. Dark Star started to eat as well, but still felt as though the problem had yet to be resolved. Now that she was given some time to think it over, she took the opportunity to speak up. "I think what Silver was trying to say was that what we do when we're alone is nothing you need to know about" she stated sternly, much like a mother telling a child what they can and cannot do. Slipstream recognized the tone right away and rolled her eyes. 'Great, the mom voice again' she thought. She raised a hoof and waved about in a displeased manner. "I get it, I get it, ya don't have ta gimme the mom voice" she stated bluntly. "Good" Dark Star replied as she got back into breakfast. As Slipstream thought earlier, the household was feeling a lot bigger than it did earlier, and it didn't feel like it was going to become any smaller anytime soon.

Silver continued to stare at his food, somewhat disgruntled over his uncharacteristic like behaviour. However Dark Star was kind enough to give him some sympathy by taking care of the sweat on his face. his eyes glanced towards her with a sad smile "Thanks." He says quickly. Fortunately Slipstream ended the awkward moment by recognizing the point he was trying to get at. Silver continued with his breakfast while listening to the two ponies banter back and forth, the two seemed to be always be able be get into a state of argument relatively quickly. Silver felt positive that he probably wasn't the only one to ever notice that. Despite them just being friends Dark sure took on a more parental role over Slipstream. Silver guessed the age difference may only have been one aspect to explain that, but her maturity level over Slipstream was probably more cause for this effect. It was almost like Dark was essentially raising her. Silver made a mental note to bring it up with Dark later, although it might be a touchy subject to talk about, and there was defiantly no way he was gonna bring it up in front of both of them.

"Hmm, perhaps I'll sleep on it." He thinks.

However there was another thing on his mind he wanted to address. And that was the fact that Dark was awake eating breakfast with them. Wouldn't this technically be her dinner. He remembered her saying she was nocturnal, and he hadn't seen her take any of her potion yet today. He wasn't sure if she even slept during the night either. When he fell asleep she was still awake as far as he could remember, and when he woke up she had already been awake too. Had she possibly stayed awake the entire night?

"I hope you mind if I change the subject for a second." He says, his sentence structure and speech pattern much better than it was last time.
"However Dark, I was just wondering how long you're ok with staying up today. You said your nocturnal, right?" He says causally, taking a quick sip of water before continuing.
"Were you able to get any sleep last night?" Realizing how he phrased his question he quickly shoots a look dull look at Slipstream. "Don't comment on that."
